Yeh Fitoor Tera 24th August 2026 Written Update: Jeet Brings Mata Rani to the Jagrata as Soumya’s Feelings Deepen
The episode begins with Uma continuing to taunt Soumya over her alleged relationship with Jeet. Her indirect accusations leave Soumya visibly uncomfortable, especially because the matter has already become a sensitive topic within the family.
Roop also tells Anup that he believes Anup will not be able to support Soumya this time.
However, Anup surprises everyone.
He firmly stands by his daughter and tells Uma that he completely trusts Soumya. According to him, his daughter can never do anything wrong. Anup then warns everyone not to mention Jeet’s name anymore and asks the family to focus on the upcoming Mata Jagrata.
Meanwhile, Ridhan has finally decided that he will propose to Soumya during the Jagrata.
Pakhi becomes excited about the idea and wants to arrange a grand, almost royal-style proposal for him. Ridhan, however, does not want anything too elaborate. He wants the moment to be simple, genuine and straight from his heart.
Dadi then shares her own love story with them, but Pakhi and Ridhan quickly realise that following Dadi’s idea could take considerably longer than expected.
Nita comes up with another suggestion.
She tells Ridhan that instead of planning an elaborate proposal, he should write a beautiful poem for Soumya—something that can genuinely touch her heart.
Ridhan learns from Dadu that Sanjiv once wrote a poem for Nita, which gives him the inspiration he needs. Dadi, Pakhi and Nita encourage him to stop delaying his proposal and finally express his feelings before the opportunity slips away.
Elsewhere, Madhu speaks to Soumya about Jeet.
She asks Soumya to forget about him because she does not want any more trouble in the family. Madhu reminds her that Anup has taken a strong stand in her favour, and she should respect her father’s decision.
Nita then gives Soumya a beautiful suit to wear for the Jagrata.
As Soumya gets ready, she continues thinking about Jeet. She feels that Jeet has sacrificed a lot and deserves whatever happiness comes his way. At the same time, she believes she now needs to think about her family and the difficult situation surrounding them.
The preparations for the Jagrata soon hit an unexpected problem.
Sharam informs Anup that the tempo carrying Mata Rani’s idol has suffered a puncture. Everyone becomes worried because the idol needs to reach the venue in time for the Sthapna.
Anup immediately calls the tempo driver and asks him to somehow bring Mata Rani to the venue as quickly as possible.
Meanwhile, Jeet happens to pass by and learns about the problem. He discovers that Mata Rani’s idol is stuck on the way and needs to reach Marphonganj.
As time begins running out, the tension at the Jagrata venue increases.
Sanjiv even suggests that they may have to call off the puja if Mata Rani does not arrive on time. Everyone is worried about the possible consequences.
At the same time, Ridhan is ready with his proposal. He has written the letter for Soumya and is preparing to give it to her.
But just then, Krish notices that Mata Rani is finally arriving.
The lights suddenly come on, and everyone turns to see who has brought the idol.
They are stunned.
Jeet has arrived with Mata Rani.
Soumya immediately feels emotional. She believes that Mata Rani has listened to her prayers and somehow brought Jeet back to the Jagrata.
Roop also learns from Uma that Jeet himself has brought the idol.
The Pandit Ji announces that only two minutes remain for the Sthapna.
Jeet and Ridhan join hands and lift Mata Rani’s idol together. Jeet asks everyone to chant, “Jai Mata Rani!”
The entire atmosphere changes.
Meanwhile, Soumya arrives at the Jagrata wearing a beautiful red dress. Ridhan is visibly surprised when he sees her, clearly impressed by how she looks.
The Sthapna is completed successfully.
Anup tells everyone that Mata Rani has saved their reputation by arriving just in time. However, he immediately turns towards Jeet and asks him to leave the pandal because he does not belong to their locality.
Jeet silently begins walking away.
But Dadi stops him.
She asks Jeet to bow his head so that she can apply Tilak to his forehead. She then tells everyone that perhaps Mata Rani herself wanted Jeet to return to the Jagrata.
Dadi proudly praises Jeet for bringing the idol at the last possible moment and says that the entire locality should be proud of him.
Everyone begins clapping for Jeet.
Nita becomes uncomfortable with the situation and asks Sanjiv to stop what is happening.
Dadi, however, goes one step further.
She gives Jeet the responsibility of serving Bhog alongside Ridhan. She makes it clear that this is not a request but an order.
Everyone is left stunned.
Later, Madhu asks Soumya why she suddenly changed her mind about wearing the salwar kameez. She compliments Soumya and tells her that she looks extremely beautiful.
Soumya looks at herself in the mirror and, perhaps for the first time, genuinely notices her own beauty.
Soon, she notices Jeet and Ridhan serving Bhog.
Dadi deliberately tells Ridhan to keep looking at Soumya after completing the Bhog distribution, making the situation even more interesting.
Soumya, however, feels uncomfortable because she knows her father would not be happy to see her standing close to Jeet.
She quietly joins the Bhog line.
Krish notices her and comments that she looks different today.
Meanwhile, Jeet begins serving Bhog to the girls. Tanya innocently calls him “Jeet bhaiya,” but Pakhi immediately stops her from addressing him that way.
Jeet refuses to serve Pakhi and continues distributing Bhog to everyone else.
Eventually, he reaches Soumya.
Their eyes meet.
Jeet serves Bhog to her, and the moment carries far more emotion than either of them says aloud.
Jeet realises that Soumya has immense faith in Mata Rani. He understands that she genuinely believed Mata Rani would somehow find a way to bring him back to the Jagrata.
Once again, fate seems to be putting Jeet and Soumya in the same place despite everyone trying to keep them apart.
The episode ends with their emotional connection becoming even stronger, while Ridhan’s carefully planned proposal remains hanging in the balance.
Review
This episode cleverly uses the Jagrata to bring Jeet and Soumya together without making their reunion feel completely forced. The arrival of Mata Rani at the last moment gives Jeet’s return an almost symbolic quality, especially because Soumya had been holding onto the belief that her prayers would somehow bring him back.
Dadi is easily the unexpected spark in this episode. Just when Anup is ready to send Jeet away, she turns the entire situation around by publicly honouring him and giving him an important responsibility. Her decision puts Jeet right back in the middle of the family gathering—and, conveniently, right in Soumya’s line of sight too.
Ridhan’s proposal track is also becoming more interesting because the timing could not be more awkward. He has written his heartfelt poem, planned his moment and is ready to confess, while Soumya’s emotional connection with Jeet keeps getting stronger. At this point, Ridhan may have prepared the perfect proposal, but the episode seems to be preparing something completely different.
And that precap takes the conflict to another level. Jeet attacking Roop and getting arrested could finally force Soumya to choose between keeping everyone happy and standing up for what she believes is right. Jeet may be asking her to tell the truth, but telling the truth could cost Soumya far more than she expects.
