Yaadein 26th September 2026 Written Update: Masaan Baba Turns Villagers Against Dev as Johala Chap Challenges Him
The 26th September 2026 episode of Yaadein brings another difficult day for Dev and his family as Masaan Baba continues manipulating the villagers against him. Just when the villagers realise that they have unfairly blamed Dev and decide to apologise, Masaan Baba uses the fear of Mangesh’s ghost to stop them. At home, Shristi and Dev finally find Dhruv, but their family tension continues. The episode ends with Johala Chap openly challenging Dev’s credibility as a doctor and turning the villagers against him.
Masaan Baba Instigates the Villagers Against Dev
The episode begins with Masaan Baba addressing the villagers. He once again tries to turn them against Dev by blaming him for the problems that have occurred in the village.
Masaan Baba tells the villagers that ever since Dev arrived, fights have increased. According to him, Dev’s presence has brought nothing but trouble, and the villagers should ask him to leave.
Mallar refuses to stay quiet.
He takes a stand for Dev and asks the villagers to think about their logic. Mallar gives them an example and asks whether they would ask Malon Ji to leave the village if a fight happened outside his shop.
He then gives another example involving Meena. Mallar asks whether they would ask Meena to leave the village if a problem occurred inside a house because of her.
Meena immediately objects to Mallar’s example. She tells him that if he wants to make a comparison, he should use his own father, Malon Ji, instead of dragging him into the argument.
Mallar responds to Meena and later turns his attention toward Masaan Baba as well.
His questions make the villagers think about the situation differently. They slowly realise that they have been unfairly blaming Dev and his family for every problem.
The villagers decide that they should apologise to Dev and prepare to go to his house.
Masaan Baba Uses Mangesh’s Ghost to Stop Them
Masaan Baba, though, is not ready to let that happen.
He pretends to communicate with Bappa and tells the villagers that something terrible could happen if they go to Dev’s house.
Masaan Baba warns them that if they apologise to Dev, Mangesh’s ghost might return and harm them again.
The villagers immediately become frightened.
Their decision changes, and instead of going to Dev’s house to apologise, they decide to stay away. Once again, Masaan Baba succeeds in controlling them through fear.
The villagers had finally started questioning their own actions, but Masaan Baba finds a way to bring their fear back into the picture.
Shristi Searches for Dhruv
The next morning, Shristi looks for Dev but cannot find him. Dev, Shristi and Jia are also worried about Dhruv.
They begin searching for him throughout the village, going in different directions and asking the villagers whether they have seen him.
Dev eventually tells Shristi that he has already searched near the temple but could not find Dhruv there.
At that moment, Mishri arrives and gives them an important clue.
She tells Dev and Shristi that she saw Dhruv playing with the children near the temple.
Dev and Shristi immediately head there and finally find Dhruv.
Shristi asks Dhruv what he is doing there and reminds him that they have to leave for Mumbai.
Dhruv refuses.
He tells Shristi that he does not want to leave.
Jia is confused by Dhruv’s behaviour and asks Dev why he is refusing to listen to Shristi.
Dev tells Jia that he had spoken to Dhruv the previous night.
Dev Apologises to Dhruv
The episode then reveals what happened between Dev and Dhruv.
Dev had gone to Dhruv and apologised for saying in front of everyone that Dhruv was wrong during the earlier incident.
Dev asks Dhruv not to leave and requests him to give him an opportunity to become a better father.
Rather than forcing Dhruv to accept his apology immediately, Dev leaves after making his request.
The conversation clearly affects Dhruv.
When Shristi tells him that they need to leave, Dhruv explains that he does not want her and Dev to separate because of him.
Shristi tells him that the problems between her and Dev did not begin because of him. Their issues existed long before Dhruv became part of their lives.
Dhruv still does not want to become the reason for their separation.
He tells Shristi that if she has to leave the village, she should leave for some other reason and not because of what happened between him and Dev.
Dhruv then makes an emotional request.
He asks Shristi to stay with him until Jia’s birthday. He tells her that if she leaves now, he will blame himself for the separation between her and Dev.
Shristi finally agrees to stay back because of Dhruv’s insistence.
Jia Also Convinces Shristi to Stay
Later, Jia thanks Dhruv.
Shristi comes to Jia, and Jia also tries to convince her not to leave the village immediately. She asks Shristi to stay until her birthday.
Shristi agrees.
For the moment, the family decides to remain in the village despite everything that has happened.
The decision gives Dhruv some relief, but the larger problems surrounding Dev are far from over.
A Patient Creates Another Problem for Dev
A patient arrives at Dev’s house complaining of a high fever and difficulty breathing.
Dev takes the situation seriously. He tells the patient that some tests need to be conducted and asks him to come to the Kallari Health Centre.
Before Dev can proceed, Johala Chap arrives.
Johala Chap questions Dev about how he plans to test the patient when the Kallari Health Centre does not have the necessary machines or medicines.
He then gives the patient some medicine and asks him to take it.
Dev objects to Johala Chap’s approach.
The disagreement quickly becomes more than a discussion about treatment.
Johala Chap starts commenting on Dev and his abilities, clearly trying to undermine his position in front of the patient.
Johala Chap Challenges Dev Publicly
Johala Chap then makes a phone call and asks all the villagers to gather outside Dev’s house.
He announces that everyone will witness who the real doctor is.
The challenge immediately creates a new threat for Dev.
After everything Dev has already faced because of Masaan Baba’s manipulation, Johala Chap now appears determined to publicly question his credibility and turn the villagers against him.
The episode ends with the villagers being called together, setting up another confrontation.
Yaadein 26th September 2026 Precap
In the precap, Johala Chap continues his campaign against Dev.
He tells the villagers that Dev initially claimed that ghosts did not exist but later admitted that ghosts do exist.
Johala Chap also accuses Dev of worsening Suhasini’s condition.
He uses these claims to convince the villagers that Dev is a fake doctor.
With the villagers already vulnerable to fear and manipulation, Johala Chap’s accusations could create another major crisis for Dev.
Yaadein 26th September 2026 Review
This episode successfully shifts the conflict from Dev versus the villagers to Dev versus the people manipulating the villagers.
Masaan Baba’s track is particularly interesting because the villagers actually realise their mistake after Mallar challenges their logic. For a moment, it looks like they are ready to apologise to Dev. Masaan Baba then simply changes the weapon from blame to fear by bringing Mangesh’s ghost into the conversation. It shows how easily the villagers can be manipulated when they are already frightened.
The Dhruv track brings a softer emotional layer. Dev apologising to Dhruv and asking for another chance as a father is an important step. Dhruv, in turn, shows that he is more worried about Shristi and Dev separating than about his own hurt feelings. His request to stay until Jia’s birthday gives Shristi a reason to postpone the decision.
The final Johala Chap track is where the episode gets more dramatic. Challenging Dev’s medical credibility in front of the entire village gives him a completely new problem. The precap makes it even more serious as Johala Chap starts building the image of Dev as a fake doctor.
The show now has two people working through different routes against Dev: Masaan Baba uses fear and superstition, while Johala Chap attacks Dev’s professional credibility. And with the villagers already confused, Dev has a serious battle ahead.
