The 19th August 2026 episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai brings romance, family rivalry and an unexpected twist as Abhira decides to bring back the spark in her relationship with Armaan. While Myra tries to distance herself from Kabir because of their families’ differences, Kabir refuses to give up and decides to personally apologize to her family. Meanwhile, Abhira’s romantic plans could create an unexpected collision between the two young couples.
Kabir Tries to End the Rivalry With Myra
The episode begins with Kabir trying to convince Myra to go on a coffee date with him.

Kabir Decides to Meet Myra’s Family

Episode Review
This episode nicely combines the Abhira-Armaan romance track with the growing Myra-Kabir tension.
Abhira’s determination to keep romance alive is relatable and gives the episode a lighter side. Her Paris plan shows that she is genuinely trying to reconnect with Armaan, even though his work commitments immediately complicate things. The nightdress sequence adds a little humour to what could otherwise have become a heavy relationship conversation.
The more interesting development, however, is Kabir’s decision to visit Myra’s house and apologize in front of everyone. Myra is already trying to distance herself from him because of the Poddar-Damani rivalry, so Kabir’s decision could put her in a difficult situation.
Bhairvi entering the business also looks promising because the rivalry is no longer limited to personal matters. With both families now dealing with business pressure, the conflict could become even more complicated.
And the precap promises a classic double-date collision. Myra is planning to attend the firefly festival, and Kabir may join her. At the same time, Abhira and Armaan are also heading there for their long-awaited date. Mukti immediately realizes the danger: if Myra and Kabir cross paths with Abhira and Armaan, the peaceful evening could quickly turn chaotic.
