Yaadein 10th October 2026 Written Update: Srishti Attacked by a Masked Man as She Fights Menstrual Taboos

The 10th October 2026 episode of Yaadein takes Srishti’s fight against menstrual taboos into dangerous territory. While she and Dev try to educate the villagers about periods and menstrual hygiene, Masaan Baba continues exploiting their superstitions by using a scientific trick to create a fake divine sign against Dev and his family. Srishti refuses to give up despite repeated rejection, but her efforts eventually put her in danger when a masked attacker targets her.

Srishti Wants to Change the Villagers’ Mindset

The episode begins with Srishti discussing the problem with Jia and Dev.

She believes that the villagers’ attitude towards periods and menstrual health can change only when people start speaking openly about these subjects. Instead of allowing shame and outdated beliefs to control the conversation, she wants them to spread awareness and encourage women to understand their own health.

Jia and Dev agree with her.

Srishti understands that changing deeply rooted traditions will not happen overnight, but she is willing to make the effort. For her, awareness is the first step towards breaking the cycle of misinformation.

While Srishti focuses on educating the villagers, Masaan Baba is busy creating another problem for Dev and his family.

Masaan Baba Creates a Fake Divine Sign

Masaan Baba seeks divine intervention and asks God to give a clear sign about whether Dev and his family should leave the village.

But instead of waiting for any genuine sign, he secretly takes matters into his own hands.

Masaan Baba throws phosphorus powder onto the ground. The powder causes the area to catch fire.

The villagers are shocked when they see the flames.

Unaware of the science behind what has happened, they immediately assume that the fire is a divine message.

They believe that God wants Dev and his family to leave the village.

Masaan Baba’s plan works.

The villagers interpret the incident according to his wishes and decide that Dev and his family should be driven out.

Once again, superstition becomes more powerful than reason, exactly as Masaan Baba intended.

Sreeja Challenges Masaan Baba’s Trick

Sreeja, though, is not willing to accept the incident as a miracle.

She questions Masaan Baba’s trick and creates a fire of her own.

She then tells the villagers to focus on their work and leave the matter concerning Dev alone.

The villagers are left confused because they have now witnessed two separate incidents involving fire.

They conclude that God has somehow given opposite answers to Masaan Baba and Sreeja.

Masaan Baba becomes suspicious.

He starts wondering whether Sreeja learned the trick from Dev and realises that she may know far more than she is revealing.

At the same time, Sreeja remembers how she actually learned about the phosphorus trick from Dev.

The incident therefore exposes an important weakness in Masaan Baba’s manipulation: someone else now understands how he is creating these so-called divine signs.

Mallar Tries to Win His Bet With Jia

The episode then shifts to Mallar and Dhruv.

Mallar buys Dhruv ice cream and manages to get his phone number.

Meanwhile, Jia searches for Dhruv and discovers that he is with Mallar.

She immediately becomes worried that Mallar may have managed to get her number as well.

Jia rushes over to them.

Mallar proudly tells Jia that she has lost the bet and that he now has her number.

To prove his victory, he dials the number.

But there is an unexpected twist.

Srishti answers the call.

Dhruv takes the phone and tells Srishti that Mallar has bought him several ice creams. He then asks whether he can have another one.

Srishti agrees.

Jia, clearly unimpressed by Mallar’s celebration, tells him to think before celebrating his victory.

She then leaves with Dhruv.

The lighter moment provides a brief break from the serious issues unfolding elsewhere in the village.

Srishti Remembers a Disturbing Incident

Later, Srishti recalls a disturbing incident involving a woman who was beaten by her husband after speaking openly about menstrual health.

The memory deeply affects her.

The incident reminds Srishti of just how dangerous the villagers’ attitudes can become when outdated beliefs are treated as unquestionable traditions.

Dev brings her tea and asks her not to overthink what happened.

He explains that many of the villagers have grown up with outdated beliefs and that changing their mindset will take time.

The two share a quiet and sweet moment while drinking tea.

Dev’s support gives Srishti some comfort, but she remains determined to continue the fight.

Srishti Begins Educating the Women

The next day, Srishti approaches a village woman and tries to explain the importance of menstrual health and proper hygiene.

She wants women to understand their bodies instead of treating periods as something shameful or forbidden.

But the woman refuses to listen.

She insists that there is no need to discuss such matters because these are their traditions.

Srishti faces the very resistance she expected.

Yet she does not give up.

As she continues speaking to the women, a masked person secretly watches her from a distance.

Srishti remains unaware that someone is observing her movements.

Villagers Shut Their Doors on Srishti

Srishti approaches more women and invites them to visit the Arogya Kendra.

She wants to create a space where they can openly discuss their doubts, concerns and questions about menstrual health.

But the response is discouraging.

The women refuse to listen and shut their doors in her face.

Srishti is repeatedly rejected, but she continues trying.

Her determination to change the villagers’ mindset is stronger than the humiliation she faces.

Unfortunately, the resistance soon becomes much more dangerous.

A Masked Attacker Targets Srishti

The masked person who has been watching Srishti finally makes a move.

The attacker approaches her and hits her on the head with a rock.

Srishti is injured and left shocked by the sudden violence.

The attack makes it clear that someone is not merely opposed to her ideas—they are prepared to hurt her to stop her from challenging the village traditions.

The masked attacker warns Srishti that anyone who goes against tradition will meet the same fate.

The threat is chilling.

Srishti’s campaign for menstrual awareness has now turned into a personal safety issue.

Someone clearly wants to frighten her into silence.

But considering Srishti’s determination throughout the episode, the attack is unlikely to make her simply walk away.

Instead, it raises a much bigger question: who is behind the mask, and why are they so desperate to protect these traditions?

Precap: Srishti Chases the Masked Man

The upcoming episode promises answers.

Srishti chases the masked man, determined to discover his identity.

Her pursuit finally leads to a shocking development when Uditanshu and his wife catch the masked person.

Srishti is stunned when she sees them.

Their involvement immediately raises questions about what they know and whether they have any connection to the attack.

The identity of the masked person could finally expose who is working against Srishti and why.

Review

This episode gives Srishti’s track much-needed intensity. Her campaign against menstrual taboos is not treated as an easy mission where everyone suddenly understands her message. The repeated rejection from the village women feels important because it shows how deeply these beliefs are rooted.

Masaan Baba’s phosphorus trick is equally interesting because the entire “divine sign” is built on science being misunderstood as a miracle. Sreeja knowing the same trick gives his manipulation a genuine threat, because his secret is no longer completely safe.

The emotional moment between Srishti and Dev also works well. Dev understands that changing the villagers’ mindset will take time, and his support gives Srishti some emotional strength.

But the real shock comes with the attack.

Srishti is no longer simply arguing with people who disagree with her. Someone has decided that violence is the answer to her questions. The masked attacker’s warning makes the situation considerably more serious.

And the precap is even more intriguing because Uditanshu and his wife catching the masked person puts them directly into the mystery. The question is whether they are exposing the attacker—or whether their involvement is hiding something much bigger.
