Bigg Boss 20 8th October 2026 Written Update: Love Gill Faces Housemates’ Anger as Ration Task Sparks a Major Fight

The episode begins with Day 32 inside the Bigg Boss house, and the atmosphere quickly turns interesting as Gullu and Qazi start copying Yung’s unique communication style. Gullu even flirts with Love while imitating Yung, leaving everyone entertained.

Yung later tells Scout that Amrapali and Love have become emotionally connected to each other, and their equations seem to work both ways. The two then confront Love about her relationships inside the house.

Love explains that she shares different equations with different housemates and does not see anything unusual about it. Scout says Love reminds him of his girlfriend in certain ways. Yung keeps adding his comments to the conversation.

Scout eventually admits that he feels comfortable around both Yung and Love, but the discussion soon takes an awkward turn.

Love and Scout Face a Misunderstanding

Yung gives Love a side hug, and Scout immediately reacts. He asks Love and Yung not to get involved in what he calls physical drama.

Amrapali also tells Yung and Love that they should avoid getting excessively close to each other. Scout appears hurt by the situation.

Yung tries to make it clear that Love is only his friend. Scout explains that his concern is not necessarily about their friendship. He says that if Love and Yung get physically close while fighting or joking around, both of them could end up getting hurt, and the situation could also look unpleasant to viewers outside the house.

Yung asks Scout to clarify exactly what he means.

Love then confronts Scout and asks him directly about his comments. Scout refuses to discuss the matter further.

Love points out that Scout has always considered her like a sister, while Yung considers her a friend. She questions why Scout should have a problem with their equation.

Scout says he will never interfere with whatever Love and Yung choose to do.

Amrapali asks what exactly happened, and Love discusses the situation with her. Scout becomes irritated and asks everyone not to discuss him or his personal equation.

Amrapali then makes another point. She says that Yung and Scout both have partners outside the house, and their respective partners could feel uncomfortable watching them become too physically close to other people.

Her comment clearly affects the conversation, and Yung decides that he will stop sitting too close to Love.

Yung and Scout Clear Their Misunderstanding

Yung later asks Scout what exactly he did wrong. Scout explains his perspective by putting the situation in reverse.

He asks Yung whether his girlfriend would be comfortable watching him sit close to another woman and hug her. He then asks Yung to imagine seeing his own girlfriend in a similar situation with another man and whether he would genuinely be fine with it.

Yung admits that he would not like it.

Scout explains that such footage could eventually be edited into a reel or video and create the wrong impression outside the house. His concern is therefore not about controlling Yung or Love, but about how their actions could be interpreted.

Yung becomes offended by Scout’s words, believing that Scout has unnecessarily dragged his relationship into the discussion.

At the same time, Amrapali speaks to Love and asks why she is so particular about maintaining her self-respect when Yung becomes physically close to her. She points out that Love also feels hurt when Yung distances himself from her.

Love understands what Amrapali is trying to tell her.

Yung then admits that Scout’s comments could also cause problems for him outside the house because his girlfriend might misunderstand the situation.

The tension eventually settles as both Yung and Scout apologise to each other and clear the misunderstanding.

Bigg Boss Announces the Ration Task

The housemates then receive their next major task.

Bigg Boss explains that one captaincy contender will become a thief, and the housemates will have the opportunity to steal ration for that contender. The contestant who gives the thief more ration will receive a special power.

The task immediately creates a dilemma because the housemates have to choose between helping someone gain an advantage and protecting the house’s food supply.

Yung gets his turn first and performs the task.

Mary expresses her concern that if everyone starts stealing ration simply to gain power, there may eventually be nothing left for the housemates themselves.

After the first round, Yung submits the ration he has stolen.

Mahhi points out that the initial contenders may benefit more because once the housemates realise how much ration is being lost, the later participants could become more conservative and sacrifice less for the task.

Bigg Boss then reveals something interesting to Kanika. He tells her that the almond milk she regularly uses has also been stolen as part of the task.

Kanika says she does not need much and only wants rice and flour apart from her luxury items.

Aasif then gets his opportunity.

He steals a large quantity of items, but clarifies that he has avoided taking the essential items required by the house.

Finally, Love gets her turn.

She chooses to sacrifice most of the available ration for the sake of the house rather than blindly stealing everything she can.

That decision, though, does not go down well with several housemates.

Kanika Mann and Love Gill Clash Over Ration

A major argument erupts after Love completes her turn.

Arishfa and Kanika confront her over the decision to sacrifice so much ration. They believe Love should have considered the consequences for the entire house instead of looking at the task purely as a captaincy opportunity.

Love remains firm and says she was simply performing the task according to the rules given by Bigg Boss.

Kanika argues that the task was also about the ration of the entire house, so Love should have thought about the other inmates before making her decision.

Love refuses to change her stance.

The disagreement soon becomes a larger group conflict. Kanika, Mahhi, Arishfa and Uditi all oppose Love’s decision.

Scout, on the other hand, supports Love and says that she did what she was supposed to do according to the rules of the task.

Yung also tells Love that she played the task smartly.

The house is now clearly divided over whether Love made the right strategic move or sacrificed too much of the ration.

Mary Makes a Shocking Confession

Amid all the arguments, Mary opens up to Kanika and Gullu about her experience inside the house.

She tells them that the other group stops her from talking to other housemates and also taunts her.

Kanika and Gullu are visibly shocked by Mary’s revelation.

Her confession adds another emotional layer to the episode, especially as tensions between different groups inside the house continue to rise.

The day eventually takes a lighter turn when Kanika celebrates her birthday with Gullu, Aman and Aasif.

The birthday celebration provides a brief break from the constant arguments and strategy discussions before the episode comes to an end.

Bigg Boss 20 8th October 2026 Review

The episode has a nice mix of personal equations, emotional misunderstandings and proper Bigg Boss-style ration politics. The Love–Scout–Yung situation could easily have turned into a bigger conflict, but the three eventually manage to explain their positions and move forward.

The ration task is where the episode really finds its spark. Love’s decision becomes controversial because she follows her understanding of the task while several housemates look at it from the perspective of the entire house’s food supply. Kanika, in particular, is not ready to let the matter go quietly.

And that is exactly where Bigg Boss knows how to create drama: give contestants a choice between personal advantage and collective survival, then sit back and watch the friendships get tested.

Mary’s confession is another moment worth watching because it suggests that the house has deeper group politics brewing beneath the surface.

The precap raises the stakes even further. Love gets the power to decide the next captain, and Kanika is already arguing with her over the decision. Love says she wants someone who is fair, but in Bigg Boss, the word “fair” can become very controversial very quickly.
