Anupama 9th September 2026 Written Update: Anupama Decides to Send Paritosh and Gautam to Jail
The episode begins with Rahi noticing that Vasundhara is worried. When Rahi asks what is troubling her, Vasundhara finally opens up about her concern regarding Prem and the café.
Vasundhara reminds Rahi that Shruti opened the café and eventually left it in Rahi’s name. She believes this arrangement is affecting Prem because he has invested everything into the café but does not have complete control over it.
Rahi immediately clarifies that she and Prem are not separated.
Vasundhara says that she wants them to stay together too, but she has concerns. Rahi asks her what those concerns are.
Vasundhara Demands the Café Be Given to Prem
Vasundhara tells Rahi that because the café is legally in her name, Prem cannot work there with complete freedom. According to Vasundhara, Prem is constantly working under pressure because he does not have full authority.
Rahi disagrees.
She says that Prem has never complained to her. If he has a problem, he can tell her himself.
But Vasundhara claims that she has observed the situation closely.
She then makes a shocking demand.
Vasundhara asks Rahi to transfer the café into Prem’s name.
Rahi is stunned.
Gautam supports Vasundhara and says that Prem should have the right to make decisions concerning the café. Vasundhara further puts emotional pressure on Rahi, saying that if she truly loves Prem, she should have no hesitation in giving him complete responsibility.
Rahi becomes emotional as she realizes that Vasundhara is questioning her relationship with Prem through the café issue.
Anupama Brings Paritosh Another Surprise
Meanwhile, Anupama continues thinking about her recent interaction with Mantu. She remembers Paritosh previously asking her to eat the snacks Mantu had sent.
Banku and Digvijay notice that Anupama appears lost in thought. Banku decides to find out what is bothering her.
Elsewhere, Hasmuk returns with a large quantity of vegetables. Kinjal helps him and questions Paritosh and Pakhi about watching Hasmuk carry so much by himself.
Paritosh gives a bitter response.
He argues that if Hasmuk could mortgage the house without thinking about them, then they do not need to worry about him carrying vegetables.
Anupama soon arrives home.
She tells Paritosh that she has brought something special for him.
Then she reveals that she met Mantu.
Paritosh immediately becomes anxious.
Mantu’s Snacks Leave Paritosh Nervous
Anupama explains that Mantu had sent snacks this time specifically for Paritosh.
Ansh, Prerna and Kinjal become curious about the snacks. Anupama clarifies that she had eaten the food Mantu previously sent her and later experienced a loss of taste.
She then reveals that Mantu had brought farsan specifically for Paritosh.
Paritosh becomes suspicious himself.
He wonders why Mantu did not give him the snacks directly and why he met Anupama instead.
Anupama insists that Paritosh should eat the farsan.
Paritosh tries to avoid the situation, but Hasmuk and Leela also tell him to eat and finish the matter.
Anupama keeps pushing him until Paritosh finally reveals another part of the truth.
Paritosh Exposes Gautam
Paritosh claims that Gautam had sent the snacks to Anupama on that earlier occasion.
The Shah family immediately turns against Gautam.
But Anupama refuses to let Paritosh escape responsibility.
She questions Paritosh instead.
Paritosh desperately tries to defend himself. He says that he did not know what Gautam had mixed into the food and insists that he is innocent.
However, Hasmuk asks the question that leaves Paritosh cornered.
If Paritosh knew that Gautam had mixed something into the food, why did he still force Anupama to eat it?
Paritosh has no convincing answer.
Anupama Calls Paritosh the Worst Son
Anupama finally loses her patience.
She tells Paritosh that one day she could end up in the news because of him, with a headline saying that a son killed his own mother for money.
She angrily condemns him for risking his mother’s life.
Paritosh, however, continues to dismiss the matter as unnecessary drama.
He asks Anupama to stop making a scene and insists that nothing happened to her.
Kinjal is furious at his lack of remorse. She questions whether Paritosh has learned anything from what he has done.
But Paritosh continues defending himself.
Anupama then makes her decision.
She tells Paritosh that she will take him to the police station.
Hasmuk Gives Anupama His Support
Paritosh asks Anupama to settle the matter instead of taking it further.
This makes Anupama even angrier.
She thinks about Hasmuk and Leela and becomes frightened by the possibility of what Paritosh might do next. If he could put his own mother’s life at risk for money, she wonders what he might eventually do to the elderly members of the family.
Hasmuk immediately tells her not to worry about him or Leela.
He firmly tells Anupama to send Paritosh to jail.
Paritosh then argues that there is no proof that he has committed a crime.
Digvijay points out that proof is required in court to establish guilt. An FIR can still be filed at the police station based on the information available.
Kinjal also insists that Paritosh must face the consequences of his actions.
Anupama is now determined to make sure that he does.
Precap: Anupama Challenges Gautam
The precap takes the confrontation even further.
Paritosh tells Gautam that he should not be the only one facing jail when he believes he has done nothing wrong.
Anupama then confronts Gautam.
She makes it clear that both Gautam and Paritosh will be held accountable.
Anupama challenges Gautam to bring whatever proof he thinks can save them. She confidently declares that she will find the evidence needed to send both of them to jail.
The battle is no longer happening behind closed doors.
Anupama is ready to take the fight directly to Gautam and Paritosh.
Episode Review
This episode gives the Paritosh-Gautam track a much-needed escalation. Paritosh’s attempts to portray himself as innocent become increasingly difficult to accept, especially after Hasmuk questions why he continued to make Anupama eat the food despite knowing something had been mixed into it.
Anupama’s anger is justified within the story because the betrayal comes from her own son. Her decision to involve the police finally moves the storyline beyond repeated family arguments.
The café track also adds an interesting parallel. While Anupama is fighting to protect herself and her family, Rahi is facing pressure from Vasundhara over Prem and the ownership of the café.
The precap promises an even bigger confrontation, with Anupama determined to find proof against both Gautam and Paritosh.
