Bigg Boss 20 29th September 2026 Written Update: Yung Avoids Love as Mahhi and Uditi Become Captaincy Contenders
The latest episode of Bigg Boss 20 begins with Day 24 inside the house, and the morning itself brings plenty of awkward conversations, misunderstandings and shifting equations. Yung, Love, Scout and the others find themselves caught in a few uncomfortable moments, while the captaincy contender task later turns the atmosphere much more competitive.
Yung, Amrapali and Scout Discuss Love
The day begins with Yung and Amrapali noticing Scout’s new look. They ask him why he has shaved, and Scout confidently says that he is trying to look younger. Amrapali is quick to tease him, reminding him that he is certainly not a kid anymore.
Yung is already irritated over Love cancelling the music video offer and also waking up the other boys in his group. While talking to Aasif and Scout, Yung feels that Love may change her strategy as the game progresses. He believes her behaviour could be very different in the coming days.
Love hears the discussion and asks Yung not to comment about her. Yung immediately says that he is not actually commenting on her.
The tension remains noticeable as Yung wishes Amrapali and Mary, while deliberately ignoring Love. Love notices the cold behaviour.
Aasif later speaks to the camera and admits that he cannot understand how some housemates manage to start discussing other people so early in the morning. According to him, he simply does not have the energy to indulge in such conversations immediately after waking up.
Qazi, Yung and Scout get into a discussion about innerwear. Amrapali gets irritated with the topic and tells the boys to continue their conversation outside because she has absolutely no interest in discussing innerwear.
The conversation takes another turn when Yung and Scout make comments about Love dancing on Gullu’s body. Love takes offence to the remarks. Yung realizes that his comments have upset her and apologizes.
He tells Love that he will not joke about her or make such comments again. Yung also decides that he will simply avoid joking with her altogether.
Amrapali points out that Yung cannot keep making comments with double meanings and then expect Love not to react. She also tells Love that if she is getting offended by everything, she needs to stop engaging in the conversation.
At the same time, Amrapali strongly scolds Yung for continuing to comment about Love even after realizing that she was uncomfortable.
Elsewhere, Gullu confronts Mahhi about hiding milk. Mahhi defends herself and refuses to accept the accusation.
Yung Decides to Stay Away From Love
The awkwardness between Yung and Love continues. Yung starts deliberately avoiding her, which leaves Love hurt.
Amrapali feels that Love is still thinking about Yung’s earlier comments and has not been able to move past the incident.
Yung tells Amrapali that he has decided never to crack a joke with Love again. His decision is less about anger and more about avoiding another misunderstanding.
At another point, Yung becomes uncomfortable seeing Gullu hug Love. His growing irritation makes him decide even more firmly that keeping his distance from Love is the safest option for him.
The shifting equation between the two becomes one of the noticeable emotional threads of the episode.
Qazi and Rhiti Try to Clear the Air
Qazi and Rhiti decide to sort out their misunderstanding and speak to each other. Their attempt to clear things up does not impress everyone.
Mahhi and Aman are visibly unhappy about Qazi talking to Rhiti. Mahhi feels that Qazi keeps looking for new people to talk to and influence.
She tells Aman that there are plenty of people like that in Delhi, suggesting that she does not completely trust Qazi’s intentions.
Yung also opens up to Amrapali and admits that he is beginning to have trust issues. Although he does not openly name Love, his comments clearly hint that their recent situation is bothering him.
Gullu and Kanika later discuss Mahhi’s position in the house. They feel that Mahhi seems to be moving between both groups, making it difficult for them to understand exactly where she stands.
Bigg Boss Announces the Ration and Captaincy Task
The game finally shifts into full competition mode when Bigg Boss announces the ration task, which will also decide the captaincy contenders.
Bigg Boss explains that the task will be conducted in pairs. The housemates now have to balance their fight for ration with their attempts to secure a place in the captaincy race.
Rhiti and Love are paired against Mary and Kanika in the first round.
Before the task begins, Uditi makes her position clear to Aman. She says she is not interested in simply playing to save the ration. She wants to see who actually deserves to become a captaincy contender.
The task quickly becomes competitive.
Kanika gets irritated when Qazi interrupts during the proceedings. Rhiti, Love, Kanika and Mary continue competing while the housemates closely watch the outcome.
Eventually, Rhiti and Love emerge victorious and secure their place as captaincy contenders.
The second round brings Amrapali, Arishfa, Uditi and Mahhi into the competition.
The rivalry becomes more heated during this round, particularly between Uditi and Scout. A verbal argument breaks out between the two, adding another layer of tension to an already competitive task.
Mahhi and Uditi eventually secure their place as captaincy contenders.
Bigg Boss then announces the final lineup. Love, Rhiti, Mahhi and Uditi will compete in the final stage.
The final contest determines the captaincy contenders after the housemates battle it out through the ration task. Mahhi and Uditi emerge ahead of Love and Rhiti and secure their positions as captaincy contenders.
The result gives Mahhi and Uditi a major opportunity to move forward in the captaincy race.
Scout and Aman Clash
The task does not end peacefully.
A major argument erupts between Scout and Aman inside the house. What starts as a disagreement over the game quickly turns into a heated confrontation.
The growing tension shows how seriously the housemates are beginning to take the captaincy and ration tasks. With alliances changing and people questioning each other’s loyalties, even smaller disagreements are becoming bigger conflicts.
Mahhi also speaks to Qazi about Gullu and Kanika. She feels that the two keep changing sides and are difficult to read.
The house is clearly becoming divided into shifting groups, with several contestants no longer certain about who they can trust.

This episode does a good job of mixing personal equations with the competitive side of the game. Yung and Love’s awkwardness gets enough attention to show how quickly a simple joke can turn into a trust issue inside the Bigg Boss house.
The captaincy task is where the episode really picks up. Mahhi and Uditi emerging as contenders changes the power dynamics, while the Scout-Aman confrontation adds another layer of conflict.
The most interesting part is the uncertainty around loyalties. Mahhi questioning Gullu and Kanika, Yung talking about trust issues and Qazi trying to sort things out with Rhiti all suggest that the house is becoming increasingly difficult to navigate.
And with Gullu potentially getting another shot at captaincy in the next episode, the housemates clearly aren’t ready to let the matter rest.
