Bareilly Ke Bacchan 16th October 2026 Written Update: Aarti’s Mother Stops Her From Marrying Ganga as the Wedding Is Called Off

Sangam Worries About Aarti’s Absence

The episode begins with Sangam deciding to visit Aarti’s house to find out why she has not arrived at the temple. With Ganga waiting to marry Aarti, Sangam grows concerned about the delay and wants to know what is keeping her away.

Krishna immediately tries to stop Sangam. He warns her that going to Aarti’s house could create serious trouble if someone spots her there. Sangam is left to wait, hoping Aarti will arrive before it is too late.

At the temple, the priest asks the Bacchan family why they have not left yet. He reminds them that the temple will close in half an hour and urges them to hurry with the wedding arrangements. Krishna assures him that they will leave in fifteen minutes, suggesting that the family still believes Aarti will arrive soon.

Sangam tries calling Aarti, but there is no answer. The unanswered call increases the family’s anxiety, although they continue to hope that Aarti will keep her promise and come to marry Ganga.

Aarti Reaches the Temple, but Her Mother Intervenes

Aarti finally arrives at the temple, dressed beautifully for her wedding. She prepares to call Ganga and the Bacchan family to inform them that she has reached the venue. Before she can make the call, her mother intervenes and takes her away from the temple.

Aarti’s mother questions her about arriving at the temple dressed so beautifully. She clearly understands that Aarti has come with the intention of marrying Ganga, but she refuses to let her daughter go ahead with the decision.

Aarti pleads with her mother to allow her to leave. She makes it clear that she will marry Ganga regardless of the opposition she faces. Her mother, though, remains determined to stop the wedding and takes Aarti away, preventing her from reaching the waiting family.

The situation leaves Aarti caught between her love for Ganga and her mother’s refusal to accept their relationship. While Aarti is desperate to fulfil her promise, her mother is equally determined to ensure that she does not go through with the marriage.

Aarti Refuses to Marry Sudanshu

Aarti continues pleading with her mother, asking her to let her go and marry Ganga. Her mother questions her behaviour and reminds her that the family has already found a suitable match for her.

Aarti refuses to accept this argument. She tells her mother that she does not like Sudanshu and has no desire to marry him. Her love belongs to Ganga, and she wants her family to understand that she cannot simply abandon her feelings because they have chosen someone else for her.

Aarti begs her mother to allow her to marry the person she loves. Rather than listening to her daughter, her mother responds with an extreme threat.

She tells Aarti that she is free to leave if she wishes, claiming that she will not stop her. Yet she immediately warns her that if she steps out of the house, she will find her mother dead when she returns.

The threat leaves Aarti facing an impossible emotional choice. She wants to be with Ganga, but her mother is using the possibility of her own death to force Aarti to stay.

Aarti’s grandmother objects to the statement and tells her daughter not to speak in such a manner. She questions her behaviour, recognising how harshly Aarti is being treated.

Aarti’s mother defends herself by asking what else she can do. She says she cannot tolerate the humiliation caused by Aarti’s decision and adds that Bhushan will also be unable to bear it. Her concern about the family’s reputation continues to outweigh Aarti’s wishes.

The Bacchan Family Waits as Time Runs Out

Back at the temple, the Bacchan family continues waiting for Aarti. The priest grows increasingly impatient as the closing time approaches. He asks them where the bride is and reminds them that the temple is about to close.

Satluj uses the delay to taunt Krishna and Sangam. He questions their decision to believe that Aarti would arrive, pointing out that she has still not shown up. His remarks add to the tension surrounding the already uncertain wedding.

Krishna argues with Satluj, unwilling to let him mock the situation. Ganga intervenes before their disagreement escalates and stops the argument. With the wedding hanging in the balance, Ganga has little reason to welcome another confrontation among the family members.

Sangam makes one final attempt to reach Aarti. She calls her again, hoping that Aarti will answer and explain what has happened. At Aarti’s house, though, her mother notices the phone ringing and breaks it.

Aarti is distressed by the act. With her phone destroyed, she has no easy way to contact Ganga or tell the Bacchan family why she cannot reach the temple. Her mother’s decision further isolates her at the very moment she needs to communicate with the people waiting for her.

Sangam Apologises as Ganga’s Wedding Fails to Take Place

At the temple, Sangam checks Aarti’s number again and discovers that her phone has been switched off. The family’s hopes begin to fade as they realise that Aarti is still missing and there is no way to reach her.

The priest finally tells the Bacchan family to leave because it is time to close the temple. With no sign of the bride, the family cannot continue waiting indefinitely.

Sangam feels deeply disappointed. She apologises to Aarti, saying that she genuinely believed Aarti would come to the temple and marry Ganga. Sangam had trusted Aarti’s promise, and watching the wedding fall apart leaves her emotional.

Ganga tries to comfort Sangam. She tells her that she is not responsible for what has happened and asks her not to worry. Rather than blaming Sangam, Ganga understands that the situation has gone beyond the family’s control.

The entire Bacchan family becomes emotional as they think about Ganga and the pain she must be experiencing. They had come to the temple hoping to witness her marriage to Aarti, but their plans have ended in disappointment.

With the temple closing and Aarti nowhere to be seen, the Bacchan family finally leaves with heavy hearts. Ganga’s wedding does not take place, leaving her future with Aarti uncertain once again.

Precap

Aarti gets ready to marry Ganga at the Bacchan house, with Ajab supporting their relationship. Sangam is delighted to see Aarti and helps the couple with the wedding rituals. Ganga and Aarti finally get married.

Review

This episode puts Aarti in an emotionally difficult position. Her determination to marry Ganga is clear, but her mother’s extreme threat turns a personal choice into a painful dilemma. Breaking Aarti’s phone also makes the situation more frustrating, as it prevents her from explaining her absence to the family waiting at the temple.

The Bacchan family’s disappointment adds an emotional touch, especially when Sangam apologises and Ganga reassures her. Satluj’s taunts bring additional tension, but Ganga’s decision to stop the argument shows that she has more important worries on her mind.

The episode ends on a heartbreaking note, with the wedding failing to take place despite Aarti reaching the temple. Thankfully, the precap promises a dramatic turnaround. With Ajab supporting the couple and Sangam helping with the rituals, Ganga and Aarti may finally get the wedding they have been fighting for.
