Mannat 1st September 2026 Written Update: Mannat Spikes Dhairya’s Sweet With Truth Serum, Vikrant Joins Janmashtami Puja
The episode begins with Mannat secretly adding truth serum to the sweets, determined to make Dhairya confess his crimes in front of everyone. Just then, Dhairya arrives, forcing Mannat to quickly hide the serum and pretend that she is busy decorating the cake. She tells Dhairya that she has prepared a special Janmashtami cake for the children as a surprise gift. Dhairya appreciates her efforts and even helps her decorate the cake.
Later, the children help Mannat arrange flowers for the celebration. Mannat silently prays to Lord Krishna to help her expose Dhairya’s truth before everyone. She thinks about how Krishna took birth to destroy Kamsa and hopes that she can finally end Dhairya’s chapter on Janmashtami.
Mannat Gets Vikrant To Join The Puja
The priest announces that the auspicious time for the Janmashtami puja has arrived and asks everyone to begin the rituals. Mannat asks the family members to participate in the puja. Vikrant deliberately stays away from them because he has to maintain his Abhimanyu identity. He pretends that he is not interested in participating in the family’s celebrations.
Mannat performs the aarti of Bal Gopal. Roni invites Vikrant to join them, but Vikrant refuses. He immediately feels guilty for upsetting Roni and thinks about how much he wants to hug his father after Dhairya’s truth is exposed.
Roni becomes upset with Vikrant’s refusal. Dhairya tries to console him and tells Roni that he is also his son. He then pulls the swing of Bal Gopal and asks Mannat to join him. Mannat politely refuses.
Mannat later tells Roni that she wants to invite Vikrant to participate in the celebration. Roni worries that Vikrant may reject her again and says he doesn’t want to see Mannat getting hurt. Mannat assures him that she can convince Vikrant. She reminds Roni that Vikrant has to obey her until the seven-day period is over.
Meanwhile, Dhairya remains confident that Vikrant will no longer be a problem once the seven-day period ends. He believes he will then be able to win Mannat’s heart.
Mannat approaches Vikrant and tells him that a husband and wife have to pull the swing together during the ritual. Vikrant is about to leave, but Mannat signals him to refuse. She then threatens him that she won’t allow him to leave unless he follows her instructions. Vikrant pretends to agree.
He joins Mannat for the puja and pulls the swing with her. Mannat silently prays once again for Krishna’s help in exposing Dhairya.
Mannat Tricks Dhairya Into Eating The Truth Serum
After the puja, Mannat begins distributing sweets among everyone. Bunty quickly snatches one from her hand. Mannat jokingly tells him that it isn’t an ordinary sweet and that she has prepared something special for him.
She then turns her attention towards Dhairya and asks him to eat one of the sweets. Dhairya initially refuses. Mannat cleverly tells him that even Vikrant refused to eat her sweet because he didn’t like it.
Dhairya immediately responds that he doesn’t have any particular taste preference and agrees to eat it. He takes the sweet containing the truth serum and eats it.
Mannat becomes alert and secretly asks the cameraman to focus on Dhairya and record his expressions carefully. She wants every reaction captured because she knows that this could be the moment when Dhairya finally reveals his truth.
However, Mallika notices Mannat’s suspicious behaviour. She becomes doubtful about what Mannat is planning and tells Yashika about it.
Yashika immediately warns Mallika not to interfere in their matters. Mallika senses that Yashika is hiding something from her and questions her indirectly. Yashika remains frightened about getting involved in the family’s problems and advises Mallika to stay away from the situation. Through her acting, Yashika manages to convince Mallika.
Vikrant Notices Dua’s Peacock Costume
Later, Bunty asks Vikrant about his costume. Vikrant makes fun of him, leaving Dua upset. Mannat notices Dua’s disappointment and consoles her.
Vikrant then looks at Dua’s costume and points out that she is missing a peacock feather on her head. Dua is surprised that he noticed such a small detail and immediately becomes happy.
Vikrant gives Dua a peacock feather for her costume. The sweet moment brings a smile to Dua’s face.
The episode ends with Mannat’s plan moving closer to its crucial stage. Dhairya has already consumed the truth serum, and Mannat is now waiting for it to take effect.

In the upcoming episode, the truth serum begins affecting Dhairya while the children perform their Janmashtami drama. Dhairya becomes intoxicated and starts blabbering. Mannat’s plan finally appears to be working as Dhairya begins revealing the truth about his crimes in front of everyone.
