Armaan and Abhira’s reaction is equally important. Instead of interrogating Myra the moment she arrives, they hug her. Abhira noticing her fever before anything else also reinforces the mother-daughter bond at the heart of this storyline.
Kabir’s return gets a quieter but equally emotional treatment. Nandani serving him food and Samar revealing that he travelled to Mumbai to find him give his return some real emotional weight.
Sanjay, of course, is not ready to join the forgiveness parade.
And honestly, someone had to remain suspicious because otherwise the family would have moved from complete chaos to perfect festival mode in approximately three minutes.
