Mannat 9th October 2026 Written Update: Ankit Frames Vikrant for Manyata’s Murder as Dua Rejects Dhairya

The episode begins with Samragi making her intentions clear to Ankit. She wants to see Vikrant behind bars for Manyata’s murder.

Ankit asks her directly whether she wants to frame Vikrant for Manyata’s death.

Samragi refuses to see it that way. She insists that Vikrant is responsible for what happened and says she cannot allow him to live happily with Mannat after taking her sister’s life.

She is consumed by anger and revenge.

Ankit assures Samragi that he will make sure Vikrant goes to jail. Samragi then openly vows to take revenge on Vikrant, making it clear that she will not stop until she sees him punished.

Dua Breaks Dhairya’s Photo

Elsewhere, Dua is still struggling to process everything about Dhairya. Her anger and heartbreak become overwhelming, and she breaks his photograph in a fit of rage.

Mannat walks in and immediately notices what has happened.

She goes to Dua and hugs her.

Mannat apologises for hiding the truth from her. She admits that she was wrong to keep such an important truth from Dua, but she explains why she made that decision.

Mannat knows how deeply Dua loves her Baba.

She also knows that Dua would never have believed that Dhairya could have killed Neetu because Dhairya raised her from birth and made countless sacrifices for her. For Dua, Dhairya was not simply her father figure. He was the person who had always been there for her.

Mannat explains that she never expected Dhairya to change after Vikrant entered their lives.

According to Mannat, Dhairya eventually became responsible for Neetu’s death and also separated Vikrant from them.

She tells Dua that she did not want to reveal the truth in a way that would destroy her emotionally.

Mannat compares Dua’s situation with the pain they have already experienced. Aishwarya Rai Singh traumatised Mannat, while Vishaka Kumar used Vikrant for her own selfish reasons. Mannat says they never wanted Dua to go through the same kind of trauma.

Dua remains heartbroken, but Mannat stays beside her.

Dua Refuses to Speak to Dhairya

Later, Dhairya calls Mallika.

He asks her to give the phone to Dua because he wants to speak to her one last time.

Mallika agrees and hands the phone to Dua.

But the moment Dua hears Dhairya’s voice, she disconnects the call.

She is furious and tells Mallika that she hates him.

Mallika later explains to Mannat that she only helped Dhairya because she wanted to see Dua move on from the pain and start living her life again.

Dua breaks down and hugs Mannat.

Vikrant tries to comfort her. He tells Dua that she needs to accept the truth, move forward and find the strength to overcome everything that has happened.

He then decides to change the atmosphere.

With Ganesh Visarjan taking place, Vikrant suggests that they forget their problems for a little while and celebrate together.

His attempt works.

Dua eventually laughs, giving the family a brief moment of happiness amid all the turmoil.

But away from the celebrations, something much more sinister is taking place.

Ankit Sets a Trap for Vikrant

Ankit begins putting Samragi’s plan into action.

He takes one of Vikrant’s old shirts and deliberately stains it with Manyata’s blood.

He then removes a button from the shirt and places it near Manyata’s dead body.

The evidence is being carefully constructed to make it appear as though Vikrant was involved in Manyata’s murder.

Ankit is not acting impulsively. Every step is designed to create a connection between Vikrant and the crime.

His next move takes the plan even further.

Ankit Sneaks Into Vikrant’s House

Ankit visits Vikrant’s house disguised as a dhobi.

He manages to enter without raising suspicion.

Once inside, he hides the blood-stained shirt in the house. He also deliberately collects Vikrant’s fingerprints, creating another piece of evidence that can potentially be used against him.

After completing his plan, Ankit quietly leaves.

The trap is now ready.

Vikrant has no idea that someone has been secretly building a case against him while he is busy supporting Mannat and Dua.

Ganesh Visarjan Brings a Brief Moment of Happiness

The episode ends on a contrasting note.

Mannat celebrates Ganesh Visarjan with her family.

For a brief moment, the atmosphere is joyful. The family comes together and enjoys the festivities, unaware that Ankit’s plan could soon destroy their peace.

Vikrant, in particular, has no idea that the evidence against him has already been planted.

The celebration therefore feels almost like the calm before the storm.

Mannat Precap

The precap confirms the next major twist.

The inspector arrives to arrest Vikrant Saluja for Manyata’s murder.

After Ankit’s carefully constructed trap, Vikrant is now set to face the consequences of a crime he did not commit.

Will Vikrant be able to prove that he has been framed?

And will Mannat believe him when the evidence appears to point directly toward him?

Mannat 9th October 2026 Review

The emotional heart of the episode is Dua’s struggle with the truth about Dhairya. Mannat’s explanation is important because she isn’t simply trying to justify hiding the truth. She understands exactly what Dhairya meant to Dua and knows that revealing his actions could completely shatter the girl who trusted him most.

Dua’s refusal to even hear Dhairya’s voice shows just how badly that trust has been damaged. Her heartbreak feels more convincing because the episode reminds us of everything Dhairya once did for her.

Vikrant’s effort to make Dua smile during Ganesh Visarjan also provides a much-needed lighter moment before the real disaster arrives.

And Ankit? He has officially gone into full villain-mode with this frame-up. The blood-stained shirt, planted button and fingerprints make it obvious that Vikrant is being deliberately trapped rather than accidentally implicated.

The precap finally delivers the payoff: Vikrant’s arrest.

The big question now is whether Mannat will stand by him when all the evidence seems to say otherwise.
