Sairaab 26th August 2026 Written Update: Nayanika Decides to Leave, Pregnancy Brings a Major Twist
The episode begins with Ujjaini questioning Nayanika about her relationship with Ishaan. She argues that if there was nothing wrong in their relationship, then how could Angana enter their lives. Ujjaini insists that there must have been some flaw on Nayanika’s side and questions whether Nayanika could ever do what Neil did.
Nayanika questions Ujjaini’s double standards and asks whether Neil can make his own choices simply because he is a man, while she cannot do the same because she is a woman. Ujjaini admits that society looks at men and women differently. Nayanika points out that Ujjaini is also thinking exactly like society.
Ujjaini says Nayanika may be right, but she is also a part of society. She adds that Neil does not matter to her anymore, but Nayanika’s betrayal hurts because she trusted her. Nayanika asks why she cannot make her own decisions.
Ujjaini becomes irritated and asks when Nayanika will finally free her. She says nobody wants Nayanika to stay in the house anymore. Nayanika says she does not care what others think and asks Ujjaini what she actually wants. Ujjaini clearly tells her to leave and suggests that since Ishaan has so much money, Nayanika can simply go to him. Nayanika finally agrees to leave.
Meanwhile, Bishu advises Ishaan to treat everything as a life lesson and move forward. He asks Ishaan to settle down and questions who will look after him once Bishu is no longer around. Ishaan says he no longer knows how to trust anyone and wants to live alone. Bishu asks him not to change himself because of one girl and leaves to serve him food.
The next morning, Ishaan prepares breakfast. Nayanika asks him why he has cooked so much. Ishaan asks her to taste his pasta first, but Nayanika tells him that he has burnt it. They laugh together, and Nayanika hugs him.
However, the happy moment turns out to be Nayanika’s dream. She suddenly realizes that she has missed her period and becomes anxious. She writes about her doubts in her diary and decides to take a pregnancy test. Nayanika wonders whether she could actually be pregnant and leaves for the hospital.
At the canteen, Ujjaini questions Shisho about why he did not call her to the library. Shisho says he forgot. Ujjaini complains that he did not even speak to her in class and is now sitting alone in the canteen.
Shisho tells her that he cannot keep talking to her all the time. Ujjaini feels insulted, but Shisho sarcastically remarks that Ujjaini seems to believe only she has the right to insult people. Ujjaini realizes that he is referring to Nayanika and asks him not to interfere in her family matters.
Shisho makes it clear that he will stay away from Ujjaini’s life as well. He tells her that he does not like the way she behaves with Nayanika and that her actions have changed the way he looks at their relationship. He suggests that they stay away from each other for a few days.
Ujjaini becomes hurt and concludes that Shisho wants to remove her from his life.
Meanwhile, Nayanika meets the doctor and reveals that she has a strong suspicion that she is pregnant. She explains that she took a pregnancy test at home and received a positive result. The doctor also mentions that she has heard the rumours surrounding Nayanika.
Nayanika says that if the pregnancy is confirmed, she will go to Ishaan and tell him the truth.
The episode ends with Nayanika waiting for confirmation of her pregnancy, unaware that this development could completely change her relationship with Ishaan and the entire situation at the Basu house.

Today’s episode brings a major turning point in Nayanika’s story. Her decision to leave the Basu house comes after Ujjaini repeatedly makes her feel unwanted, but the pregnancy revelation changes everything.
The dream sequence involving Ishaan was particularly interesting because it shows that despite all the anger and misunderstandings, Nayanika still has strong feelings for him. Meanwhile, Shisho’s decision to distance himself from Ujjaini could create another major complication in their relationship.
The biggest twist, however, is Nayanika’s positive pregnancy test. If the pregnancy is confirmed, Ishaan’s reaction could completely change the direction of the story.
