Yeh Fitoor Tera 23rd August 2026 Written Update: Soumya Faces a Shocking Accusation as Jeet Stands by Her
The episode begins with Soumya getting an awkward surprise when she realizes that Jeet is taking a bath. She immediately closes her eyes and pretends that she is not looking, although curiosity eventually gets the better of her and she secretly glances at him.
Meanwhile, Reva teases Ridhan about his drinking habits. She jokes that instead of spraying wine all over his T-shirt next time, he should simply stick to two pegs. She then turns the conversation toward the girl he likes and advises him to stop delaying things.
Reva tells Ridhan that he should tell his father about the girl he loves and propose to her before the situation becomes more complicated.
Ridhan admits that things are not as simple as she thinks.
Reva, however, refuses to accept excuses. According to her, the longer he waits, the more difficult everything will become.
Later, Jeet questions Soumya about why she has come to meet him. Soumya tells him that she has brought Nani’s ashes, which he had accidentally left behind at home.
Jeet becomes emotional upon seeing them.
He tells Soumya that he could never forget Nani.
Soumya reminds him that although he may have accidentally left Nani’s ashes behind, he has also left behind the place where Nani truly deserved to stay. Her words make Jeet think.
Jeet takes the ashes from her and Soumya asks whether Nani will now stay with him.
Jeet explains that the garage is only a temporary address.
Soumya, however, feels that Nani deserves much better. She makes Jeet realize that he cannot simply accept a difficult life as his permanent reality and must think about building something better for himself.
Meanwhile, Sanjib questions Ridhan about the marriage proposal.
Ridhan remains silent.
Reva cleverly steps in and tells Sanjib that they need some more time before making a final decision. Ridhan initially feels disappointed, but Reva later reveals that she deliberately bought him some time.
She tells Ridhan that if she had not asked for more time, another girl would have arrived within four days to meet him.
Ridhan is impressed by Reva’s quick thinking. He realizes that she is trying to give him enough time to handle his personal situation before the family pushes him into another decision.
Meanwhile, Soumya finally opens her heart to Jeet.
She tells him that she understands why he originally came to their locality. Jeet had come to fight for the rights that his father had denied him for years. But now, after everything that has happened, it appears that he has left behind that fight and is sacrificing his own life because of her.
Jeet refuses to accept that he has sacrificed anything for Soumya.
He tells her that he was already bored with his old life and had gone there because he wanted to create problems for Sanjib. Now that his purpose has been fulfilled, he is actually enjoying his new life.
Soumya, however, challenges him to look into her eyes and accept the truth.
She tells him that whatever he has done, he has ultimately done it for himself and for the life he genuinely wants.
Meanwhile, tensions rise at home when Sanjib loses his temper with Ridhan.
Sobha tries to defend herself and tells Sanjib that she is ready to face the humiliation because she was the one who brought the marriage proposal.
Nita takes a stronger stand.
She tells Sanjib that Ridhan should be allowed to marry the person he loves.
Sanjib argues that Ridhan will eventually fall in love with someone after marriage.
Nita refuses to accept his thinking.
Their argument soon becomes personal.
Nita reminds Sanjib about his past affair with Jeet’s mother. Sanjib retaliates by reminding Nita that she had never considered him worthy of her love.
Nita remains firm.
She says Ridhan will marry the girl he loves and nobody else should interfere in his decision.
Elsewhere, Soumya asks Jeet to return home. She worries that her father will become furious if he learns about everything.
Soumya assures Jeet that she will speak to her father and try to convince him.
Jeet, however, tells her that she needs to find courage for herself rather than constantly worrying about everyone else.
Soumya remains determined. She believes that Mata Rani has brought Jeet into her life for a reason, and she wants him to return.
Later, Soumya and Krish return home and see Anup gifting a kurta to Roop.
Anup praises Roop for his achievements and gives him credit for bringing positive changes into their lives.
Soumya immediately feels that Roop is being selfish.
She asks Krish to speak to their father about Jeet.
Krish agrees.
He tells Anup that he wants to discuss something important.
Krish reminds Anup of an incident from his chamber involving a new doctor who had made a wrong diagnosis. Krish had saved the patient’s life and still chosen to forgive the doctor.
Using that example, Krish tells Anup that Jeet has also saved their family and their house several times.
Yet Jeet is now living in a cheap garage.
Krish believes that Jeet deserves another chance.
Anup is shocked to learn that Krish knows about Jeet’s living conditions.
Uma immediately questions Krish and asks why he is supporting Jeet despite knowing that Jeet humiliated Roop.
The argument becomes heated.
Anup raises his hand to slap Krish, but Soumya immediately steps between them and stops him.
She boldly tells Anup that she agrees with Krish.
According to Soumya, Jeet deserves another chance.
Uma begins taunting Madhu, while Anup questions Soumya about repeatedly taking Jeet’s side.
He accuses her of crossing every limit and going against her own family.
The situation takes a shocking turn when Uma makes a serious accusation against Soumya.
She claims that Soumya is having an affair with Jeet.
Soumya is left completely speechless.
The accusation changes the entire atmosphere. The very person who has been trying to help Jeet and protect others from Roop’s actions is now being placed under suspicion herself.
Soumya stands stunned as the family turns against her for supporting Jeet.

The episode has a strong emotional progression, particularly in the way Soumya’s relationship with Jeet develops. Their conversation about Nani’s ashes is quiet but meaningful, because Soumya isn’t simply feeling sorry for Jeet—she is challenging him to expect more from life. That gives their bond a little more depth.
Ridhan’s track provides a lighter counterbalance to the heavier family drama. Reva’s attempt to buy him time is clever, and Ridhan’s helplessness around the marriage proposal is becoming increasingly interesting. The family may be discussing marriage as if it is a scheduled event, while Ridhan is clearly trying to stop the train before it leaves the station.
The biggest strength of the episode is Krish taking a stand for Jeet. His argument is not based purely on emotion; he reminds Anup that Jeet has helped the family despite everything. Soumya then stepping forward to support him makes the confrontation even stronger.
But Uma’s accusation changes the game completely. After everything Soumya has endured, having her character questioned because she supports Jeet is a particularly cruel turn. The accusation also shows how quickly a family can turn suspicion into certainty when emotions are running high.
