Yaadein 8th October 2026 Written Update: Dev Faces a 15-Day Medical License Challenge as Masaan Baba Turns the Village Against Him

The episode begins with the medical board staff delivering a shocking ultimatum to Dev. They inform him that he has been given only 15 days to treat 50 patients and maintain proper documentation of every case. If Dev fails to complete the target within the given time, his medical license will be revoked.

Dev is furious and argues with the medical board officials. He questions why such a harsh condition has been imposed on him and tries to reason with them. The officials make it clear that they are simply enforcing the rules and have not personally created these conditions. With nothing more to add, they leave.

Dev is left staring at the impossible task ahead of him. Treating 50 patients in just 15 days is difficult enough, but the situation in the village makes the challenge even more complicated.

Devayani Warns Dev About the Consequences

Devayani soon calls Shristi and asks whether Dev has received the register. She makes her intentions very clear and tells Shristi to inform Dev that he has gone against her and must now face the consequences of his actions.

Dev takes the phone from Shristi and directly confronts Devayani. He tells her that no matter how hard she tries to bring him down, she will eventually lose. Devayani responds with another cutting remark aimed at him, but Dev refuses to continue the argument and ends the call.

Once the conversation is over, Dev turns to Shristi and asks how they are going to solve the problem. The pressure is clearly beginning to get to him.

Jia tries to lift his spirits. She encourages Dev and reminds him that he is capable of completing the task. Her confidence gives Dev some emotional support, even though the challenge ahead remains enormous.

Villagers Learn About Dev’s 15-Day Deadline

Outside, the medical board staff are stopped by the villagers. Everyone wants to know what happened during their meeting with Dev.

The officials initially refuse to disclose any details, but the villagers refuse to let them leave without an answer. Eventually, the staff reveal the truth. Dev must treat 50 patients within 15 days, and if he fails, he will lose his medical license.

The news spreads quickly through the village.

While some villagers are concerned about Dev’s future, Johala Chap is delighted. Instead of worrying about what could happen to Dev, he celebrates the possibility of finally seeing the doctor lose his license.

The situation becomes even more serious when Masaan Baba decides to use the opportunity against Dev.

Masaan Baba Turns the Village Against Dev

That night, Masaan Baba gathers the villagers and asks them to make a promise. He wants everyone to ensure that not a single patient visits the Kallari Health Centre during the next 15 days.

Masaan Baba presents it as the perfect opportunity to finally free the village from Dr Dev. If Dev cannot find 50 patients, his medical license will be revoked, and his presence in the village will no longer be a problem for them.

Johala Chap and Malon Ji readily agree to the plan and take the oath.

Pushkar is more hesitant. He clearly struggles with the decision, knowing that preventing sick people from receiving treatment is not a simple matter. Yet, after some hesitation, he eventually joins the others and takes the oath.

Masaan Baba’s plan now puts Dev in an extremely difficult position. Even if there are patients who need treatment, the villagers are being encouraged to keep them away from him.

The Women Decide to Help Dev

The women of the village soon discuss Dev’s situation. Unlike the men, they do not want to sit back and watch him lose his medical license.

They decide to take matters into their own hands and help Dev find the 50 patients he needs within 15 days.

Their determination shows that the village is far from united behind Masaan Baba. While he is trying to isolate Dev, there are still people willing to stand by the doctor.

Pushkar arrives and informs Suhasini that the men have taken an oath not to allow anyone to visit the Kallari Health Centre for the next 15 days.

The women are furious with him.

They question how the men can deliberately stop patients from receiving medical treatment simply to ensure that Dev fails his medical board challenge. Their criticism leaves Pushkar facing an uncomfortable truth, but he remains firm in his decision.

The women eventually walk away.

Suhasini then makes her position clear. She tells Pushkar that she will stand by Dev and help him through the difficult situation.

Pushkar responds that she is free to support Dev, but he has already decided to side with Masaan Baba.

The disagreement creates another divide within the village.

Suhasini Takes Food and Hope to Dev

Despite the tension, Suhasini refuses to abandon Dev.

She prepares sheera for him and, along with Srijha and Mallar, decides to visit Dev’s house. The three women arrive carrying the food and hoping to give Dev some much-needed support.

At the same time, Dev is still struggling to figure out how he can possibly treat 50 patients in just 15 days.

The responsibility of saving his medical career is weighing heavily on him.

Shristi notices his distress and comforts him with a hug. For a brief moment, Dev gets some emotional reassurance in the middle of the chaos.

Just then, Suhasini, Mallar and Srijha arrive at the house.

They notice Dev and Shristi together and apologise for interrupting their moment. Suhasini then hands over the sheera they brought for them.

Jia takes the food and leaves.

The women then get straight to the point.

Suhasini Promises to Help Dev

Suhasini tells Dev that they will support him and do whatever they can to help him complete the challenge.

She also warns him about Masaan Baba’s latest move.

The women reveal that Masaan Baba is actively turning the villagers against Dev and is encouraging them to prevent patients from visiting the Kallari Health Centre. They advise Dev to remain extremely careful because the situation could become more dangerous.

Dev listens to them as the seriousness of the situation sinks in.

He is not simply fighting against a medical board deadline anymore. He now has to deal with an organised attempt to make sure he fails.

Suhasini, Mallar and Srijha eventually leave, but their words give Dev some hope. At least he knows that he is not completely alone in this fight.

The episode ends with Dev still facing the daunting challenge of treating 50 patients in 15 days, while Masaan Baba’s plan threatens to make the task nearly impossible.

Yaadein 8th October 2026 Review

The episode does a good job of turning Dev’s medical board punishment into a proper race against time. The 50-patient target in 15 days is already difficult, but Masaan Baba’s decision to stop patients from reaching the health centre makes the situation much more compelling.

The divide between the men and women of the village also adds an interesting layer. Suhasini and the other women refuse to let Dev fight alone, while Pushkar chooses Masaan Baba’s side. That conflict feels more meaningful than simply having everyone blindly support one person.

Devayani’s confrontation with Dev is another reminder that Dev is being attacked from several directions at once. He needs patients, support and time, and Masaan Baba is determined to take all three away from him.

The real shocker comes in the precap, where Shristi gets injured in an attack by a goon. Just when Dev is already struggling to protect his career, the danger appears to be moving closer to his family as well. The next episode could push this battle from professional sabotage into something much more personal.
