Anupama 1st September 2026 Written Update: Anupama Decides To Build Her Own House, Shruti Gives Anuj’s Café To Rahi
Today’s episode takes an emotional turn as Anupama finds herself disappointed by her family’s attitude towards money. While the Shahs argue over their shares of her prize money, Anupama decides that everyone will receive an equal share according to her decision. Meanwhile, Shruti makes a surprising decision regarding Anuj’s café and Rahi’s future.
Anupama Gets Hurt By Her Family’s Behaviour
The episode begins with Digvijay telling Anupama that she cannot keep giving her family the power to hurt her. Anupama, however, feels helpless because these are the very people who repeatedly cause her pain. She watches the Shahs quarrelling over her prize money and realises that money has once again become more important than relationships.
Anupama tells Hasmuk that her family will never understand her because they have not learned the real values taught in the Ramayana, Gita or Upanishads. According to her, they have learned nothing beyond the importance of money. She then makes her decision clear. Everyone will receive an equal share of the prize money, but the final decision belongs only to her. She refuses to allow Paritosh to decide whether Mahi deserves a share.
Hasmuk tries to calm Anupama and tells her not to distribute the money at all. He feels that Paritosh, Pakhi, Mahi and Prerna are young enough to earn for themselves instead of depending on Anupama. Hasmuk even loses his patience with Leela after she changes her stand yet again.
He advises Anupama to use the money to build her own home. He also tells her that she should help Digvijay get his house back.
Digvijay Supports Anupama’s Dream
The discussion soon turns towards Digvijay. Pakhi questions whether he intends to become their father, while Leela wonders whether he plans to stay with the Shah family permanently.
Digvijay makes his position clear. He says he will move into a rented house and will return any money Anupama gives him. He reminds everyone that Anupama helped him fulfil his dream, and now he wants to help her fulfil hers.
Digvijay encourages Anupama to build a house of her own. His words touch Anupama because, at a time when her own family is fighting over her money, Digvijay is thinking about her happiness and independence.
However, the argument over the prize money continues. Pakhi insists that Ishani contributed to Anupama’s success, while Paritosh argues that Kinjal also supported Anupama both in the competition and at home.
Kinjal refuses to claim anything. She even tells Paritosh that if money is all he wants, she can give him a divorce instead. Digvijay immediately asks her not to speak in anger.
Anupama Decides To Take A Loan
Anupama finally decides that she will give everyone their share. But this creates another problem—how will she build her own house afterward?
Ishani points out that Anupama may be left with nothing if she distributes the entire prize money. Anupama calmly says that she will take a loan and manage the EMIs.
Kinjal questions why Anupama wants to take unnecessary financial stress when she already has enough money to build her home. But Anupama remains determined to fulfil her promise to everyone.
The situation becomes more complicated when Mahi reminds Anupama about Rahi and Prem. She fears that Anupama’s decision could indirectly affect them because Shruti has already threatened to close the café if Rahi and Prem lose.
Shruti Confronts Anupama
Shruti then comes face-to-face with Anupama and asks her how she manages to win every time.
Shruti points out that Rahi immediately hugged Anupama after the competition and Prem also defended her. She admits that although Rahi and Anuj had been living with her, their hearts still belonged to Anupama.
Anupama refuses to accept the accusation. She tells Shruti that she never tried to come between her and Anuj.
Meanwhile, Hasmuk becomes furious when Shruti continues questioning Anupama. Digvijay stops him from losing his temper and reminds him that Anupama can handle the situation herself.
Shruti then reveals that she has decided to return to the USA.
Shruti Gives Anuj’s Café To Rahi
Anupama immediately worries about Anuj’s café. She wonders what will happen to the café if Shruti leaves.
But Shruti surprises everyone with her next revelation.
She tells Anupama that she is not closing the café. Instead, she has transferred the café to Rahi’s name.
Anupama is overwhelmed by Shruti’s decision. She hugs her and thanks her for thinking about Rahi’s future. Even Paritosh and Pakhi feel relieved because this means Anupama no longer has to spend her prize money on securing the café for Rahi.
Anupama, however, is more concerned about Shruti. She asks her not to leave and requests her to stay with Rahi and Prem. She wants Shruti to reconsider her decision to return to the USA.

In the precap, Anupama decides to check the papers related to her plot. When the manager asks whether she will be able to understand the lengthy allotment letter, Anupama firmly reminds him that women are often judged before they are even given a chance.
She demands to see the papers instead of allowing anyone to assume that she cannot understand them. Later, Anupama happily shares the news with her family and God that she has booked her plot. As she celebrates this important achievement, she remembers Anuj.
