Seher Hone Ko Hai 28th August 2026 Written Update: Mahid and Seher’s Engagement Takes Shape Amid Property Rumours
Today’s episode of Seher Hone Ko Hai begins with Mahid worrying that Seher might reject his proposal for a proper engagement. Despite his fear, he seeks blessings and remains hopeful that Seher will agree to begin a new chapter with him.
Meanwhile, Seher returns home while thinking about Mahid’s proposal. She clearly has a lot on her mind. However, before she can go inside to meet him, Nazima stops her.
Nazima tells Seher that she is only trying to come to the hospital. Seher then notices Nazima’s wound and checks it carefully. She tells Nazima that the injury is deep and assures her that she will always support her.
Nazima feels guilty for troubling Seher until now. She wishes Seher all the best for her new beginning from the following day.
Afterward, Nazima comes outside and speaks to the servant Razeeda. She tells her that Seher is a good person and that she needs to tell Seher the truth because Seher is already searching for answers.
However, someone notices Nazima at the hospital and immediately informs another person about her presence.
Meanwhile, Mahid visits his mother’s grave. He opens his heart to her and admits that he is afraid of happiness because whenever happiness enters his life, it seems to disappear just as quickly.
Mahid asks his mother and God to protect the happiness he has finally found.
Just then, flower petals fall onto his hand.
Mahid takes it as a sign and tells his mother that he is going to give the ring she once gave him to Seher. He asks her to protect him and bless his relationship.
Mahid then makes an emotional promise. He says that the next time he visits her grave, he will come with Seher and will be happy rather than coming there alone.
The next day, Seher gets ready for the engagement.
Amal notices that Seher did not meet Mahid earlier and asks why she did not simply tell him how she feels.
Seher gives a rather playful answer. She says that Mahid can wonder for a little longer about whether she has accepted his proposal or not.
She then reveals that she actually needs to get ready for the engagement.
Meanwhile, Maulana meets Mahid and tells him about the rumours circulating among people. Some are speculating that Seher is interested in Mahid only because of his property.
Mahid strongly rejects the idea.
He points out that Seher became a doctor through her own efforts. He also reminds Maulana that if Seher had really wanted a luxurious life, she would never have left him seven years ago.
Mahid admits that it bothers him that people continue talking about them behind their backs.
After speaking with Mahid, Maulana leaves.
Mahid is left thinking about the issue. He reflects that he has spent years trying to change people’s perception, yet nothing seems to have changed.
Later, Mahid runs into Amal at her home.
Amal asks Mahid whether he has heard about the latest rumours.
Mahid says that he has and then asks Amal whether she has also heard something.
Soon afterward, Mahid sees that Seher is still not completely ready.
Seher asks him to leave because he cannot see her in her current state.
Mahid is amused by her reaction. He reminds Seher that he has already seen her when she was angry, sad, happy and crying. He says he has seen every side of her, so he does not understand why he cannot see her now.
Seher insists that he can see her after she gets ready.
Amal watches their exchange and starts thinking that Mahid has begun flirting with Seher. She jokingly feels that this is probably not going to end anytime soon and decides to leave them alone.
Mahid then makes another playful comment about Seher before preparing to leave.
But Seher stops him.
Mahid turns toward her and tells her that since she has stopped him, he will have to look at her.
Seher immediately allows him to leave.
The episode ends on this light and romantic note, with their relationship moving closer to the engagement while several unresolved secrets continue waiting in the background.

Review
This episode keeps the romance front and centre, and Mahid and Seher’s playful exchanges are easily the sweetest part. Mahid’s grave scene adds more depth, though, because his happiness is clearly tied to an old fear of losing the people he loves.
At the same time, the property rumours show that their engagement will not be completely smooth sailing. Mahid has spent years trying to change people’s opinions, but apparently gossip has a longer memory than common sense.
And Nazima’s conversation with Razeeda is another important thread. She knows something Seher desperately wants to uncover, while someone else is already keeping an eye on her.
So, romance on the surface, secrets underneath—and with the engagement approaching, that combination is bound to get messy.
