Udne Ki Aasha 22nd October 2026 Written Update: Sayali Tries to Win Laksh’s Trust as Roshni Struggles With Motherhood
Sayali Tries to Apologise to Laksh
The episode begins with Sayali desperately trying to apologise to Laksh after scolding him and disrespecting the food he prepared. She repeatedly asks him to forgive her, but Laksh refuses to speak to her.
Worried that her son will distance himself even further, Sayali shares her fears with Sachin. He advises her to give Laksh some space and promises to speak to him.
Sayali feels guilty about her behaviour and fears that she has damaged her chances of building a loving relationship with Laksh. Sachin understands her concern and reminds her that winning Laksh’s trust will take time, patience and consistent effort.
Roshni Struggles With Her Feelings for Laksh
Elsewhere, Roshni becomes determined to return to the village and bring Laksh back, believing that he belongs with her. Someone reminds her that Laksh is Sachin and Sayali’s biological son, even though she has raised him for seven years.
Roshni refuses to accept that biology alone defines motherhood. She compares herself to Yashoda, who raised Krishna while Devaki gave birth to him. Through this comparison, Roshni argues that the love and care she has given Laksh make her his mother, too.
Yet the argument forces her to confront an uncomfortable truth. While she desperately wants Laksh to accept her as his mother, her biological son, Krishna, has spent years longing for her affection.
Roshni is reminded that her attachment to Laksh is becoming an obsession driven by ego and stubbornness. Instead of continuing to chase Laksh, she needs to turn towards Krishna and give him the love he has always wanted.
Her emotional conflict highlights the complicated nature of motherhood, attachment and the desire to be accepted by a child.
The Children Protest Against the Adults
Meanwhile, the children become frustrated with the adults’ behaviour. They decide to protest by refusing to speak to the grown-ups or eat their food.
The children chant slogans against the adults’ domination and announce that they will continue their protest until their concerns are addressed.
The adults, though, have other responsibilities, including preparations for the upcoming Vastu Kundal ceremony. They try to persuade the children to cooperate, but the protest creates another challenge for the family.
Sachin notices that Sayali is still blaming herself for the growing distance between her and Laksh. He patiently explains that relationships cannot be repaired overnight.
Using an example from driving, Sachin tells Sayali that learning requires repeated practice and patience. Motherhood is no different. She must continue trying to understand Laksh rather than expect him to accept her immediately.
Sachin Organises a Marble Game
Sachin comes up with an idea to distract the children and ease the tension in the household. He organises a game of marbles, hoping that a little friendly competition will help everyone forget their disagreements.
Gradually, the children and adults join the game and form different teams. Laksh becomes the captain of one team, while Sayali joins the opposing side.
The game quickly becomes lively as the participants tease one another, cheer for their teammates and try to outdo their opponents. Some doubt Sayali’s ability to aim accurately, while others encourage her to prove herself.
The competition grows more exciting as both teams fight for victory. When Sayali finally takes her turn, she successfully hits the target and earns two points for Laksh’s team.
Everyone celebrates the achievement, and Laksh’s team wins the game. The playful moment brings the family together, offering a brief escape from their emotional struggles.
Sachin appreciates Sayali’s efforts, while the others congratulate her on her excellent shot. Sayali feels delighted by the victory, and Sachin recognises that such small, happy experiences could help her gradually build a connection with Laksh.
Laksh Refuses to Accept Sachin and Sayali
The episode takes an emotional turn when someone remarks that parents should protect their children’s dignity and confidence.
Laksh immediately objects, insisting that Sachin and Sayali are not his parents. His response brings the family’s unresolved relationship problems back to the surface.
Laksh begins to refer to his father, but Sachin abruptly tells him to shut up. The sudden interruption leaves the situation tense and unresolved.
Despite the family’s attempts to create happy moments and help Laksh feel comfortable, his refusal to accept Sachin and Sayali remains a painful obstacle. Sayali’s efforts show that she wants to repair their bond, but Laksh is not yet ready to acknowledge her as his mother.
Precap
Laksh continues to struggle with accepting Sachin and Sayali as his parents, leaving the family caught in an emotional conflict.
Will Sayali’s patience help her win Laksh’s trust, or will his resistance continue to widen the distance between them?
Review
Sayali’s efforts to apologise and rebuild her relationship with Laksh provide the episode’s emotional centre. Sachin’s advice about patience is sensible, and the marble game offers a welcome reminder that family bonds can sometimes begin with small, ordinary moments rather than grand gestures.
Roshni’s conflict is equally significant. Her comparison with Yashoda raises a valid question about whether motherhood is defined by biology or by the love and care a parent provides. Still, her desire to be accepted by Laksh cannot come at the expense of Krishna’s emotional needs.
The ending is the episode’s most striking moment. Laksh’s blunt rejection shows that a fun game cannot instantly resolve years of complicated relationships. Sachin and Sayali will need more than good intentions to earn his trust.
