Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan 23rd August 2026 Written Update: Next Wave of Trouble. Sneha asks Tej who got him released from jail. Bhavani says she got him home. She hugs Tej and blesses him. Sneha asks Bhavani why she got him released, knowing he did wrong with Ganga. Durgavati tells that Sneha got Vimla released when she was arrested for the same crime. Siddhu tells that Vimla was sick and she regrets her actions. Tej tells that he was jealous of Siddhu and did wrong; he regrets his mistake, and he will never do such a thing again. He apologizes to Durgavati. She asks him to apologize to Ganga. He apologizes to Ganga and falls at her feet.
Ganga forgives him. Siddhu tells Bhavani that they should send Tej to their factory to handle the work and prove his change. Bhavani agrees. She asks Tej not to disappoint her. Tej looks at Siddhu and thinks he will give a shocking gift to him. Murli collides with Indu. She greets him. She recalls Purvi informing her that Murli and Sahana fought because of Kaali. She instigates him against Kaali.
Sneha performs the rituals for Madhu and Shekhar. Vimla says she doesn’t want her shadow to fall over them, and it’s good if Sneha does the rituals. Purvi taunts Sneha. Sneha reminds her that she is the Bahu of the house. Murli tells Indu that Kaali is working for Ganga. Indu tells that she knows the truth well: Kaali loves Sahana a lot, and Sahana decided to shelter him. She jokes that maybe Sahana is also falling for Kaali.
Murli is shocked. She says Sahana doesn’t like Murli now, since she likes Kaali. He fumes. He leaves. She calls Kaushalya and says she has planted a seed of doubt in Murli’s mind. She asks Kaushalya to increase his doubt further. Kaushalya thanks her. She tells Binita that Murli will soon leave Sahana. Durgavati taunts Vimla that Virender is paralyzed because of her. Tej hears Madhu and Sarla’s planning.
Sneha takes the Shagun plate. Durgavati collides with Sneha. She saves the Shagun from falling. Sneha is shocked to see a lemon with sindoor in it. She doesn’t let Durgavati see it. She moves Durgavati away. Durgavati gets angry. She asks Siddhu to see Sneha’s actions. She leaves. Sneha removes the lemon and gives the shagun plate to Madhu. She looks at Vimla. Shekhar asks Madhu to see the saree he got for her.
He sees the sindoor smeared on the saree. Sarla tells Purvi that Sneha removed the lemon. Sneha tells that she collided with Durgavati and sindoor fell over the saree. She apologizes and says she will clean it. Madhu says it’s okay. Sneha thinks if she made a mistake by getting Vimla out of jail. Siddhu looks at Sneha. Sneha speaks to Vimla. Vimla thanks her for helping her. Sneha asks her if she is playing any game.
She says there was a lemon with sindoor in the Shagun. She wants to know if Vimla kept it. Vimla defends herself. She tells that she didn’t do it because she can’t lose Shekhar. She cries. Sneha hugs her. She says she trusts Vimla. Bhavani comes and asks Sneha what’s the matter. She doesn’t want anything to happen to Madhu. Sneha says Vimla didn’t do anything, because she can’t take the risk of losing Shekhar.
Bhavani says they have to find out who did it. Durgavati and everyone come. Shekhar tells that he will come to take Madhu tomorrow. Everyone blesses him. Siddhu teases Madhu. Madhu asks Durgavati to pull Siddhu’s ears. Siddhu flirts with Sneha. She asks him not to fly high. He says he feels she has forgiven him. She smiles and goes. Ganga comes to a temple. She meets the pandit. She says she wants to pray for Sneha and Siddhu’s well-being and happiness.
She adds that Sneha has forgiven Siddhu, and they are coming closer; she wants to pray for their successful marriage. He breaks the puja coconut. She is shocked to see the black inside of the coconut. She asks if it’s okay. The pandit tells that Sneha and Siddhu will face many difficulties. Ganga says she will do any ritual to save them. He tells that she must perform the ritual secretly; she has to do Jal Abhishek of the Shivling and also do a Pariknama on her knees 21 times. She agrees.

This episode nicely balances family reconciliation with the next wave of trouble. Tej admitting his mistake and apologizing to Ganga gives his character a much-needed moment of accountability. Ganga forgiving him also stays true to her compassionate nature, although Siddhu’s suggestion that Tej prove himself through work could become an important test of whether his change is genuine.
The more interesting conflict is happening around Sahana and Murli. Indu’s manipulation is particularly dangerous because she doesn’t need any proof—she simply plants the idea that Sahana may have feelings for Kaali. Given Murli’s already fragile trust, this is exactly the kind of doubt that could create serious damage. Kaushalya being ready to exploit that doubt makes the track even more threatening.
The Madhu-Shekhar ceremony provides some warmth, but Sarla’s plan keeps the atmosphere suspicious. Sneha finding the lemon and sindoor and quietly removing it is a good suspenseful moment. More importantly, she refuses to immediately blame Vimla and actually asks her directly. Vimla’s emotional reaction and Sneha’s decision to trust her make this conflict more layered than another simple accusation.
Sneha’s relationship with Durgavati also remains complicated. Durgavati is clearly watching her closely, while Sneha is trying to protect everyone from unnecessary misunderstandings. Their clash over the suspicious ritual item feels like another test of whether Durgavati will ever fully trust Sneha.
The episode ends on the strongest hook: Ganga’s temple ritual. The black coconut immediately shifts the mood and suggests that the writers are preparing a major obstacle for Sneha and Siddhu. Ganga’s willingness to secretly perform the difficult ritual shows just how deeply she wants their marriage to succeed.
Overall, a strong family-drama episode with good emotional progression, particularly in the Murli-Sahana and Sneha-Vimla tracks. The supernatural warning at the end adds suspense without overshadowing the character conflicts.
