Bigg Boss 20 12th September 2026 Written Update: Salman Khan Calls Out Aman as Qazi Emerges as the Boss
The first Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss 20 brings plenty of confrontation, entertainment and reality checks. Salman Khan praises the season’s record-breaking opening, addresses the housemates’ constant fights and evaluates their first week of gameplay. While Qazi continues to emerge as a major entertainer, Aman receives a blunt warning from Salman about his lack of contribution.
Salman Khan Welcomes the Contestants
The episode begins with Salman Khan addressing Weekend Ka Vaar.
He thanks the viewers for making Bigg Boss 20 a record-breaking reality show after the season receives massive viewership on its opening day.
Salman also talks about Qazi’s singing and asks the viewers to look at what happened before Qazi entered the house.
Meanwhile, tension is already building inside the house.
Yung, Kanika and the House Duties
Aman notices that boxes are scattered around the house and decides to show them to Yung.
Scout asks Yung to tell everyone to collect and wash their personal utensils after using them.
Yung calls out Kanika.
Kanika tells him that she already knows the rules and does not need to be reminded.
Yung then asks her not to sleep.
Kanika fires back and tells him not to teach her the rules because she has already read them. She says Bigg Boss will sound the alarm when necessary.
Their argument continues as Yung insists that he was not saying anything to her, while Kanika asks him not to interrupt her.
Gullu and Scout Clash
Gullu calls Scout the vice-captain, which immediately leads to an argument.
Scout points out that several contenders are leaving their personal utensils around after using them.
He calls it a matter of upbringing.
Uditi objects to the comment and asks Scout not to bring upbringing into the argument.
Scout understands her point and backs down.
Yung and Asif’s Fight Turns Ugly
Aman questions Yung about why he has not asked Asif to put away his food.
Yung explains that Asif has kept it aside because he plans to eat it later.
Aman says he can simply keep it somewhere else.
Asif responds that there is no space.
Yung tells him to make space.
The discussion soon turns into a heated confrontation between Yung and Asif.
Asif makes a remark about Aman’s body, which makes Aman furious.
Mahhi tries to calm the situation.
However, the argument escalates, with Yung and Asif getting into a major fight.
The other inmates have to intervene and separate them.
Qazi asks Asif not to fight, while Gullu tells Aman to calm down.
Qazi even jumps over the sofa while the fight is happening, seemingly determined not to miss any of the action.
Asif tells Aman not to abuse him.
Aman challenges him to come and hit him.
Uditi and Gullu ask Qazi to relax, while Mahhi questions Aman about why he is provoking the situation.
Salman Questions Kanika’s Game
Salman meets the contestants and begins discussing their first week.
He asks Kanika how she feels about her experience so far.
Kanika admits that she is getting bored because the game has become intense and she misses having fun.
Salman jokingly asks whether she wants Bigg Boss to turn into a comedy show.
He also asks about Yung’s captaincy.
When Kanika says Yung interrupts too much, Salman praises Yung’s handling of the captaincy.
Salman points out that this season has brought together singers, rappers, Bhojpuri actresses, actors and social media influencers.
He sarcastically remarks that everyone is making him proud by fighting and abusing each other.
Salman Turns Qazi Into a Rockstar
Salman asks Qazi to teach him his signature “I am a Rockstar Baby… Ahoo” act.
He then asks the other contestants to perform it.
The winner will receive a special reward.
After watching the performances, Salman declares Yung the winner.
Yung gets the opportunity to have dinner with Qazi.
The contestants are then called to the activity area.
Salman announces that Qazi will perform a special concert for Bigg Boss.
He praises Qazi for not giving up despite the setbacks he faced and asks the other contestants to learn from his determination.
Salman then plays Qazi’s performance.
He later asks Mary to sing a song as well.
Qazi and Yung Face the Housemates
Salman then gives Qazi and Yung a task.
The contestants have to decide which of the two should be muted.
The majority chooses Qazi.
Mahhi, Love, Isha, Amrapali, Asif, Rohed, Scout and Mary vote against Qazi.
Most of them dislike the fact that Qazi stays awake after 3 AM.
Kanika, Aman, Arishfa, Uditi and Rhiti vote for Yung instead.
The voting gives Salman an interesting picture of how the housemates currently perceive both contestants.
Salman Addresses Arishfa and Amrapali
Salman discusses the earlier issue between Arishfa and Amrapali.
He points out that Amrapali had called Arishfa a kid.
Amrapali defends herself.
Salman then asks Arishfa why she was offended by the comment.
Arishfa explains that she is 23 and does not want other contestants to treat her like a child.
Salman tells her that if people consider her a kid, she could simply take advantage of that perception.
Arishfa Gives Her Verdict on the House
Salman asks Arishfa to participate in a rapid-fire style assessment of the contestants.
He asks her who she considers the pampered child of the house.
Arishfa names Kanika, saying she feels Kanika wants attention.
Salman asks whose voice irritates her.
Arishfa chooses Amrapali, saying her voice is loud.
For the biggest gossip, she names Love.
When asked who is easily manipulated, Arishfa names Qazi.
Finally, Salman asks who needs support to establish themselves in the game.
Arishfa names Asif, saying he has not moved beyond his group.
Salman Plays the Boss and Loss Task
Salman then introduces the Boss and Loss task.
Scout starts by calling Yung the boss.
He says Aman looks lost in the game and therefore considers him a major loss.
Yung names Asif as the boss because their vibes match.
He calls Kanika a loss for the game.
Asif chooses Rohed as the boss because he finds him sorted.
Salman points out that Rohed is not particularly visible in the house.
Asif names Aman as the loss, saying Aman tries to remain in everyone’s good books.
Aman defends himself and says he is naturally kind and behaves the same way outside the house.
Salman tells him that his contribution to the game is currently limited.
More Boss and Loss Verdicts
Rohed names Rhiti as the boss.
He again gives Aman the loss tag but apologises because he finds some of Aman’s comments derogatory.
Salman questions why he is apologising.
Mahhi calls Qazi a star.
She says Love started the season with energy but has now become dull and therefore gives her the loss tag.
Salman agrees with Mahhi.
Love defends herself, saying that everyone has entered their comfort zone and that when she leaves, nobody makes jokes the way she does.
Uditi calls Qazi an entertainer and her favourite.
She also names Love as a loss because she does not like her energy.
Aman chooses Qazi as the boss.
He calls Scout a loss because Scout spent much of the week sleeping.
Arishfa also names Qazi as the boss and Love as the loss.
Qazi chooses Arishfa as his boss.
Salman observes that Qazi is behaving much better now.
Qazi gives Amrapali the loss tag.
Rhiti chooses Rohed as the boss.
She admits that she likes Qazi but feels he cuts her off too easily, so she gives him the loss tag.
Amrapali chooses Mary as the boss and becomes emotional while talking about her.
She gives Uditi the loss tag, saying Uditi should take more initiative to communicate and mix with the other contestants.
Salman agrees with Amrapali.
Love chooses Mary as the boss and gives Aman the loss tag because of his comments about people’s faces and physiques.
Mary chooses Amrapali as the boss and gives Asif the loss tag.
Gullu names Isha as the boss because she talks to him.
Salman corrects him and asks him to judge contestants according to their contribution to the show rather than personal interactions.
Gullu then names Qazi as the boss and Scout as the loss.
Isha and Kanika also choose Qazi as the boss and Scout as the loss.
Salman Gives the Final Verdict
After hearing everyone’s opinions, Salman says the contestants’ true perspectives are now out in the open.
He declares Qazi the Boss and Aman the Loss.
Salman says the opinions expressed during the task will change the dynamics of the game.
He then directly questions Aman.
Salman asks him what his problem is.
When Aman asks what he means, Salman explains that Aman claims to have the energy and personality to be a major player, but he is not using the opportunity.
Instead, Salman feels Aman is becoming a side character.
Salman Warns the Contestants to Wake Up
Salman gives everyone an important piece of advice.
He tells the contestants to show their real personalities.
They have been brought into the house because each of them has something unique to offer.
Salman reminds them that everyone has an opportunity to shine.
He asks them to gear up and play the game more strongly from this point onward.
Precap
In the upcoming episode, Salman asks Mahhi and Amrapali to mimic the contestants.
Both decide to imitate Kanika.
Their mimicry promises another round of entertainment and potentially another dose of tension for Kanika.
Episode Review
The first Weekend Ka Vaar does exactly what it should: it tells the contestants where they stand.
Qazi continues to be the most unpredictable entertainer in the house, and the fact that several contestants independently choose him as the boss proves that his presence is already being noticed.
Yung also gets recognition for his captaincy, although his constant clashes with Kanika and Asif are becoming a major part of his game.
The biggest reality check, however, goes to Aman.
Salman’s “side character” observation is brutal but important. Aman clearly has a strong personality, yet according to Salman, he is not converting that personality into memorable gameplay.
The Boss and Loss task also exposes several emerging rivalries — Kanika remains polarising, Love is losing some support, Asif is struggling to break away from his group, and Qazi has become an easy target for several housemates.
With the first week officially over, the contestants now have a choice: continue playing safely or actually step into the spotlight.
Overall Rating: 4.5/5
