The much-awaited wedding track in Bareilly Ke Bacchan takes an unexpected turn as Sangam’s efforts to get Ganga and Aarti together hit a major roadblock. Sangam arrives with the entire family, hoping to settle the old bitterness and formally ask for Aarti’s hand for Ganga. Instead, the family is met with a shocking rejection.
Aarti’s Family Rejects Ganga’s Proposal
Sangam had gone to Aarti’s house with plenty of hope. She genuinely believed that if both families put their old differences aside, Ganga and Aarti could finally get their relationship moving towards marriage.
Krishna, Satluj and the other family members support Sangam and accompany her for the proposal. They even carry the shagun with them, making it clear that they have come with serious intentions.
But Aarti’s parents refuse to even consider the proposal.
They remind Sangam of the bitter history between the two families and question how she could assume that they would marry their daughter into the Bacchan family. The situation quickly turns ugly, with them throwing out the shagun and asking Sangam and her family to leave.
Sangam is left humiliated. She had gone there believing that love and family happiness could finally overcome the old grudges, but Aarti’s parents remain unwilling to forget what happened in the past.
Ganga and Aarti’s Marriage Hits a Roadblock
What makes the situation even more awkward is that Aarti is standing there, but she does not say anything.
Sangam had been convinced that Ganga’s marriage would finally happen. She knows how good Ganga is and genuinely wants him to have someone who will care for him. Her matchmaking plan was never just about getting a wedding arranged; she wanted happiness for her brother-in-law.
But for now, the relationship seems stuck.
The old bitterness between the families has proved stronger than Sangam expected. Her attempt to approach the matter peacefully has ended with a major insult instead of a wedding discussion.
Sangam Gets Caught in Another Mess
Back at home, another unexpected problem starts brewing.
Sangam and the family had gone to a divorce lawyer, only to discover that the lawyer has a connection with Aarti. This information somehow reaches Aarti’s family, and they begin using it against Sangam.
Sangam is even taunted about divorce.
The situation becomes more complicated because there is another practical hurdle: Sangam does not have an Aadhaar card, which creates another problem if anyone actually tries to proceed with the divorce angle.
So while Sangam had gone out trying to fix Ganga’s love life, she returns home with another headache of her own.
Krishna Tries to Impress Sangam
And then comes Krishna’s hilarious attempt to win Sangam’s approval.
Once everyone returns home, Krishna remembers that Sangam likes पूजा-पाठ and decides that he should also start taking it seriously. He gets ready and joins the religious rituals, clearly hoping Sangam will notice his effort.
His reasoning is simple: if Sangam likes a man who is religious, then Krishna will become exactly that man.
Unfortunately, in his excitement to impress her, he seems to forget a few basic things.
Krishna jokes about being educated and having “knowledge without college,” turning the entire situation into another comic moment. His brothers seem to be doing better at understanding Sangam’s preferences than he is.
And that is where Krishna may have some catching up to do.
Review
Sangam deserves credit for genuinely trying to bridge the gap between the two families, but Aarti’s parents have made it clear that the old bitterness is nowhere near over. The rejection is a major setback for Ganga and Aarti, especially after Sangam went all the way with the family and shagun.
At the same time, Krishna’s desperate attempt to impress Sangam adds the lighter touch the episode needs. If he really wants Sangam to notice him, perhaps learning what she actually likes would be a better strategy than blindly copying her preferences.
For now, Ganga and Aarti’s wedding plans are firmly stuck—and Sangam has another family problem to solve.
