Anu reads about Rajnandini and Rajeev/Arya’s story getting stronger, and Jalandhar turning against Rajeev. The flashback shows Arya complaining about Jalandhar’s illegal activities and getting him arrested. Jalandhar threatens to kill him. Anu says that Arya told her the truth about Jalandhar, and even then she doubted him. Meera enters Arya’s room. She finds him sleeping. She keeps the key on the side desk and leaves. Pushpa comes to the temple and looks for the photo. She finds it. She turns to leave. She sees Gopal. She gets worried and drops the torch.
He asks her what she is doing at the temple at night. He asks her to show the photograph. He checks the picture. He seems shocked. Anu reads the diary. The flashback shows Rajnandini and Rajeev meeting often and their friendship turning into love. Rajeev gives her a gift with cute love notes. Rajnandini smiles and kisses the note. He proposes to her. He tells that he wants to spend his life with her. He asks her if she would marry him. She says yes.
He makes her wear the ring. He hugs her. Anu says Arya has proposed Rajnandini in a beautiful way, he is very romantic. She wants to know what happened next. Arya wakes up and looks for Anu. He finds the key. He goes out of his room. Anu reads that Rajnandini had to convince her dad. The flashback shows Mr Vardhan refusing to accept Rajeev. Gayatri and Rajnandini ask him to think calmly. He refuses. Rajnandini defends Rajeev. She asks what the problem is. Rajeev says he will keep Rajnandini happy. Mr Vardhan scolds him.
She asks him not to blame Rajeev. He gets hurt that she is calling him wrong for Rajeev’s sake. He feels chest pain and stumbles. They worry. Anu sees the time. Arya comes and opens the door of the locked room. Arya and Anu are shocked to see each other. She tries to explain. He stops her and leaves. She cries. She says Arya would be very angry. She puts the book back on the shelf. She leaves.
Meera looks on and smirks that her plan worked. Gopal and Pushpa come home. He asks her if she fainted after seeing Arya’s old picture. He tells that someone is doing this to trouble her; someone is jealous of Anu and trying to create doubt in their minds. He asks her not to believe the photograph. He says Arya is a good person; they can go and talk to him to clear the matter. He asks her to sleep. Anu comes to her room.
She thinks of apologising to Arya. She asks him to listen to her once. He turns to sleep. It’s morning; Mansi comes to Meera. She asks why nothing happened at night. Meera says that it’s the silence before a storm’s arrival. Mansi asks her to explain. Meera says it’s time that Mansi announces her pregnancy. Mansi agrees. She asks what she is going to do. Meera says she will know soon. Mansi asks what her game plan is.
Meera doesn’t reveal anything. Anu prays to Matarani and cries. Gayatri comes and asks her why she is worried. Arya comes and takes Anu with him. He brings her to a park. He says he doesn’t want anyone to hear their conversation, so he got her far from home. She apologizes for her mistake. He tells that he was keeping her away from Rajnandini and his past, since it can affect her health.
She says she is curious to know about Rajnandini, since she is dreaming about her. She adds that Siddhi Maa told her that she will find her answers. She says she feels she is able to feel and visualise everything written in that book, and she is getting to know him better. She says she ordered the mouth organ for him too. He says he already understood it. She asks if he would permit her to go there if she asked.
He says no. She says she wants her answers at any cost; she wanted to tell him everything after finishing the book, but he got to know it himself. Pushpa thinks of talking to Anu about the photograph. Arya tells Anu that if she thinks she should read the book to know the answers, then he is ready to tell her everything about his past. She asks if he is telling the truth. He says yes. He doesn’t want anyone else to know about Rajnandini.

This episode finally gives the Rajnandini track a meaningful emotional turn. Anu’s reading of the book is no longer just about satisfying her curiosity—she is beginning to understand Arya’s past from a completely different perspective. Seeing Rajnandini and Rajeev’s relationship grow from friendship into love also makes Anu realise how deeply connected the two once were.
The flashback involving Jalandhar adds another important layer to Arya’s character. Anu understands that Arya had actually told her about Jalandhar’s wrongdoings, yet she had still doubted him at one point. Her regret makes her emotional journey more convincing because she is not simply chasing a mystery anymore; she is also reassessing the man she loves.
The biggest development, however, comes when Arya catches Anu inside the locked room. His immediate reaction is disappointment rather than simply anger. Anu tries to explain herself, but he walks away, leaving her heartbroken. Meera’s satisfaction in the background makes it obvious that this is exactly the reaction she wanted. For once, her manipulation has managed to create a genuine emotional distance between Anu and Arya.
Pushpa’s discovery of the photograph creates another parallel mystery. While Anu is uncovering Arya’s past through Rajnandini’s writings, Pushpa is beginning to question whether the family has been kept in the dark about a major truth. Anu, meanwhile, makes it clear that she doesn’t want to investigate him out of suspicion—she genuinely feels connected to Rajnandini’s story and wants to understand why she keeps experiencing these visions.
And then comes the major shift: Arya agrees to tell Anu everything about his past. After so many episodes of secrecy, this could finally be the moment when the Rajnandini mystery moves from endless questions to actual answers.
The episode works because Anu and Arya finally stop standing on opposite sides of the secret. The real question now is whether Arya’s version of the past will match everything Anu has discovered in the book—and what will happen when Pushpa’s discovery reaches the family.
