Sairaab 24th August 2026 Written Update: Ishaan Leaves for Abroad as Nayanika Faces Another Humiliation

The episode begins with Ishaan asking Bishu to start packing because he is planning to go abroad. He specifically reminds Bishu not to forget his medicines. However, Bishu is still unable to accept the way Ishaan is behaving towards Nayanika. He feels that Nayanika may not have betrayed Ishaan intentionally and believes that their harsh behaviour towards her is unfair.

Ishaan immediately stops him from taking Nayanika’s name.

He tells Bishu that his anger would not have reached this level if Nayanika had rejected him because of Ujjaini. According to Ishaan, Nayanika had another reason for rejecting him, and that is what hurts him the most. Bishu admits that he has become emotionally attached to Nayanika and therefore finds it difficult to believe that she could simply move on.

Ishaan, however, remains convinced that Nayanika never truly loved him.

He tells Bishu that if she had loved him, she would not have moved on so easily. Ishaan then bitterly blames himself for falling in love with her. He says that he was foolish to believe in their relationship and feels that, for Nayanika, he was nothing more than someone with whom she was simply passing time.

His words reveal just how deeply the rejection has affected him.

Meanwhile, back at home, Shreya asks Indrani and Adinath to have their food. Indrani asks Shreya to join them, while Angana praises Shreya for arranging everything so well. The family continues with the celebrations, but Nayanika’s absence does not go unnoticed.

Jaya asks Rusha whether Nayanika has eaten anything.

Elsewhere, Mini and Romeo go to Nayanika and ask her to come downstairs for dinner. Nayanika hesitates because she fears that Ujjaini will become angry if she sees her. She says she does not want to spoil anyone’s mood by being present there.

Mini refuses to accept that excuse.

She tells Nayanika that she will not eat unless Nayanika joins her. Nayanika then explains that she wanted to wish Adinath and Indrani and has even bought gifts for them. She plans to keep the gifts in their room later.

Mini points out that Nayanika continues to fulfil her responsibilities despite everything happening around her. Her words highlight the contrast between Nayanika’s behaviour and the way the family continues to treat her.

At the same time, Ishaan is unable to escape his memories.

He recalls seeing Nayanika at the riverside with another man and once again becomes convinced that she has moved on. He thinks about how important she was to him and how her betrayal destroyed everything he believed about their relationship.

Ishaan breaks down emotionally and wonders why he had to suffer such heartbreak when his feelings for Nayanika were genuine.

Bishu enters and asks him about his medicines, but Ishaan’s frustration quickly turns into anger. He lashes out at Bishu and walks away.

Bishu is left emotional. He feels that Nayanika has caused Ishaan so much pain that even God will not forgive her.

Meanwhile, the discussion at home turns towards Nayanika’s place in the family.

Indrani firmly says that Nayanika is no longer part of the family. Neil asks when she plans to leave the house. Adinath explains that Nayanika has requested some time because there is currently no vacancy in the hospital quarters.

Indrani suggests that Nayanika should simply return to her father’s house.

Kaka, however, takes a more reasonable position and says that Nayanika can stay there until she finds another place to live. But Neil remains impatient and believes she should leave as soon as possible.

The conversation then shifts towards Ishaan.

Rudra asks whether Ishaan will shift to Kolkata. Neil says he has no idea. Angana then draws a comparison and says that Neil left the house after getting married, so Nayanika should also move to her new in-laws’ house.

The comments leave Nayanika increasingly uncomfortable.

Despite everything, Nayanika refuses to abandon her responsibilities.

She shows Mini and Romeo the gifts she has bought for Adinath and Indrani. She still wants to give them the presents and wishes them well. However, she refuses to join the family for dinner. She says she will sit with Mini and Romeo instead, but she does not want to become a reason for further tension.

Rusha then asks Ujjaini where Mini and Romeo are. Ujjaini assumes that they must be in Nayanika’s room.

Soon, Nayanika arrives with the gifts.

She approaches Adinath and Indrani and gives them the presents. But instead of appreciating her gesture, Indrani scolds her for bringing gifts despite everything that has happened.

Mini and Romeo immediately defend Nayanika.

Ujjaini, however, takes an even harsher stand.

She tells Nayanika that she can never regain the place she has lost in the family. She questions why Nayanika continues pretending to be innocent and insists that she has no intention of accepting her again.

Ujjaini then makes an especially painful statement.

She tells Nayanika that although Nayanika is her mother, having her as a mother is itself an insult to her.

Nayanika is visibly hurt.

She tells Ujjaini that she cannot erase the relationship between them simply because circumstances have changed. She remains her mother, whether Ujjaini accepts it or not.

But Ujjaini refuses to soften.

She tells Nayanika that she will not even allow her to enter her dreams.

The episode ends with Nayanika once again being pushed away by the people she considers family, while Ishaan continues believing that she betrayed him and has already moved on.

Review

This episode leans heavily into emotional rejection, and it works because Nayanika doesn’t fight back with the same bitterness. Her decision to continue fulfilling her responsibilities despite being repeatedly humiliated makes her silence speak louder than another confrontation would.

Ishaan, meanwhile, is clearly trapped inside his own version of the truth. He has convinced himself that Nayanika never loved him, and every memory now seems to support that conclusion. The problem? His heartbreak is doing the detective work, and heartbreak is rarely known for producing unbiased evidence.

The family track is particularly uncomfortable because Nayanika isn’t demanding her old position back. She is simply trying to remain respectful and fulfil her responsibilities. Yet almost every gesture is interpreted against her. Ujjaini’s reaction is especially harsh, and the mother-daughter conflict now feels much deeper than a temporary disagreement.

And then comes that precap.

The pregnancy revelation could completely change the direction of the story. If the report is genuine, Ishaan’s decision to leave the country may suddenly become much more complicated. If it is another manipulation, however, Shreya may have just opened a completely new chapter of chaos. Either way, the next episode clearly isn’t planning to let anyone enjoy a peaceful family dinner.

Rating: 4/5

“Sometimes the hardest truth is not being rejected by strangers, but being pushed away by the people you never stopped calling your own.”
