Sairaab 27th August 2026 Written Update: Nayanika Learns She Is Pregnant, Ishaan Blocks Her Number
The episode begins with Ishaan performing at his concert. Meanwhile, Nayanika receives her medical report and decides that she must tell Ishaan about her pregnancy. She immediately calls him, but Ishaan does not answer.
Krish notices Nayanika’s repeated calls and shows them to Ishaan. Ishaan deliberately asks him to ignore the calls. Nayanika, unaware of Ishaan’s decision, says that she is pregnant and believes that Ishaan has the right to know about their child.
After the concert, Bishu tells Ishaan that everyone loved his performance. Ishaan then mentions Nayanika’s missed calls. Bishu advises him to stay away from her, insisting that Nayanika is not going to return to him. Ishaan firmly says that he has no intention of speaking to Nayanika again.
Ishaan is still hurt because he feels that Nayanika insulted his true love. Determined to cut all ties with her, he blocks Nayanika’s number.
Shreya Decides Not to Invite Nayanika for Raksha Bandhan
Meanwhile, Shreya discusses the upcoming Raksha Bandhan celebration with her family. She admits that she is nervous about inviting people to their house because of the ongoing family situation.
Indrani reminds everyone that she had already asked Nayanika to leave the house, but Nayanika has still not gone anywhere. Shreya says that Nayanika may have lived comfortably while staying with them, but things will become difficult once she starts living independently.
Rusha points out that Nayanika earns enough money to support herself and can even hire a maid if necessary. Shreya wonders why Nayanika has still not left.
Rusha then questions whether the family would have reacted differently if Nayanika had fallen in love with someone of her own age. Jaya says that if Nayanika had fallen in love when she was young, it would have been understandable, but she finds her current situation strange.
Rusha disagrees and says that there is no fixed age for marriage anymore. She believes Nayanika will eventually leave once she finds a suitable place to live.
Indrani then makes it clear that Nayanika should not be invited for the Raksha Bandhan celebration. Shreya agrees and says she does not want to give the neighbours another reason to gossip about their family.
Jaya asks Shreya about the Rakhi arrangements. Shreya explains that several women from the neighbourhood will visit their home to tie Rakhi and exchange sweets, which she believes will strengthen their relationship with the neighbours.
Rusha taunts Shreya for worrying more about the neighbours than her own family. Shreya replies that Nayanika does not care about them, so she does not see why they should worry about her.
Shreya then reveals that she saw Nayanika vomiting the previous day. Jaya innocently assumes that Nayanika may have fallen sick after eating outside food. Shreya mocks her innocence, while Rusha gets irritated and asks her to stop ruining the atmosphere of the house.
Nayanika Fears the Family’s Reaction
Nayanika eventually enters the house. Indrani questions her about coming home late, while Shreya asks where she had gone. She also mentions seeing Nayanika vomiting the previous day.
Nayanika simply assures them that she is fine and quietly goes inside.
Later, Nayanika looks at her medical report and becomes emotional. She realizes that a storm will erupt once the family learns that she is pregnant. Despite everything that has happened, her only priority is to tell Ishaan the truth.
Meanwhile, Ishaan is unable to sleep. He keeps thinking about Nayanika and eventually tries to unblock her number. However, his anger and hurt take over. He tells himself that he will not call her because he still believes that she deceived him.
The next morning, Nayanika notices Ujjaini sleeping. She becomes emotional and thinks that Ujjaini may never look at her the same way after learning about her pregnancy.
However, Nayanika admits that no matter what happens, nobody can take Ujjaini’s place in her heart. She quietly leaves.

Today’s episode takes the pregnancy track forward while keeping Ishaan and Nayanika emotionally separated. Nayanika’s desperation to tell Ishaan about the baby is heartbreaking, especially because Ishaan has completely shut her out after blocking her number.
The contrast between the two is interesting—Nayanika wants Ishaan to know the truth, while Ishaan is deliberately avoiding even speaking to her. His attempt to unblock her shows that despite his anger, he is still emotionally affected by her.
The family track also builds good suspense. Shreya already noticed Nayanika’s vomiting but has no idea about the real reason behind it. The upcoming Raksha Bandhan celebration could become a turning point for the family.
The biggest moment is clearly the precap. Shreya revealing Nayanika’s pregnancy in front of everyone means the secret may no longer remain a secret for long. The real question now is how Ishaan and the family will react once they discover the truth.
