Yaadein 12th October 2026 Written Update: Srishti Exposes the Masked Attacker as Dev Finds a New Way to Reach the Village Women
Srishti Is Attacked by the Masked Man
The episode begins with Srishti facing the masked man once again.
He attacks her with a stone and warns her to stop interfering with the village’s traditions. Despite being injured, Srishti refuses to be intimidated. She rebukes him and demands that he show his face.
The masked man refuses to reveal his identity and runs away.
Srishti does not let him escape so easily. Despite the pain from her injury, she immediately runs after him.
At that moment, Gehna and Uditanshu, who have arrived in the village, manage to catch the masked man.
Srishti is surprised to see them and asks what they are doing there. Gehna tells her that they will explain everything later and first need to teach the masked man a lesson.
She then tends to Srishti’s injury and gives her first aid.
Dev Confronts the Attacker
Dev soon arrives at the spot and is surprised to see Uditanshu and Gehna there. He addresses Uditanshu as Dr. Uditanshu, drawing the attention of the villagers gathered around them.
The masked man sarcastically remarks that there were no doctors in the village earlier, but suddenly there are three doctors now.
Dev ignores the comment and immediately checks on Srishti. He asks whether she is alright, and Srishti assures him that she is fine.
Dev becomes angry about the attack and says that he will file a police complaint against the masked man.
Srishti stops him.
She explains that their real objective is not simply to defeat one person. They need to change the mindset of the villagers. Winning a confrontation with the attacker will not solve the larger problem.
Srishti then decides to identify the man.
She removes his mask and is shocked to recognise him.
He is the same man who previously misbehaved with Jia.
Dev is furious.
He reminds the man that he had let him go the previous time and never imagined that he would repeat his behaviour, especially by attacking his wife.
Dev points out that Srishti is working for the welfare of the village and trying to improve people’s lives. There was absolutely no justification for attacking her.
He tells the man that he has now made the same mistake twice.
The villagers begin discussing the incident among themselves. They admit that they had believed the man was a good person, but his actions have now revealed his true character.
Dev Treats Srishti at the Clinic
Dev asks Gehna and Uditanshu why they suddenly came to the village.
Gehna says they can discuss that later and insists that Srishti should first be taken to the clinic.
Everyone takes Srishti to the Kallari Health Centre.
Dev examines her wound and asks her a few basic questions. After checking her condition, he reassures everyone that she is fine.
The injury is only superficial.
Jia and Dhruv then arrive and immediately ask Srishti how she is feeling.
Srishti assures them that she is alright.
Jia is also curious about Gehna and Uditanshu’s sudden arrival and asks when they reached the village. Dev repeats the question, clearly wanting an explanation himself.
Gehna and Uditanshu finally explain what happened between them.
Gehna Learns About Uditanshu’s Feelings for Ananya
Gehna reveals that she made Uditanshu take an oath and asked him directly whether she was the only woman in his heart.
Uditanshu has to admit the truth.
He still has some feelings for Ananya.
Gehna is deeply hurt by the admission. She expresses her disappointment, clearly struggling with the fact that Uditanshu’s feelings for his past relationship have not completely disappeared.
The revelation adds another layer of tension to their relationship.
Their arrival in the village may have been unexpected, but the emotional baggage between them has clearly travelled with them.
Mallar Learns About the Attack
Suhasini, Srijha and Mallar arrive at the health centre and check on Srishti.
Srishti once again assures them that she is fine.
Mallar notices Uditanshu and Gehna and assumes that they must be the two doctors who have come from Mumbai.
Gehna immediately corrects him.
She tells him that she is not a doctor and points out that he has simply assumed her profession based on the circumstances.
Later, Mallar speaks to Srishti about the attack.
He says that he has learned that the man who attacked her is the same person who previously misbehaved with Jia. Because of that connection, Mallar suspects that the latest attack could have been motivated by revenge.
Srishti disagrees.
She believes the reason is much bigger than a personal grudge.
According to her, the man attacked her because she was the first woman to openly raise her voice about personal hygiene in the village.
For Srishti, this is not merely about one man’s anger. It is about the resistance she is facing from people who are unwilling to question traditions or accept changes that could improve the lives of the villagers.
Masaan Baba Encourages the Masked Man
While Srishti and the others try to understand the situation, Masaan Baba speaks to the masked man.
Rather than reprimanding him for attacking Srishti, Masaan Baba tells him not to feel sad.
He says that the man picked up a rock because he was trying to protect their traditions.
Johala Chhap also encourages him.
He goes even further, telling the man that if necessary, he should pick up a gun the next time to protect their traditions.
The encouragement only strengthens the man’s determination.
He vows that he will continue standing up for the traditions of the village.
The scene makes it clear that Srishti’s fight is not going to be easy. She is not simply dealing with one misguided person but with people who are actively encouraging resistance to change.
Srishti Finds a New Way to Reach the Women
Suhasini complains to Srishti that the women of the village are refusing to listen to them.
Srijha adds that the situation has become even more difficult because the women shut their doors whenever they see Srishti.
Srishti’s message cannot reach them if they refuse to even let her enter their homes.
Dev then comes up with an idea.
He asks Srishti what would happen if they could deliver their message without needing to enter the women’s homes.
Srishti immediately becomes curious.
Dev turns to Mallar and the others and asks whether they can arrange a loudspeaker.
At first, Jia and the others do not understand what Dev has in mind.
Dev and Srishti explain the plan to them.
If the women refuse to open their doors, Srishti can take her message to the entire village through a loudspeaker. The women will not have to come outside or allow anyone into their homes to hear what Srishti wants to say.
Srishti appreciates Dev’s idea.
Mallar agrees to arrange the loudspeaker immediately.
Usman then installs the loudspeaker at the Kallari Health Centre.
The episode ends with the groundwork being laid for Srishti’s next attempt to reach the village women.
Precap
In the precap, Srishti uses the loudspeaker to deliver an important message to all the women in the village.
Will the women finally listen to Srishti’s message about personal hygiene, or will the people determined to protect old traditions find another way to silence her?
Review
This episode keeps Srishti’s social reform track firmly at the centre of the story, and that works well because the conflict is becoming bigger than a simple mystery surrounding the masked man.
The attack is disturbing, but the more important revelation is what happens afterward. Srishti does not want to simply defeat the attacker or send him to the police. She understands that one arrest will not change the mindset that allowed him to attack her in the first place.
The fact that Masaan Baba and Johala Chhap actually encourage the man makes the conflict more serious. Srishti is fighting an entire belief system, not just one angry villager.
Dev’s loudspeaker idea is the episode’s smartest move. If the women are shutting their doors, Srishti does not need to keep knocking on them. She can simply take the message to them. Sometimes the best solution is not forcing open a closed door but finding another way to make yourself heard.
The Uditanshu-Gehna track also gets an important emotional development. Gehna asking whether she is the only woman in Uditanshu’s heart and hearing him admit that he still has feelings for Ananya clearly leaves her hurt. That unresolved emotion is likely to create another complication as the village storyline progresses.
Overall, the episode balances the social message, the masked-man mystery and the personal drama reasonably well. The loudspeaker setup gives Srishti a fresh strategy, and the precap promises that she is finally going to address every woman in the village at once.
