Mannat 19th August 2026 Written Update: Vikrant and Mannat Set a Trap for Dhairya on His Birthday
The 19th August 2026 episode of Mannat takes the plan against Dhairya a step further. While Vikrant continues pretending to be Abhimanyu, Dhairya remains convinced that he has not regained his memory. Meanwhile, Samragi sends a spy into the house, unaware that Mannat and Vikrant are already preparing their own trap.
The episode begins with Vikrant warning Manyata not to attempt anything that could harm her again. He assures her that he will return to her within five days and asks her to take her medicines on time and rest properly.
He then turns to Ankit and asks for his help.
Vikrant complains that Mannat is troubling him so much that he fears she may somehow extend the five-day arrangement. He says that he may have to stay away for a week and admits that he wants to spend more time with Manyata.
Vikrant asks Ankit to take care of Manyata until he returns to the house.
Ankit agrees.
After Vikrant leaves, Ankit calls Samragi and tells her that he is confused by Abhimanyu’s behaviour. On one hand, he behaves like Vikrant at times, but on the other, he is taking proper care of Manyata.
Samragi immediately becomes cautious.
She tells Ankit that they cannot take any risk with Manyata’s life. She orders him to send someone into the house to keep an eye on Vikrant and Mannat.
Samragi wants to know the truth.
She needs to find out whether Vikrant is merely pretending to be Abhimanyu or whether he has actually regained his memory.
Ankit agrees to arrange surveillance.
Meanwhile, Mannat is lost in her thoughts when Vikrant suddenly hugs her from behind.
Mannat becomes nervous and worries that someone might see them together.
Vikrant reassures her that everyone is asleep.
However, they have no idea that Dhairya is about to discover something suspicious.
Dhairya wakes up from a nightmare and gets up to drink water. He notices that Vikrant is missing from his room.
Suddenly, he hears Vikrant’s voice coming from Mannat’s room.
Dhairya becomes suspicious.
He wonders what Vikrant could possibly be doing inside Mannat’s room at such a late hour and decides to keep an eye on them.
Fortunately, Mannat notices Dhairya approaching and immediately alerts Vikrant.
The two quickly change their behaviour and begin pretending to argue.
Vikrant starts behaving like Abhimanyu and angrily talks about his love for Manyata.
Mannat taunts him for believing the lies around him and reminds him that she is his wife.
She insists that he is actually Vikrant Saluja and not Abhimanyu.
Vikrant pretends to defend the Rajvansh family. He argues with Mannat for keeping him trapped inside the house and preventing him from returning to Manyata.
He complains that two days have already passed and there is still no sign of his memory returning.
Vikrant then accuses Mannat of deliberately searching for excuses to keep him imprisoned there.
He insists that he is not Vikrant but Abhimanyu.
Mannat pretends to become emotional.
She tells him that he married her and therefore cannot betray her now.
Vikrant argues that their marriage is not real and claims that Mannat forced him into it.
He refuses to accept the relationship.
Mannat, however, firmly reminds him that regardless of what he says, he cannot deny that they are married.
Vikrant then pretends to lose patience with her emotional drama and walks away.
Mannat continues pretending to cry.
Dhairya immediately approaches her and asks what happened.
Mannat tells him that she has been trying desperately to make Vikrant understand his real identity, but he refuses to believe her.
She complains that no matter how hard she tries, nothing seems to be working.
Dhairya feels sympathetic towards her and hugs her.
Mannat becomes uncomfortable.
When Dhairya tries to hug her again, she cleverly pretends to pray and avoids him.
Dhairya observes the situation and reaches the conclusion he wanted.
He believes that Vikrant still has not regained his memory.
For Dhairya, this means there is still an opportunity to win Mannat’s trust.
Meanwhile, Mallika gives instructions to a new maid who has recently joined the house.
However, the maid is not what she appears to be.
She is actually a spy sent by Ankit to monitor Mannat and Vikrant.
The new maid secretly informs Ankit that she has successfully entered the house and secured the job.
Ankit passes the information on to Samragi.
The surveillance operation is now officially underway.
Later, Dua is busy preparing a birthday card for Dhairya.
She tells Mannat that Dhairya has done a lot for their family and that she wants to do something special for him in return.
Mannat realises how deeply Dua trusts Dhairya.
She feels terrible knowing that Dua has no idea about the truth behind his actions.
Mannat tells Dua that they can celebrate Dhairya’s birthday together.
Later, Mannat shares the idea with Vikrant.
Mannat admits that she feels bad for Dua because she knows the girl will be heartbroken once she discovers Dhairya’s real face.
Vikrant, however, sees the birthday celebration as an opportunity.
He tells Mannat that they can use Dhairya’s birthday to expose him once and for all.
Vikrant is confident that Dua will never support a criminal once she learns the truth, especially because she loves and trusts Mannat.
Mannat agrees to the plan.
The trap against Dhairya is now ready.
Precap
Vikrant plans to expose Dhairya during his birthday celebration. Mannat brings Dhairya his birthday cake, leaving him stunned when he sees “Khoon Kumar” written on it.
Mannat then confronts Dhairya, and he finally admits that he killed his own brother.
Review
This episode does a good job of keeping Dhairya’s paranoia alive while showing just how carefully Mannat and Vikrant are manipulating the situation. The fake argument between the two is particularly clever because Dhairya falls exactly for the story they want him to believe.
The introduction of Ankit’s spy adds another layer of danger. Now Mannat and Vikrant have to be careful not only around Dhairya but also around someone secretly watching their every move.
The emotional angle with Dua also works well. She genuinely trusts Dhairya, which makes the upcoming exposure more powerful. Using his birthday as the setting for the revelation is a strong choice because Dhairya will be completely unprepared for it.
The “Khoon Kumar” cake is definitely going to be a dramatic moment, especially if Dhairya finally confesses to killing his brother.
