Bigg Boss 20 22nd October 2026 Written Update: Uditi Wins a Captaincy Round as Qazi Falls Out With Mahhi

Qazi, Scout and Yung Clash Over the Previous Task

The episode begins with Yung asking Scout about the incident involving someone holding a girl’s leg. Scout explains what happened, and Yung questions whether Qazi was acting during the confrontation.

Scout accuses Qazi of trying to portray himself as a supporter of women’s empowerment. Qazi counters that Scout dragged a girl by holding her leg. Their disagreement soon turns into a heated verbal argument, with Yung also getting involved.

The tension between the contestants continues as the captaincy task moves forward, giving everyone another opportunity to challenge their rivals.

Aasif Defeats Qazi in the First Captaincy Round

Bigg Boss calls Qazi and Aasif to participate in the first round of the captaincy task, which involves sitting on a recorder. Mary is given the responsibility of setting the speed for both contestants.

Mary chooses slow speed for Aasif and medium speed for Qazi. Aasif wins the first round, while Scout comments on Qazi’s performance.

Bigg Boss then asks Mary to sing a song before announcing the winner. After singing, Mary declares Aasif the winner. Aasif uses his victory to eliminate Qazi and Gullu from the captaincy task.

The result leaves Qazi out of the race, adding another setback to his game.

Manish Questions Qazi’s Stand for Arishfa

After the round, Manish discusses the earlier incident with Qazi. He asks why Qazi took a stand on Arishfa’s behalf when she did not react the first time.

Gullu also points out that Arishfa had not complained about the situation. Qazi explains that he was unaware of the full circumstances and did not know what had happened.

The conversation raises questions about whether Qazi reacted too quickly without understanding the facts. His intentions may have been to support Arishfa, but the housemates believe he should have clarified the situation before confronting Scout.

Yung Defeats Scout in the Second Round

The second captaincy round features Yung and Scout. Amrapali asks Love to support Scout, while she decides to play on Yung’s side.

As the task begins, Qazi controls the recorder speeds. He sets Scout’s recorder to fast speed and Yung’s to medium speed. Yung wins the round, while Scout feels dizzy after the task. Aasif steps in to look after him.

Qazi then sings a song and declares Yung the winner. Yung eliminates Uditi and Arishfa from the captaincy race, narrowing down the contenders.

Uditi Wins the Third Round and Eliminates Scout

The third round brings Arishfa and Uditi into the competition, with Yung acting as the dictator responsible for setting the recorder speeds.

Yung sets Uditi’s recorder to fast speed and Arishfa’s to medium speed. Uditi emerges victorious, and Yung sings a song before announcing her as the winner.

Uditi then makes her decision, eliminating Scout and Yung from the captaincy task.

Bigg Boss announces the contestants who remain in contention for the final round: Love, Amrapali, Mahhi, Manish, Mary, Kanika and Aasif. With the competition moving towards its final stage, the remaining housemates have another chance to fight for the captaincy.

Aasif Accuses Qazi of Provoking Scout

Away from the task, Aasif discusses Qazi’s behaviour with Scout and Yung. He claims that Qazi used abusive language and made gestures suggesting that he wanted to kick Scout during the competition.

Qazi, on the other hand, tells Kanika that Aasif, Scout and Yung are constantly provoking him. The opposing accounts deepen the divide between the contestants, with both sides believing they have been treated unfairly.

Arishfa thanks Qazi for taking her side but advises him to confirm the facts before reacting. Her response suggests that she appreciates his support but does not want him to intervene without understanding the situation fully.

Kanika asks Arishfa whether she feels comfortable around Scout. Arishfa says she is comfortable with Yung but not with Scout, clarifying her own position in the ongoing dispute.

Mahhi Calls Out Qazi’s Reaction

Mahhi confronts Qazi over his decision to take a stand for Arishfa. She points out that Arishfa is an adult who can speak up for herself and questions why Qazi felt the need to react on her behalf.

Qazi insists that he wanted to respond, so he did. Mahhi argues that his intervention was unnecessary and adds that she does not believe any man in the house has bad intentions.

She tries to make Qazi understand that even if Scout did not intend to cause harm, making serious allegations without knowing the full story could damage Qazi’s own image.

Qazi does not take Mahhi’s criticism well. He tells Uditi and Arishfa that he will never speak to Mahhi again.

Mahhi also discusses the situation with Kanika and Gullu, complaining that Qazi has not been active enough in the tasks. She decides to distance herself from him rather than continue defending his behaviour.

Gullu and Kanika Share a Lighthearted Moment

Gullu and Kanika discuss love and falling for someone, creating a lighter moment amid the arguments and captaincy tension. Their conversation hints at the growing ease between them, although the discussion does not reach a clear conclusion.

Later, Uditi becomes emotional and breaks down. Amrapali asks what has upset her, while Aasif suggests that she is missing home.

Uditi admits that she has never stayed away from Laila for such a long time. Her emotional moment reveals how difficult the extended separation from home has become for her.

Elsewhere, Love asks Scout whether he misses Kashvi. Scout opens up about Kashvi, and Love asks how they met. During the conversation, Scout tells Love that he reminds him of Kashvi, creating a personal moment between the two contestants.

Uditi and Qazi Turn Against Mahhi

Uditi later tells Qazi that they cannot remain friends with Mahhi. She accuses Mahhi of being more interested in gossiping about others and passing comments than maintaining genuine friendships.

Qazi, meanwhile, praises Kanika and Gullu for keeping their bond consistent since the beginning of the show. His appreciation comes as his own relationships in the house become increasingly strained.

Mahhi also warns Yung that his group could fall apart if Amrapali is evicted. Yung responds that Love may turn against Scout if Amrapali leaves, adding that he is already aware of the possibility.

Yung and Scout then reflect on how their friendship has changed. They admit that things are no longer the same because their priorities have shifted. They also discuss how contestants appear to be pretending to be someone else instead of revealing their real personalities.

During the conversation, Yung claims that Uditi is trying to act like a South Bombay girl, even though he does not believe she fits that image.

Mahhi Warns Qazi About His Friendship With Uditi and Arishfa

Mahhi confronts Qazi again and tells him that if he continues talking to Uditi and Arishfa, she will stop sitting with him. She makes it clear that she is not in the house to act as anyone’s public relations manager.

Mahhi believes Qazi has taken on that role for Uditi and Arishfa since Aman’s departure. Her remarks leave both women feeling hurt, as the conflict now threatens their friendships as well as their standing in the house.

Qazi later makes fun of Uditi’s dog, which offends her. Kanika supports Qazi in the disagreement over the dog, adding another layer to the shifting alliances.

Kanika Questions Mahhi’s Friendship With Others

Kanika tells Gullu that Mahhi will start sitting with Uditi from the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar. She questions the sincerity of Mahhi’s friendships and suggests that her behaviour may change depending on the circumstances.

Kanika later recalls her former relationship while talking to Scout. She also explains that her friendship with Gullu developed naturally, without being forced. Gullu manages to make her laugh, offering a lighter end to an episode dominated by arguments and changing loyalties.

As the contestants continue to reassess their relationships, the captaincy competition becomes only one part of the bigger game. Personal disagreements are now influencing friendships, and Qazi’s conflict with Mahhi threatens to create even more divisions in the house.

Precap

Qazi reveals that he won his first reality show 21 years ago. He dedicates a song to Hrithik Roshan and dances for the Bollywood star.

Review

The captaincy task delivers a series of clear results, with Aasif defeating Qazi, Yung beating Scout and Uditi winning against Arishfa. The changing roles and eliminations keep the competition moving, while Scout’s dizziness briefly shifts the focus from rivalry to concern.

The bigger drama, though, lies in Qazi’s relationships. His decision to defend Arishfa may come from a good place, but Mahhi raises a fair question: should he have intervened before understanding what actually happened? Arishfa herself asks him to verify the facts first, making the criticism harder to dismiss.

Mahhi’s warning that she will distance herself from Qazi if he continues supporting Uditi and Arishfa adds another layer to the conflict. With Uditi also turning against Mahhi and Kanika questioning the authenticity of her friendships, alliances are becoming increasingly fragile.

The episode offers plenty of arguments and shifting loyalties, but the housemates risk spending more energy analysing one another than proving themselves in the game.

Ratings: 3.8/5
