Anupama 29th August 2026 Written Update: Anupama Joshi Wins the Finale as Prem Is Left Heartbroken
Today’s episode of Anupama begins with Anupama hesitating to reveal her judgment about Prem’s thali. She says she does not really want to say anything, but if the judges insist, she is ready.
Manpreet tells Anupama that they want her to explain how she judged Prem’s thali without tasting it. Ustaad Ji also asks her to share her assessment.
Anupama finally judges Prem’s thali.
Prem is visibly offended. He questions how Anupama can judge his food without even tasting it. Roy asks him to remain calm, reminding him that the final decision will be made by the judges.
Manpreet makes the stakes clear. If Anupama’s judgment turns out to be wrong, she will be disqualified and Prem will automatically become the winner.

Rahi notices his heartbreak and becomes worried about him.
Anupama takes the trophy in her hands and remembers Anuj once again.
She says that they have won.
Anupama recalls how Anuj always believed in her and reminds herself of his words—that if she truly wants something, she can achieve it.
The Shahs celebrate her victory as well.
Anupama then calls her entire team onto the stage. Rather than taking all the credit herself, she asks them to hold the prize money and acknowledges their contribution to her success.
Prem continues avoiding Rahi.
Anupama notices Rahi and calls her onto the stage.
Pakhi and Paritosh also join Anupama.
Khyati is delighted by Anupama’s victory.
Rahi walks toward Anupama and hugs her, surprising Prem.
She congratulates Anupama, but soon realises that Prem needs her more at that moment.
Rahi says that it is now time for her to give Prem strength.
Anupama watches them and becomes emotional.
She says that although she has won the competition, a mother has lost today.
She prays to God to take care of Prem.
Meanwhile, Khyati tells Anupama that her dream will soon come true. She says that very soon, they will meet Anupama in her new house.
Anupama asks Khyati to take care of both Rahi and Prem.
Mahi remains stunned by everything happening around her.
Digvijay encourages Anupama to celebrate with the people who are standing beside her. He tells her that time will eventually heal the disappointment of the other team.
Anupama finally allows herself to enjoy the victory.
She returns home with the trophy, but memories of Prem make her emotional again.
Digvijay reminds her that her hard work has finally paid off and asks her to be proud of herself.
He encourages Anupama to dance and celebrate rather than allowing the emotional weight of the finale to take away her happiness.
Anupama joins her team and celebrates.
Jaya affectionately calls her the queen.
The episode ends with Anupama celebrating a victory that means far more than just a trophy.

The finale delivers exactly where it needs to. Anupama winning after correctly judging Prem’s thali without tasting it is a satisfying payoff to the entire taste-bud controversy, and Ustaad Ji’s “overwhelming” remark is a neat little reversal of Prem’s earlier criticism.
But the episode wisely doesn’t turn Anupama’s victory into a simple trophy celebration.
Her remembering Anuj gives the moment emotional weight, while her reaction to Prem’s defeat shows that she has not forgotten the person on the other side of the competition. Her line about winning while a mother loses hits harder than the actual announcement.
And, of course, Paritosh and Pakhi pretending to celebrate because of the prize money provide the obligatory family-side comedy. Some things in the Shah household apparently remain wonderfully predictable.
The biggest takeaway is that Anupama wins without losing her compassion. She gets the trophy, credits her team and celebrates—but still worries about Prem.
That makes this finale feel like an emotional victory, not merely a competitive one.
