Mannat 24th August 2026 Written Update: Vikrant Saves Dua from Manyata as Dhairya Suspects His Memory Is Back
The episode begins with Manyata once again targeting Dua. She tries to attack her, but Dua manages to bite her hand and runs away. The situation becomes increasingly dangerous as Manyata remains determined to get rid of Dua because she believes the child is standing between her and Abhimanyu.
Meanwhile, Dhairya and Mannat are busy taking care of Roni. Vikrant watches everything from a distance and feels helpless. He knows he cannot openly protect his father without risking his carefully maintained identity. He thinks about how he was unable to help Roni and reminds himself that he has to continue pretending that he does not care about him.
However, his attention soon shifts towards Dua.
Vikrant notices that Dua is missing and immediately becomes worried. He starts looking for her.
At the same time, Manyata manages to catch Dua again.
She tells the frightened child that she will get rid of her once and for all. Manyata is convinced that nobody will be able to separate Abhimanyu from her if Dua is no longer around. She even declares that Dua may die that very day.
Dua desperately looks for a way to escape.
She finally pushes some plates down, creating a loud noise.
Everyone hears the crash and rushes towards the sound.
Vikrant reaches the spot and is horrified to see Manyata attempting to push Dua into an oven. Without thinking about his carefully constructed act, he immediately pulls Dua towards himself.
He hugs her tightly, terrified that something could have happened to her.
Manyata is stunned by Vikrant’s reaction.
She asks him how he could push her away for Dua and declares that she wants to kill the child. Vikrant loses control and slaps Manyata.
He angrily asks her how she dared to touch Dua.
The moment is extremely significant because Dhairya immediately becomes suspicious.
He starts wondering whether Vikrant has regained his memories.
Manyata is equally shocked that Vikrant slapped her for Dua. She questions how he could raise his hand against her because of the child.
Vikrant quickly realises that he has gone too far.
He immediately changes his behaviour and pretends that he has no memory of his past. He explains that he only slapped Manyata because he wanted to control her emotions and stop her from doing something dangerous.
He insists that he cares about Manyata.
He even tells her that Mannat could send her to jail because of what she has done.
Mannat then firmly threatens to have Manyata arrested.
Roni is furious as well. He tells Mannat that he regrets forgiving Manyata when she previously tried to harm her. He makes it clear that he will not repeat the same mistake.
Roni asks Mannat to call the police.
Vikrant secretly wants exactly that. He wants Manyata away from everyone, but he knows that openly supporting her arrest could expose his true identity. As Abhimanyu, he has to maintain his act.
Therefore, he pretends to convince Mannat to forgive Manyata one more time.
At the same time, Vikrant secretly calls Ankit and asks him to take Manyata back home.
Roni then asks Dhairya to take the children home.
Dhairya, however, suggests that Mannat should stay behind with Vikrant because Manyata could attack Vikrant again.
Mannat agrees and sends the children away with Dhairya.
Dhairya continues observing everything carefully.
He feels that Mannat and Vikrant are behaving strangely. Their reactions seem too coordinated, and he starts wondering whether the two of them are secretly pretending not to know the truth about him.
Dhairya becomes determined to find out what they are planning behind his back.
More importantly, he wants to confirm whether Vikrant’s memory has actually returned.
Meanwhile, Manyata emotionally hugs Vikrant and begins crying.
Mannat immediately separates her from him.
She warns Manyata to stay away from Vikrant. Manyata calls Mannat a betrayer and accuses her of lying to her. She insists that she will never send her Abhimanyu back to Mannat.
Manyata then threatens to kill both Dua and Mannat.
Mannat loses patience and slaps her.
She gives Manyata a stern warning and tells her to stay away from her family.
Manyata tries to attack Mannat again, but Vikrant intervenes and stops her. He warns Manyata to stay away from them.
Manyata then resorts to emotional blackmail.
She tries to remind Vikrant of their relationship and attempts to make him feel guilty for standing against her.
Later, Ankit arrives.
Vikrant asks him to take Manyata away from there. Ankit immediately becomes suspicious of Vikrant’s behaviour and starts wondering why he reacted so strongly.
Vikrant explains that Mannat is planning to send Manyata to jail and says that it would not be good for her.
Ankit takes note of everything.
Vibha then apologises to Mannat on Manyata’s behalf. She assures Mannat that Manyata will not disturb them again.
However, the situation is far from over.
Dhairya has already started connecting the dots.
The episode ends with his suspicion over Vikrant’s memory becoming stronger than ever.
Precap
Dhairya plans another test for Vikrant.
He spikes Mannat’s drink to see whether Vikrant will become concerned about her and contact her if she does not return home on time. Dhairya wants to use Mannat’s absence to determine whether Vikrant’s memories have truly returned.
And this time, Vikrant may have to pass the test without knowing that he is being watched.
Review
This episode finally gives Vikrant a moment where his emotions almost destroy the entire act he has been maintaining. Saving Dua without hesitation and slapping Manyata was completely instinctive, and that’s precisely why Dhairya’s suspicion has become so dangerous.
Mannat also deserves credit for immediately understanding what Vikrant’s reaction could cost them. She doesn’t waste time questioning him; she switches straight into damage-control mode. The two are clearly trying to stay ahead of Dhairya, but their biggest problem is that Dhairya has stopped believing what he sees.
Dhairya’s suspicion is now the most interesting part of the track. He isn’t simply guessing anymore—he is actively designing situations to test Vikrant. And that changes the game completely. Vikrant may have regained his memory, but Dhairya is slowly regaining his ability to detect danger too.
The precap takes this cat-and-mouse game another step forward. Spiking Mannat’s drink just to see whether Vikrant calls her is certainly a sneaky test, but Dhairya may have underestimated one thing: Vikrant has already been playing this game while hiding his real identity. The question is no longer whether Dhairya suspects him—it is whether Vikrant can survive the test without giving himself away.
Rating: 4.3/5
“When a secret is being protected by two people, the real danger begins when a third person starts asking the right questions.”
