Bareilly Ke Bacchan 20th August 2026 Written Update: Raghuvendra Burns Sangam’s Certificates as Her Family Traps Her
The 20th August 2026 episode of Bareilly Ke Bacchan takes Sangam into an extremely difficult situation as her family tries to stop her from returning to Krishna. What begins with Sangam agreeing to return home soon turns into a shocking trap, leaving her helpless when Raghuvendra makes a cruel decision regarding her certificates.
The episode begins with Susheela asking Sangam to forget everything that happened and return home. Raghuvendra also supports Susheela and asks Sangam to come back.
Sangam finally agrees.
Krishna remains worried about Sangam
Meanwhile, Ganga assures Krishna that Sangam will eventually return to the Bacchan house. She recalls staying at the Bacchan house and jokingly describes it as being almost like a garbage dump.
Krishna agrees with her and makes a comment about the condition of the house.
Ganga then asks Krishna an important question. If he loves Sangam so much, why doesn’t he simply tell her the truth?
Krishna explains that Sangam does not accept their marriage, and this remains a major problem between them.
Ganga tells Krishna that if Sangam chooses not to return, it should be because of Sangam’s own decision and not because her family has forced her into anything.
Krishna agrees with her.

Sangam agrees to stay, but wants to return to the Bacchan house

Sangam and Raghuvendra prepare to leave the house.
However, Vicky suddenly stops them.
Vicky tells Raghuvendra that Sangam cannot simply be allowed to leave because they cannot trust her anymore.
He then turns towards Sangam and makes it clear that she will not be allowed to leave without marrying him.
Vicky insists that they cannot trust Sangam and believes that marriage is the only way to keep her from leaving.
Sangam is visibly disturbed by the situation.
Krishna fears for Sangam’s safety
Krishna becomes increasingly worried.
He calls Mahi and asks him what is happening.
Mahi tells Krishna that Sangam has gone inside the house to speak to Susheela and Hema.
Krishna gets angry with Mahi for allowing Sangam to enter the house alone.
He questions why Mahi stayed outside while Sangam went inside, especially when her family has already been behaving suspiciously.
Krishna fears that something could happen to Sangam.
Mahi tries to calm him down and assures him that there is nothing to worry about before disconnecting the call.
However, Krishna remains restless.
Sangam discovers the family’s real plan
Inside the house, Sangam asks her family why Vicky is there.
As she speaks to them, she finally understands the truth.
Her family did not call her back simply to reconcile with her.
They deliberately brought her there because they wanted to trap her and force her into marrying Vicky.
Sangam is furious.

Vicky then starts arguing with Sangam and claims that he is better than Krishna because Krishna is merely a driver.

Raghuvendra gives Sangam a cruel choice
Raghuvendra asks Nirgun to bring Sangam’s certificates.
Nirgun follows his instructions and brings them.
Raghuvendra then puts Sangam in an impossible situation.
He tells her that she can have her certificates back only if she agrees to stay with them.
Sangam refuses to accept his condition.
She repeatedly pleads with Raghuvendra to return her documents and allow her to leave.
But Raghuvendra remains firm.
When Sangam refuses to surrender to their demands, Raghuvendra takes the certificates and burns them.
Sangam is horrified.
She desperately tries to stop him, but Susheela and Nirgun prevent her from reaching him.
The certificates are destroyed before Sangam can save them.
The heartbreaking moment leaves Sangam completely shattered as she realises that her own family is willing to destroy her future just to prevent her from choosing the life she wants.
