The 5th October 2026 episode of Shayad Yahi Hai Pyaar brings Gaurav and Preeti’s relationship to a painful breaking point as Aarav sets a trap to expose Gaurav. What begins with Aarav pretending to faint eventually leads Preeti straight to the truth about Gaurav and Shanaya.
Aarav Makes a Plan to Help Preeti
The episode begins with Monty and Preeti taking an unconscious Aarav to the medical room. Monty follows Aarav’s plan exactly.
Once they reach the doctor’s room, Aarav sends the doctor away, insisting that he is fine and that he only fainted because of the hot weather.
He then apologises to Preeti for hurting her. Preeti forgives him.

Later, Kaira asks Aarav whether he is fine. Aarav assures her that he is and asks her to book two tables at a pub that is opening that day. Kaira agrees, revealing that the pub belongs to her friend.
Monty asks Aarav how he plans to save Preeti from Gaurav.

Aarav Sets a Trap for Gaurav
Aarav receives tickets from Xploads Club. He creates an account and deliberately invites Shanaya and Gaurav to the club.
His plan is to bring Sandy and Preeti to the same place so that Gaurav’s truth can finally come out in front of everyone.
Aarav thanks Kaira for helping him.
Gaurav and Shanaya arrive at the club. Shanaya goes to the washroom, while Preeti and Sandy are also present at the same venue.

According to Gaurav, Shanaya is his love now, not Preeti.
Gaurav Humiliates Preeti
Shanaya comforts Gaurav and tells Preeti to leave.
Preeti refuses to accept what she is hearing. She asks Gaurav why he agreed to go on the Manali trip with her if he had already moved on.
Gaurav lies that he had already broken up with her and had never actually planned the trip.
Sandy and Kaira feel terrible seeing Preeti being humiliated.
Preeti asks Gaurav whether he simply became bored with her after getting into a relationship with Shanaya.

Aarav’s plan works perfectly. He does not need to make a dramatic accusation against Gaurav because he simply creates a situation where Gaurav exposes himself.
Gaurav’s excuses are particularly frustrating. Instead of admitting that he moved on or accepting responsibility for cheating, he shifts the blame onto Preeti and rewrites their entire three-year relationship.
The biggest relief comes at the end when Aarav catches Preeti. After watching her get humiliated, seeing Aarav arrive at the right moment gives the episode a satisfying emotional beat.
Now the real question is whether Preeti will finally see Gaurav for who he is — and whether Aarav will become the person standing beside her when she needs him most.
