Sairaab 28th August 2026 Written Update: Nayanika’s Pregnancy Secret Is Exposed, Ishaan Unaware of Her Decision
Today’s episode of Sairaab begins with Shreya talking to Ujjaini about the upcoming Raksha Bandhan celebration. She knows that Ujjaini has not been in a good mood lately, but hopes that the festival might bring some happiness into her life.
Ujjaini, however, is not convinced. She says that she does not think anything can improve her mood because she does not seem to like anything these days.
Shreya then says she cannot believe that Nayanika is hurting Ujjaini and admits that she feels bad for her. She informs Ujjaini that Nayanika left early that day without telling anyone anything.
Ujjaini immediately makes it clear that she does not want to talk about Nayanika.
Shreya asks Ujjaini to get ready for college and says that she will clean the room herself. She then takes a sarcastic dig at Nayanika, remarking that Nayanika does not even clean her own room.
Meanwhile, Nayanika is in tears. Sailee, Saumya and Aparajita arrive and immediately notice that something is wrong. They hug Nayanika and try to comfort her.
Shailee notices a glow on Nayanika’s face and says that the glow of becoming a mother cannot be hidden. Saumya congratulates Nayanika, but the happiness is mixed with Nayanika’s sadness.
Nayanika says it would have been so much better if she could tell the baby’s father about her pregnancy. Instead, she feels completely alone while carrying such a huge secret.
Aparajita immediately reassures her that she is not alone. She tells Nayanika that they are all there for her and that they are each other’s strength.
Shailee asks Nayanika to stop crying and tries to bring some happiness into the emotional moment. Aparajita then takes out a Rakhi from her bag and ties it around Nayanika’s hand.
She promises that they will protect each other.
Shailee also ties a Rakhi on Nayanika’s hand and assures her that they are with her. Saumya follows and ties a Rakhi as well.
The women then feed sweets to one another and exchange gifts with Nayanika. For a brief moment, Nayanika finds comfort in having people around her who genuinely care about her.
However, the situation soon becomes more complicated.
Shreya enters Nayanika’s room and finds her medical report. The discovery immediately makes her suspicious. Shreya decides that she will expose what she believes is Nayanika’s hidden truth in front of everyone.
She decides to call Neil and Angana as well.
Meanwhile, Nayanika is at the hospital, where Sunidhi tells her that she does not look well. Nayanika says that she will be taking leave for two days and asks Sunidhi to arrange another doctor for the upcoming surgeries.
Nayanika then meets Dr. Mansi and confirms the result of her medical report.
The report is positive.
Dr. Mansi asks Nayanika whether she wants to terminate the pregnancy. Nayanika immediately shakes her head.
She then realises that she has accidentally left her medical report at home.
Dr. Mansi tells Nayanika that she is choosing a difficult path. Nayanika, however, is firm about her decision. She says that she wants to bring her child into this world.
Dr. Mansi advises her to speak to Ishaan as soon as possible.
Nayanika reveals that she will go to Mumbai and inform Ishaan herself. She knows that the road ahead may not be easy, but she is prepared to face it alone if necessary.
Back home, Shreya gathers everyone on a call. Neil asks her what has happened.
Shreya tells everyone that she found a medical report in Nayanika’s room and claims that she is worried about Nayanika’s health.
Rusha recalls that Nayanika has been looking pale recently. Indrani immediately scolds Rusha for supporting what she considers an injustice.
Shreya then hands the medical report to Neil.
Neil asks about Ujjaini, and Shreya casually replies that Ujjaini is having breakfast.
Neil initially assumes that the report could be related to Nayanika’s previous health condition. He points out that Nayanika’s chemotherapy is already over, so he thinks the report could simply contain the results of a follow-up test.
He opens the report.
But the moment he reads it, his expression changes.
Neil is left completely shocked.
Indrani asks him what happened. Rusha also becomes worried and asks whether everything is fine. Kaka immediately fears the worst and asks whether Nayanika’s cancer has relapsed.
Neil finally reveals the truth.
Nayanika is pregnant.
Everyone is stunned by the revelation.
Ujjaini, who hears the news, screams in disbelief, “No, I hear this!”
The pregnancy secret that Nayanika had been desperately trying to handle privately is suddenly out in the open.
The episode ends on this major revelation.

Nayanika meets Ishaan and tells him that she kept calling him. Ishaan explains that he was abroad for his concert.
He then asks Nayanika what she is doing in Mumbai.
Nayanika tells him that she left her home and everything behind for him.
Ishaan is left completely shocked by what he hears.
Review
The episode takes a surprisingly emotional route before dropping its biggest bomb. The Raksha Bandhan sequence gives Nayanika exactly what she needs at that moment—people who stand beside her—while her conversation with Dr. Mansi makes it clear that she has already made a life-changing decision.
But Shreya finding the report changes everything.
Neil initially thinks he is looking at another follow-up report, only to discover that Nayanika is pregnant. And Ujjaini’s stunned reaction makes it clear that this revelation is going to shake the entire family.
The bigger question now is Ishaan. Nayanika has already decided to keep the baby and is willing to fight alone, but Ishaan has no idea what she has been going through. That Mumbai meeting could get very emotional, very quickly.
