Seher Hone Ko Hai 23rd September 2026 Written Update: Mahid Learns Why Seher Agreed to Marry Haider
The episode begins with Mahid noticing that Seher has fallen asleep. He worries that she may hurt herself and tries to wake her up so they can talk.
Seher is not interested in having a conversation with him. She reminds Mahid that Tahir has locked them inside the room and questions why he suddenly wants to spend time talking to her now when he did not want to listen to her earlier.
Mahid tells her that they can discuss everything that has happened recently. He gives Seher an opportunity to clear the misunderstanding between them and asks her directly why she agreed to marry Haider.
Seher tells him that she had genuinely come to share what was in her heart with him. She wanted him to understand her situation, but Mahid refused to believe her. Instead, he called her a liar.
She points out that Mahid is a Mufti and feels that he is unable to understand what she is going through.
Husna Decides to Take Matters Into Her Own Hands
Elsewhere, Husna pays for the necklace she had purchased. She accidentally overhears Tahir and Azad discussing their plan to bring Seher and Mahid closer.
Husna becomes frustrated when she realizes that people are working behind her back to unite the two.
Her problems increase when the inspector contacts her with more bad news. He tells Husna that Haider has threatened to complain about him to his senior officer. The inspector now feels that he has no choice but to release Amal.
Husna is furious.
She tells the inspector that she needs to do something immediately. She realizes that the time has come to make a decision before her plans fall apart completely.
Mahid and Seher Share an Emotional Moment
Back in the room, Seher dreams about Mahid.
In her dream, she wants him to apologize to her and finally listen to her explanation. She is clearly still carrying feelings for him despite everything that has happened between them.
Mahid, meanwhile, tries to open the locked door using Seher’s stitching stick.
Unfortunately, the stick breaks accidentally.
Mahid worries that Seher may misunderstand the incident and assume that he broke it deliberately out of jealousy. He carefully fixes it with glue before sitting beside her.
Seher continues talking in her sleep.
She hugs Mahid and openly expresses her feelings for him while she is still asleep.
Mahid is moved by the moment and hugs her back.
For a brief moment, all the misunderstandings between them seem to disappear.
That peace, though, does not last.
Husna Creates Another Public Drama
Husna hires an elderly man to trick Tahir. The man asks Tahir to drop him somewhere, and Tahir agrees to help.
Husna uses the opportunity to execute another part of her plan.
She sends people to humiliate Mahid and Seher.
The men open the door and immediately start questioning Mahid about what he is doing inside a locked room with an unmarried woman. They accuse him of behaving shamefully and start making insulting remarks about Seher.
Mahid loses his patience.
He confronts them and beats the man who insults Seher. Mahid makes it clear that they have been locked inside the room against their will.
Seher then steps forward and gives them an equally strong response.
She explains that she and Mahid were there to collect evidence against Khalid. She reminds them that the evidence helped send Khalid to jail.
Seher refuses to let the accusations against her go unanswered and gives the men a fitting reply before leaving.
Tahir eventually returns Seher’s phone to her.
The incident leaves Tahir feeling guilty because he realizes that locking Mahid and Seher inside the room gave people an opportunity to question Seher’s character.
Amal Tells Seher About the Police Station
Soon after, Amal calls Seher and tells her that she is at the police station.
Haider speaks to Seher and claims that he has not actually married Amal yet, even though he says he has fulfilled his responsibilities as her husband.
Seher is confused and asks Amal what happened.
Amal explains everything that has taken place.
At the same time, Husna confronts Haider and angrily blames him for ruining her plan.
She threatens him and tells him to cooperate with her. Husna warns that she will not hesitate to plot against him if he gets in her way.
She makes it clear that nobody will be allowed to destroy her plans.
Haider, though, is not ready to back down.
He becomes determined to prove to his mother that he is smarter than her. He strongly believes that he can defeat Mahid in this game and refuses to accept that he has lost control of the situation.
Mahid Finally Understands Seher’s Secret
The damage caused by Husna’s plan continues to affect Mahid and Seher as people keep making insulting remarks about them.
Tahir feels especially guilty.
He realizes that his decision to lock them inside the room is what created the opportunity for people to question Seher’s character.
Mahid, meanwhile, begins looking through Seher’s belongings.
He notices something written in her diary.
The entry reveals that Seher has been struggling to find a way out of Haider’s threats. She has clearly been forced into making decisions because she is trying to protect herself and deal with Haider’s pressure.
Mahid finally understands why Seher agreed to marry Haider.
The realization changes everything.
He now understands that Seher’s decision was not because she wanted to leave him or choose Haider over him. She had her own reasons and was trying to deal with a difficult situation.
Mahid feels grateful to Tahir for indirectly helping him uncover the truth.
He then leaves.
Mahid Calls Seher
Seher eventually returns home and asks Azad about Nazima.
Azad tells her that Nazima is resting.
Just then, Mahid calls Seher.
He orders her to meet him soon.
Seher refuses.
Mahid responds with a threat, making it clear that he wants to see her and discuss what he has discovered.
The episode ends on this tense note, with Seher unaware of how much Mahid now understands about her situation.
Seher Hone Ko Hai Review
This episode finally gives Mahid a glimpse into the truth behind Seher’s decision to marry Haider, and that makes the emotional track much stronger. For so long, Mahid has believed that Seher deliberately chose Haider, while Seher has been carrying the burden of knowing that her decision came from pressure and fear.
The diary discovery is therefore an important turning point. Mahid finally gets the missing piece of the puzzle without Seher having to explain everything herself.
The emotional moment between Mahid and sleeping Seher is also sweet, especially because she says what she truly feels when her guard is down. Of course, the story immediately throws another public humiliation into the mix because apparently these two are not allowed five peaceful minutes together.
Husna remains determined to control everyone around her, while Haider is now developing his own confidence that he can outsmart her and defeat Mahid. That rivalry could become much more interesting if Haider starts acting independently rather than simply following his mother’s plans.
The precap promises another emotional blow. Mahid wants Seher to finally trust him and reveal her problems so he can help her, but Seher appears ready to reject his love. Haider enjoying Mahid’s heartbreak is just another reminder that this love triangle is nowhere near its end.
