Mahadev And Sons 24th August 2026 Written Update: Rajji and Narmada Join Hands as Mogra Walks Into Their Trap
The episode begins with Mogra noticing that Rajji is missing from her room. Her sudden absence immediately makes Mogra suspicious, and she informs Lajwanti about it. Lajwanti also becomes concerned and wonders whether Rajji and Narmada have secretly joined hands against them.
Soon, Mogra comes across Narmada as she returns home. She immediately questions her about where she has been. Narmada, however, is prepared with an explanation. She claims that she had gone to find out what Rajji was planning, but Rajji was clever enough to realise that she was being watched. According to Narmada, Rajji changed her plans after noticing her surveillance.
Just then, Rajji appears.
Narmada and Rajji quickly put their plan into action. They deliberately stage an argument in front of Mogra, making it appear as though the two women are genuinely fighting. Narmada even pretends to slap Mogra, claiming that she had actually intended to slap Rajji. She then scolds Rajji and takes Mogra away from the situation.
Once Mogra is gone, Rajji quietly suppresses her amusement. Their act appears to have worked perfectly.
Later, during dinner, Mahadev asks Narmada if everything is fine. Before Narmada can answer, Mogra intervenes and tells him about the earlier disagreement between Narmada and Rajji.
Mahadev immediately becomes angry with Rajji. He strongly disapproves of her behaviour and questions her intentions. Dheeraj and Narmada both appear uncomfortable as the situation gets worse. Dheeraj eventually loses his appetite and leaves without having dinner.
Vidya, however, refuses to remain silent.
She defends Rajji and warns Mahadev that constantly doubting her could eventually lead to regret. Mogra, meanwhile, appears satisfied because Mahadev’s anger is pushing Rajji further away from the family.
Later that night, Dheeraj secretly meets Rajji. He does not realise that Mogra is following them.
Mogra overhears Rajji complaining to Dheeraj about both her and Narmada. However, what she doesn’t understand is that Rajji and Dheeraj are deliberately playing along with the situation. The two exchange subtle smiles as they remember Narmada’s earlier instructions to trap Mogra.
Mogra immediately decides to expose Dheeraj’s support for Rajji in front of the family.
But before she can do anything, Narmada stops her.
Narmada persuades Mogra not to reveal anything and instead suggests that they should come up with a plan to permanently remove Rajji from the house. Mogra agrees, unaware that she is slowly walking deeper into the trap being prepared for her.
The following day brings Raksha Bandhan celebrations.
Priya contacts her brothers to celebrate the occasion. Meanwhile, Dheeraj has a video call with Rajji. Rajji asks him to show her what everyone in the house is doing.
Dheeraj initially hesitates because he is worried that Mogra might notice what he is doing. However, when he sees Rajji’s rakhi plate, he asks her about it.
Rajji reveals that she does not intend to tie a rakhi to Vishwa.
Seeing her become emotional, Dheeraj changes his mind. He begins giving her a video tour of the house, allowing her to feel connected to the family celebrations. The gesture cheers Rajji up.
Elsewhere, Vidya tells Mahadev that Kamakshi will not be returning home. Ketan immediately decides that he will go and meet her so that he can deliver her rakhi personally.
Narmada, however, convinces Mogra to send Ashish instead.
Mogra agrees and instructs Ashish to go.
Dheeraj soon arrives with another idea. He decides to record the Raksha Bandhan celebrations so that Rajji can watch everything through the video call.
When Ketan gives money to Priya, Rajji praises him. Unfortunately, her voice can be heard by everyone.
Dheeraj quickly covers the situation by claiming that the voice is part of an advertisement.
Mogra then surprises Ketan by apologising for her earlier comment about him.
Later, when it is Dheeraj’s turn, Narmada holds the phone while Priya ties the rakhi to him. Dheeraj then makes an emotional announcement.
He says that he has gained another sister this year—Narmada.
Narmada becomes emotional hearing this.
Mogra immediately notices the emotional connection developing between them. She warns Narmada not to become too attached to Dheeraj because he already has a relationship with Rajji.
Narmada pretends to accept Mogra’s advice.
Meanwhile, Rajji arrives near Mahadev’s residence carrying a thaali.
Vishwa notices her and becomes hopeful. He immediately steps outside, with Yash following him.
Rajji then speaks about the transformation she has witnessed in her brother Vishwa. She accuses him of becoming involved in the death of an unborn child and makes it clear that she intends to seek justice and retribution.
Her words are enough to raise the tension.
Lajwanti immediately calls Mogra and informs her about Rajji’s threats against Yash and Vishwa. She also reveals her suspicions regarding Narmada’s connection with Rajji and Dheeraj.
Mogra becomes furious.
She tells Lajwanti that if her information is correct, Narmada will have to face the consequences.
Mogra then heads towards Rajji’s residence to find out what is actually happening.
At the same time, Rajji performs the Raksha Bandhan ceremony with Narmada. The two appear completely comfortable and happy together, while Dheeraj watches them.
The scene is particularly significant because Mogra believes she is about to uncover their secret, while Rajji and Narmada are already several steps ahead of her.
The episode ends with the growing danger around their plan.

Review
The episode does a good job of turning the power dynamics around. Mogra still believes she is controlling the situation, but almost every move she makes is being observed and manipulated from behind the scenes. Her confidence is beginning to feel a little premature.
Rajji and Narmada’s fake fight is easily the smartest part of the episode. They don’t need a dramatic confrontation or an elaborate explanation; a carefully staged argument is enough to make Mogra believe she has discovered something useful. Sometimes the simplest trap is the one that works best—and Mogra walks straight into it.
The Raksha Bandhan portions also add an emotional layer to the track, particularly with Dheeraj acknowledging Narmada as his sister. Beneath all the plotting, there is still a sense of family and belonging, which makes the darker developments around Rajji feel even more unsettling.
And then comes the precap, which changes the stakes completely. Lajwanti’s plan is not merely about exposing Rajji anymore—it is about eliminating her and framing Narmada in the process. Mogra may think she has been handed the perfect weapon, but considering how many people are already playing their own game, this poisoned-food plan could end up becoming another trap.
