Yaadein 29th September 2026 Written Update: Dev Gets Medicines for Kallari Health Centre as Shristi Helps Him
The latest episode of Yaadein begins with the villagers once again turning the Kallari Health Centre into their personal resource centre. What starts with someone wanting paint for a table soon turns into a complete mess involving Malon Ji, phenyl and an entire bucket of paint. Amid all the chaos, Dev faces another major problem when Johala Chap challenges him to arrange medicines for the health centre.
Just when things look impossible, Shristi steps in and helps Dev in an unexpected way. Her gesture also brings Dev and Shristi into another awkward emotional moment.
The Villagers Take the Health Centre’s Paint
The episode starts with Mishri bringing a table and asking a painter to paint it. The painter agrees to help her, but soon Malon Ji and Pushkar also arrive with their belongings and ask the painter to paint them.
Jia immediately points out that the paint is meant for public property and cannot simply be used by the villagers for their personal things. The villagers, though, are in no mood to listen.
Dev also makes it clear that the paint belongs to the Kallari Health Centre and cannot be taken away.
Malon Ji refuses to back down. He tells Dev to hand over the paint, warning that otherwise he will simply take the entire bucket.
Dev grabs the bucket from one side while Malon Ji pulls it from the other. Their tug-of-war ends exactly as one would expect.
The handle breaks, sending the entire bucket of paint crashing down on Malon Ji.
Vandana later arrives at the Kallari Health Centre and is shocked when she sees the paint-covered Malon Ji. She initially struggles to recognize him before realizing who he actually is.
The health centre’s supplies continue to become a source of conflict.
Vandana Wants Phenyl for Her House
Vandana asks Jia for a small cup of phenyl. She explains that she wants to mix it with water to clean her house.
Jia agrees and leaves to get it.
Vandana attempts to take phenyl from the bottle herself, but Dev tries to stop her. Vandana immediately questions how he can touch a woman and makes a remark about his behaviour.
Shristi steps in and reminds Vandana that she is also a woman and can stop her.
Vandana asks Shristi to give her a cup of phenyl, but Shristi refuses. She explains that the phenyl belongs to the Kallari Health Centre and cannot be taken for personal use.
Vandana argues with her, unwilling to accept the explanation.
Jia soon returns with the phenyl she has taken from her own house. Before she can reach the health centre, Mallar sees her and becomes alarmed. He asks Jia whether she is trying to commit suicide.
Jia makes it clear that she is not doing anything of the sort. She explains that she is taking phenyl to the Kallari Health Centre because she wants to make sure the centre’s own supply is not misused.
She throws a sarcastic comment at Mallar and leaves.
When Jia reaches the health centre, she tells Vandana to use the phenyl because this particular supply comes from her house, not the Kallari Health Centre.
Vandana takes offence. She asks whether everyone is making fun of her poverty by giving her so much phenyl when she only requested a small cup.
The argument escalates and the phenyl bottle eventually breaks.
Dev loses patience with the villagers and again reminds them that the supplies kept at the Kallari Health Centre are not meant for personal use.
Johala Chap Gives Dev a Challenge
The situation takes a more serious turn when Johala Chap approaches Dev.
He points out that there are still no medicines available at the Kallari Health Centre. Since the centre is effectively empty, he suggests that they might as well use the place to play cards.
Johala Chap then hands Dev a list containing 317 medicines that are required to properly operate the health centre.
He gives Dev a clear challenge: if Dev can arrange all the medicines, he can run the Kallari Health Centre. If he cannot, Johala Chap will use the centre for playing cards.
Dev takes the matter seriously.
Soon, he receives a call from the district health centre. The news is disappointing. He is informed that the required medicines will not arrive for another three months.
Dev is visibly upset. Waiting three months would make it impossible to properly start the health centre and would give the villagers another reason to doubt whether the project can succeed.
Just when the situation seems hopeless, a medicine delivery unexpectedly arrives at the Kallari Health Centre.
Everyone is surprised.
Johala Chap immediately questions Dev about how the medicines have arrived when the district health centre had clearly said that the supply would take three months.
Shristi Comes Through for Dev
Shristi reveals that she found another solution.
She contacted the medicine factory directly and explained that Dev urgently needed the medicines for the Kallari Health Centre.
The factory agreed to send the medicines for free because Dev has a strong reputation in the medical field.
Shristi praises Dev for earning that respect through his work as a doctor.
Her efforts leave Dev touched.
The villagers eventually leave, and Dev thanks Shristi for what she has done.
Shristi immediately clarifies that she did not do it for Dev personally. She did it for Dr Dev.
She admits that he might be a khadoos father, but as a doctor, she knows that he is good at what he does.
Her words clearly mean a lot to Dev.
Jia notices the situation and advises Dev to thank Shristi in a way that will genuinely make her happy.
Dev agrees to take her advice.
Dev Tries to Make Shristi Smile
When Shristi comes out of the house, she is surprised to find plants placed all around it.
Dev watches her reaction and tells her to keep smiling like that because she looks good when she smiles.
Shristi immediately questions his statement and asks whether he means she does not look good otherwise.
Dev realizes that his words have been misunderstood and quickly clarifies that he did not mean it that way.
Shristi then asks him why he has done all this.
Dev honestly explains that Jia advised him to do something that would make Shristi happy. He says he simply wanted to thank her for helping him arrange the medicines.
Shristi, true to her nature, refuses to let the moment become too sentimental.
She takes Dev’s phone, sends a thank-you email to herself and declares that they are now even.
Dev is left surprised by her reaction.
He asks Shristi whether she is really so particular that she cannot even give their relationship a chance. He questions why she is being so strict about something as small as a thank-you.
Shristi responds to him, and the conversation becomes tense.
Dev holds her hand, but Shristi asks him to leave it.
The episode ends on this uncomfortable note, leaving their relationship hanging between gratitude, hesitation and unresolved feelings.
Yaadein 29th September 2026 Review
This episode manages to balance the lighter village chaos with the more important Kallari Health Centre storyline. The paint and phenyl drama is pure village-level mayhem, especially when an entire bucket ends up on Malon Ji.
The stronger part of the episode comes with the 317 medicines challenge. Dev is finally given a concrete obstacle to prove that the health centre can actually function, and the sudden arrival of the medicines gives the track some much-needed momentum.
Shristi helping Dev is also significant because she does not do it simply to impress him. Her respect for Dr Dev is separate from her complicated feelings about Dev as a father and as someone who wants a relationship with her.
And Dev trying to thank her with plants is sweet until Shristi turns it into a formal email transaction! Apparently, romance now needs documentation and an audit trail.
The final exchange leaves their relationship in an interesting place, especially with Shristi refusing to make things easy for him.
