Bigg Boss 20 20th October 2026 Written Update: Amrapali and Manish Get Nominated as Qazi and Aasif Clash
The 20th October 2026 episode of Bigg Boss 20 brings heated arguments, uncomfortable confrontations, and a nomination task that puts several housemates under pressure. While Amrapali and Manish get nominated in the first round, the second round introduces the loser tag and creates fresh conflicts. Qazi and Aasif’s growing hostility, Arishfa’s emotional breakdown, and Yung’s changing friendships add to the drama inside the house.
Love and Yung Clash Again
The episode begins with Love and Yung arguing with each other. Their voices grow loud enough for Scout and Aasif to ask them to speak softly.
Love says she considered her argument with Yung a joke, but Yung makes it clear that he does not see it that way. Their disagreement leaves Amrapali wondering why the two keep targeting each other.
Elsewhere, Gullu complains to Scout that Amrapali is not helping with the chopping. Scout advises him to address the issue directly with Amrapali rather than complaining to someone else. Gullu adds that Amrapali is asking him to peel extra garlic, further highlighting the tension over household responsibilities.
Gullu then asks the contenders to name the CEO of Google, but nobody manages to provide the correct answer. Even a simple question becomes another awkward moment for the housemates.
Qazi Feels Hurt by Mahhi
Qazi is upset because Mahhi cooks for Yung. Mahhi reminds him that she took care of him when he was ill, but Qazi explains that he felt bad when she did not prepare parathas for him.
His reaction suggests that he expects more consideration from Mahhi and feels overlooked when she shows attention to someone else. The situation adds another personal disagreement to the growing tension in the house.
Bigg Boss Announces the Nomination Task
Bigg Boss explains the nomination task and asks Scout, the captain, to nominate one contender directly. Scout nominates Uditi Singh.
Bigg Boss then instructs the housemates to nominate contenders individually by assigning them a specific tag. Scout is asked to collect the boring tag from the storeroom, setting the stage for a round of blunt judgments about the personalities and behaviour of fellow contestants.
Yung nominates Manish, describing his reactions as lame and calling him boring. Manish nominates Amrapali, arguing that she plays as part of a team rather than establishing herself individually.
Gullu also nominates Amrapali, saying her jokes are boring. Mary nominates Arishfa because she wet other housemates’ beds, while Aasif nominates himself, claiming that even he finds his own entertainment boring.
Aasif then complains that Qazi speaks in English and says Bigg Boss should confront him about it. The remark triggers a verbal argument between Qazi and Aasif, adding to their already strained equation.
Mahhi Calls Qazi Boring
Mahhi says that Qazi has become a little boring. Qazi is hurt by her comment and asks her to nominate him.
Mahhi chooses Amrapali instead, explaining that her jokes are boring. Qazi then questions Mahhi about why she has described him as boring. Mahhi says he keeps repeating the same things, leaving Qazi offended.
Qazi tells Mahhi not to sit with him if she finds him boring. What begins as a discussion about a task quickly becomes a personal disagreement, showing how easily the housemates take criticism to heart.
Love nominates Manish, explaining that she has not had any conversations with him and therefore finds him boring. Arishfa and Amrapali also nominate Manish.
Qazi, in turn, says Amrapali is boring because she jumps into other people’s fights instead of staying out of them.
Qazi and Aasif’s Argument Escalates
The tension between Qazi and Aasif intensifies when Qazi performs his signature step. Aasif calls the step boring and tells Qazi to act like a monkey.
Qazi touches Aasif, who immediately asks him to stay away and not touch him. Their verbal exchange grows heated.
Qazi then pretends to have a heart attack. Aasif takes offence, accusing Qazi of making fun of a heart attack. The disagreement turns into an intense argument, making their rivalry one of the most explosive moments of the task.
Uditi nominates Mary, explaining that she has not had a conversation with her and therefore considers her boring. Kanika nominates Amrapali, saying she lacks individual issues and keeps jumping into other people’s fights.
Bigg Boss brings the first round to an end. Amrapali and Manish emerge as the nominated contenders in this round.
After the argument, Qazi apologises to Aasif. Aasif does not immediately move on and decides to speak to him after the task, leaving their conflict unresolved.
The Loser Tag Creates More Trouble
In the second round, Bigg Boss asks the housemates to assign someone the loser tag.
Gullu tags Arishfa as a loser, accusing her of creating issues and then crying about them. Amrapali gives the loser tag to Gullu, setting up another disagreement between them.
Love, Kanika, Mary, Mahhi, and Qazi also tag Arishfa as a loser. Uditi chooses Mary, explaining that Mary once said she wanted to remain in everyone’s good books. Uditi considers that attitude a sign of a loser mentality.
Arishfa tags Love as a loser, accusing her of refusing to accept her mistake during the task. Manish and Yung also criticise Arishfa, saying she does not take advice seriously.
The round results in Uditi, Amrapali, Manish, Arishfa, Gullu, Love, and Mary getting nominated in the task.
After the nominations, Arishfa apologises to Gullu, Kanika, and Mahhi for wetting their beds. Kanika and Gullu accept her apology, allowing at least some of the tension to ease.
Gullu, though, questions why Amrapali nominated him, arguing that she had no reason to do so. Amrapali responds, and the two end up arguing again. Even after the task, the tags continue to fuel disagreements among the housemates.
Yung and Uditi Grow Closer
Away from the task, Yung and Uditi begin developing a friendship. Yung opens up about his relationships inside the house, saying he invests time and effort in Amrapali, Love, and Scout but does not receive the same effort in return.
His conversation with Uditi suggests that he is beginning to reassess where he stands with the people he considers close to him.
Meanwhile, Arishfa breaks down while speaking to Yung and Uditi. She reveals that she felt hurt when Mahhi questioned her upbringing. Yung comforts her as she struggles with the emotional impact of the comment.
The moment shows that the conflicts inside the house are affecting the contestants beyond the immediate arguments. For Arishfa, the criticism feels personal, and she appears overwhelmed by the repeated confrontations.
Scout Questions Yung’s Conversations
Scout later complains to Yung about his conversations with Arishfa and Uditi. Yung points out that Scout also speaks to Gullu and Kanika.
Scout explains that his conversations with them are related to matters inside the house. The exchange suggests that Scout is uncomfortable with Yung growing closer to other contestants, while Yung does not appear convinced by the distinction Scout makes.
With friendships shifting and trust becoming a point of contention, the housemates seem increasingly sensitive about who speaks to whom and where their loyalties lie.
Precap
Qazi and Arishfa get into an argument that takes an ugly turn. Their confrontation threatens to create another major clash inside the house.
Review
The nomination task gives this episode plenty of conflict, but the most revealing moments come from the housemates’ reactions to criticism. Qazi takes Mahhi’s comment personally, while his repeated clashes with Aasif turn a simple task into a full-blown confrontation. Their rivalry is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.
Amrapali and Manish’s nominations add pressure to the game, while the loser tag exposes the housemates’ growing frustration with Arishfa. Her apology over the wet beds is a positive step, but the emotional wounds from the arguments clearly remain.
Yung’s conversation with Uditi also stands out because it hints at shifting friendships. Scout’s objection suggests that alliances inside the house may be becoming more complicated.
The episode delivers the expected Bigg Boss mix of personal grievances and strategic judgments. Still, when every criticism becomes a personal battle, the actual game risks getting lost in the noise. The precap promises another ugly confrontation, with Qazi and Arishfa now heading towards a fresh clash.
