Aarav Questions Preeti About Her Dating Profile
The episode begins with Aarav talking to Preeti about her dating-app profile. He makes it clear that he does not want to judge her simply because she has shown interest in younger men through the profile. Instead, he says that he wants her to meet someone genuinely good in real life.
Preeti explains that she did not create the profile herself. Her sister created the account for her.
Aarav then casually asks whether she has found anyone interesting on the app.
Preeti admits that she has.
She opens the dating app and shows him that she has already accepted a match. Aarav is clearly curious about the situation, even though he tries not to show too much reaction.

He asks Monty whether it is acceptable to cross a line if doing so is meant to help a friend.
Monty immediately teases him.
Aarav’s question is clearly not random. He is thinking about what happened with Gaurav and the lie he told.
He recalls how he declared himself Preeti’s boyfriend even though the two of them are not actually in a relationship.
Aarav knows that he crossed a boundary to protect her, but he is now beginning to wonder whether that decision could create a new problem.
He then comes up with an idea.
Aarav decides that he needs to speak to Preeti.
The episode ends with Aarav preparing to have that conversation, leaving the nature of his next move uncertain.
Review
This episode finally pushes the Aarav-Preeti relationship into dangerous territory, even though neither of them has officially admitted anything.
The biggest moment is obviously Aarav declaring himself Preeti’s boyfriend. He may have done it to protect her from Gaurav, but that is a pretty massive “just helping a friend” move. There is a fine line between being supportive and accidentally creating a fake relationship that starts looking suspiciously real.
Gaurav’s return is also interesting because he suddenly wants the relationship back after throwing it away for Shanaya. Preeti’s refusal is the right emotional response. She does not owe him forgiveness simply because he has realised that he made a mistake.
Her fear that he could hurt her again also shows that she has not forgotten the betrayal. Five years cannot be erased with a bouquet and an apology.
Aarav, on the other hand, does not even hesitate when Gaurav confronts Preeti. He steps in, takes her hand and stands between them. His protectiveness is becoming increasingly obvious.
And then comes Kaira.
Just when Aarav has pretended to be Preeti’s boyfriend, Kaira announces that he is her type and asks Preeti to set them up. The timing could not be more inconvenient. Preeti agreeing to help may also lead to some wonderfully awkward moments because Aarav clearly has no idea what he has gotten himself into.
The most interesting part of the episode is actually Aarav questioning whether he crossed a line. That shows he is beginning to understand that his feelings and actions around Preeti may not fit neatly into the “best friend” category anymore.
