This episode finally brings Maya and Saanvi physically into the same space, but the irony is that only one person knows exactly how significant that meeting is.
Maya arrives at the orphanage angry over Saanvi’s behaviour, completely unaware that the young woman she is humiliating is actually her own daughter. That makes the confrontation much more emotional than a simple workplace dispute.
Saanvi’s birthday celebration also adds an interesting contrast. She is happily celebrating with the orphanage children and receiving a dupatta from Matha Ji, while the truth about her birth is standing just outside the door.
Matha Ji’s position is becoming increasingly difficult. She wants to protect both Maya and Saanvi, but keeping such a major truth hidden is becoming almost impossible. Her decision in the precap to finally tell Saanvi the truth changes everything.
The most intriguing part is Raj’s reaction. He knows the truth but wants to keep the past buried because he believes bringing Saanvi into Maya’s life could destroy the happiness Maya currently has.
