Johala Chap Challenges Dev in Front of the Villagers
The episode begins with Dev warning a patient not to take the medicine given to him by Johala Chap. Dev is clearly concerned that the combination of medicines could be dangerous and may create further complications for the patient.
Johala Chap, though, has no intention of backing down.
He calls the villagers together and asks them to come and witness for themselves who the real doctor is.
The villagers arrive at Dev’s house and question Johala Chap about why he has called them there.
Johala Chap confidently tells them that he has already given medicine to the patient and claims that the patient will recover immediately. He asks everyone to wait and see the result.
Dev strongly objects.
He explains that the combination of medicines given to the patient could be harmful. For Dev, this is not about proving who is right. He is concerned about the patient’s safety.
Johala Chap turns the situation into a public contest.
He encourages the villagers to raise slogans in his favour and declare that he is the best doctor while calling Dev a fake doctor.
Johala Chap Uses Suhasini’s Case Against Dev
Johala Chap reminds the villagers of Dev’s earlier treatment of Suhasini.
He claims that Dev gave her medicine and her condition became worse.
He also brings up Dev’s changing views about supernatural events.
Johala Chap reminds everyone that Dev initially said that ghosts did not exist, but later accepted that they were real.

Instead, he tells the patient that if his condition becomes worse or he feels uncomfortable, he should immediately go to a hospital in the city.
The patient agrees and leaves.
Shristi and Jia Stand by Dev
After the villagers leave, Shristi and Jia try to comfort Dev.
Dev makes a comment about the situation, clearly affected by the way the villagers have turned against him.
He then asks Mallar to go and have tea.
Mallar refuses.
He tells Dev that he would rather have tea made by Dev himself, just as he did the previous time.
The simple moment provides Dev with some relief after the humiliation he has faced.
Later, Jia meets Mallar and thanks him for refusing to take the villagers’ side.
Mallar responds with a comment of his own and invites Jia to have tea with him.

Shristi Struggles With Her Feelings
Shristi is lost in thoughts about Dev and fails to notice that the milk on the stove is boiling over.
Dhruv arrives just in time and switches off the stove.
He asks Shristi whether she is upset with him.
Dhruv comforts her before leaving.
Soon after, Dev comes to Shristi.
Shristi deliberately ignores him and continues grinding ginger.
Dev notices her behaviour and asks why she is taking out her anger on the ginger.
Shristi argues with him and makes a comment about his behaviour.
Their conversation becomes tense, but the moment takes an unexpected turn when Shristi accidentally spills the milk.
Dev immediately pulls her away from danger.
After making sure she is safe, Dev thanks Shristi for standing by him when the entire village was against him.
Shristi responds emotionally.
She says that she wishes she could also thank Dev for speaking up whenever something needed to be said.
Shristi then makes her position clear.
She tells Dev that, for her, Dhruv is as important as being a doctor is to Dev.
Her words leave the emotional conflict between them hanging in the air.
Johala Chap Boasts About Humiliating Dev
Johala Chap later meets Masaan Baba and proudly tells him how he humiliated Dev in front of the villagers.
Masaan Baba praises Johala Chap for what he has accomplished and gives him his Prashad.
The alliance between the two continues to strengthen as Johala Chap becomes increasingly confident about challenging Dev’s position in the village.
Masaan Baba then introduces Johala Chap to Suresh Salvey from the District Health Centre.
This introduction soon creates another problem for Dev.
Suresh Investigates the Burnt Medicines
Suresh Salvey approaches Dev to investigate the matter involving the burnt medicine.
Instead of giving Dev the benefit of the doubt, Suresh accuses him of negligence.
He says that Dev’s negligence is the reason the medicines were burnt.
Suresh asks Dev to provide the ashes of the medicine so that a forensic examination can be conducted.
At that moment, Johala Chap arrives.
He immediately takes a dig at Dev and claims that there are no ashes.
Dev refuses to accept the accusation.
He firmly states that the ashes are available and calls Jia.
Jia brings the ashes of the medicine and hands them over to Suresh.
Suresh takes the evidence with him and leaves to conduct the investigation.
The matter is now officially moving toward an investigation, which could either expose the truth or create an even bigger problem for Dev.
Dev Refuses to Give Up on the Health Centre
Later, a painter arrives at Dev’s place to paint the Kallari Health Centre.
The villagers and Johala Chap are surprised.
They question Dev about why he is getting the health centre painted when he cannot even run it properly without medicines.
Their tone makes it clear that they expect Dev’s efforts to fail.
Dev, though, remains confident.
He tells them that the medicines will arrive as well.
The villagers decide to wait and see how Dev manages to bring the medicines back.
For now, they remain sceptical, while Johala Chap appears increasingly confident that Dev’s position is weakening.
The episode ends with Dev refusing to back down despite the pressure surrounding him.
Precap: Dev Is Ready to Answer Johala Chap
The upcoming episode promises a direct confrontation.
Dev gives Johala Chap a befitting reply, suggesting that he is finally ready to challenge the narrative being created against him.
Review
This episode continues to build the Dev versus Johala Chap conflict effectively. Johala Chap is no longer simply opposing Dev privately; he is deliberately using the villagers to weaken Dev’s credibility.
The interesting part is that Dev does not respond by turning the situation into another shouting match. His concern remains the patient’s health, and his warning to visit the city hospital if anything goes wrong shows where his priorities lie.
Shristi’s scenes add a completely different emotional layer. She supports Dev when everyone else turns against him, yet she also makes it clear that Dhruv holds an equally important place in her life. That makes her interaction with Dev more complicated than a simple moment of support.
The burnt-medicine investigation is another important development. Suresh taking the ashes for forensic testing means the accusations against Dev may finally face some evidence-based scrutiny.
And then there is the health centre. Dev getting it painted despite having no medicines is almost a quiet declaration that he is not planning to abandon his mission just because Johala Chap has turned the villagers against him.
Now the precap promises Dev’s response. After spending the episode being publicly attacked, it is time for Johala Chap to hear an answer from the doctor he has been trying so hard to discredit.
