Bareilly Ke Bacchan 2nd October 2026 Written Update: Sangam Plans Ganga’s Marriage as Jyoti Gets Bored
The 2nd October episode of Bareilly Ke Bacchan brings Ganga and Jyoti one step closer to deciding their future, but their first proper conversation turns into an unexpectedly funny disaster. While the family enjoys Krishna’s cooking drama at home, Sangam also reveals that she plans to leave the Bacchan family once Ganga gets married.
Ganga and Jyoti Get Time to Know Each Other
The episode begins with Brijesh suggesting that Ganga and Jyoti should be given some privacy so they can talk and understand each other better. Sangam and Ajab agree with his suggestion, and Ganga and Jyoti step away from the families to have their conversation.
Brijesh then asks Ajab to have something to eat. Ajab agrees, but Brijesh’s wife makes an interesting observation. She says that ever since the Bacchan family entered their house, she has been noticing a very pleasant fragrance.
The Bacchan family immediately remembers the car freshener that they had placed near Ajab earlier. Their little trick seems to have worked perfectly.
Away from the family, Jyoti starts asking Ganga simple questions. She asks whether he enjoys watching movies. Ganga honestly says that he does not.
She then asks if he likes listening to music. Ganga replies that he likes listening to bhajans.
Jyoti finds his nature quite different and calls him decent and simple. Their conversation gives both of them a chance to understand each other’s personalities before they make any decision about the alliance.
Later, Ganga and Jyoti return to their families.
Brijesh suggests that they should give the two of them a few days to talk before making a final decision. Sangam agrees with the idea. The Bacchan family then takes their leave and returns home.
Krishna Takes Credit for Chinese Food
At night, Krishna arrives with Chinese noodles for the family and starts serving everyone.
Sangam immediately teases him. She points out that Krishna merely bought the food but is behaving as though he personally prepared it.
Krishna confidently claims that he can prepare all kinds of food and asks Sangam what she would like him to make.
Sangam throws the challenge right back at him and asks who would actually be willing to eat food prepared by him.
Mahi, Satluj and Ajab immediately refuse.
Ganga, though, agrees to eat Krishna’s food.
Krishna is delighted and declares that Ganga is the best. The family gets another dose of their usual teasing and banter.
The light-hearted moment is interrupted when Ganga receives a phone call.
Sangam assumes that it might be Jyoti. Krishna checks the number and confirms that it is indeed her.
Sangam encourages Ganga to talk to Jyoti, and he moves aside to answer the call.
Ganga Turns a Romantic Conversation Into a Cooking Lecture
Ganga is completely clueless about how he is supposed to talk to Jyoti.
Instead of trying to make conversation himself, he tells her to ask him questions and promises that he will answer them.
Jyoti agrees.
Things seem fine at first, but Ganga soon takes the conversation in a completely unexpected direction. He starts talking about cooking and eventually gives Jyoti a full lecture about it.
The Bacchan family listens in from a distance, and Ajab cannot believe what he is hearing.

Later, the Bacchan brothers come up with another unusual idea for Sangam.
They bring a fridge into her room and suggest that she can use it as a cupboard. Sangam likes their clever hack and praises them for coming up with such a practical solution.
The brothers leave after setting it up, giving the family another amusing moment amid all the marriage discussions.
Sangam Reveals Her Plan to Hema
Sangam then receives a call from Hema.
During their conversation, Hema learns that Sangam has been helping the family search for a suitable marriage alliance for Ganga.
Hema questions Sangam about why she has taken responsibility for getting Ganga married.
Sangam explains that the Bacchan family helped her when she needed them. Now she feels that it is her turn to return the favour. Helping Ganga settle down is her way of repaying the family’s kindness.
