Mahid and Seher investigate Kausar’s death
The episode begins with Mahid and Seher waiting to meet the inspector. The inspector congratulates Mahid on his wedding and expresses his happiness that he has married Seher. He believes Seher’s presence will bring a positive change in Mahid, encouraging him to follow the law and hand over criminals to the police instead of taking matters into his own hands.
The inspector explains that working with Mahid becomes much easier when he cooperates with the police. He credits Seher for this change, making Mahid ask the inspector to help her understand her importance in his life. Mahid says he wants to spend every minute with Seher, but she playfully assures him that she already knows how much she means to him.
The inspector then presents Mahid with a special gift: all the files and evidence related to Kausar’s death. He understands how important the case is to Mahid and promises to help him uncover the truth.
During their discussion, the inspector reveals that only three people have visited Hussain in jail: his wife, Husna, and her husband, Hakim. Mahid immediately questions why Hakim visited Hussain, but the inspector admits that he has no answer and excuses himself.
Mahid grows frustrated as he feels that members of his own family are plotting against him. With so many secrets surrounding him, he no longer knows whom he can trust. Seher urges him to remain calm and focus on discovering the truth before jumping to conclusions.
She doubts that Hakim knows about the evidence, but she suspects that someone has leverage over Husna. Otherwise, Husna would not continue sending money to Hussain’s wife. Seher also points out that, considering Husna’s character, she would ordinarily have tried to eliminate Hussain’s wife to protect herself.
As Mahid examines the documents, he accidentally drops the files. Seher notices photographs of Kausar’s body scattered across the floor. Overcome with grief, she picks them up and breaks down while looking at them. Seeing her pain, Mahid gently takes the photographs from her hands, understanding how deeply Kausar’s death continues to affect her.
Farid reveals the truth to Amal
Elsewhere, Farid meets Amal and shows her Mahid’s medical reports covering the past seven years. He explains that Haider threatened him and forced him to hand over the confidential records, promising to secure Amal’s release in return.
Farid reveals that Haider intends to destroy Mahid’s reputation and strip him of his position as Mufti. Feeling guilty about betraying Mahid’s trust, Farid explains that he had no choice but to share the confidential patient information because he wanted to save Amal.
He also expresses his disappointment in her, saying she fails to understand the pain her loved ones endure because of her decisions. Farid questions why she married Haider in the first place.
Amal explains that she was forced into the marriage and had no other option. Farid tries to comfort her, assuring her that her family is standing by her. At the same time, he struggles to understand why she continues to support Haider despite knowing the damage he is capable of causing.
Farid warns Amal that her stubbornness could destroy three lives. Determined to save her from Haider’s control, he declares that he will do whatever it takes to free her from this marriage.
Mahid understands Seher’s pain
Back with Mahid, Seher opens up about her grief and remembers everything Kausar did to raise her. She recalls how Kausar endured Pervez’s beatings to protect her and stood against a toxic society to ensure that Seher received an education.
For Seher, Kausar was much more than a guardian. She was the person who fought against every obstacle to give her a better life. Her death is therefore not just a tragedy but a deeply personal loss that Seher cannot move past without finding justice.
Mahid listens to her and realizes that he has been looking at the case only from his own perspective. He admits that he failed to understand Seher’s pain and the sacrifices Kausar made for her.
He acknowledges that Seher has every right to investigate the case and promises to support her completely. This moment brings them closer, as Mahid finally recognizes that solving Kausar’s murder is not merely about uncovering evidence. It is also about helping Seher find answers and justice for the woman who raised her.
Haider’s dangerous plan to separate Mahid and Seher
Elsewhere, Haider offers sweets to Insha and reveals that he has found a way to separate Mahid and Seher. He explains that he has struck a deal with Farid and intends to use Mahid’s medical records against him.
According to Haider’s plan, Seher will be forced to publicly declare Mahid mentally unstable. Such a declaration could cost Mahid his position as Mufti and destroy his standing in society.
Haider believes this will eventually turn Mahid against Seher. Once Mahid begins to hate her and their relationship falls apart, Insha will have an opportunity to support him and take advantage of his heartbreak.
Haider is confident that his plan will achieve two goals at once: damaging Mahid’s reputation and driving a wedge between the newly married couple.
At the same time, Husna calls Haider and complains that he is plotting against Mahid. She advises him to stop and listen to her concerns. Haider agrees to help her, leaving the extent of their arrangement unclear.
Seher tries to cheer Amal up
Later, Amal overhears a conversation between Mahid and Seher. Seher tells Mahid that she stood in line for four hours to buy Korean chicken for Amal because it is her favourite. She hopes the gesture will cheer Amal up after her recent anger.
Mahid jokingly complains that Seher never goes to such lengths to make him happy when he is upset with her. Their light-hearted exchange reflects the growing warmth between the couple.
Amal decides to leave them alone and give them some privacy. When Seher attempts to follow her, Mahid stops her and reassures her that Amal is safe because he has installed CCTV cameras everywhere.
Elsewhere, Insha overhears Amal and Nazima talking. She is shocked when she realizes that they suspect her of plotting with Haider. Their conversation raises further questions about how much they know and whether Haider’s plan is already beginning to unravel.
Nazima also realizes that Haider must possess some kind of evidence against Amal, which could explain why Amal remains trapped in the situation.
Seher questions Hussain’s wife about Hakim
Determined to investigate every possible lead, Seher contacts Tahir and asks him to help her speak with Hussain’s wife. She wants to understand why Hakim visited Hussain in jail and whether their meeting has any connection to Kausar’s death.
Hussain’s wife explains that Hakim is a doctor and that Hussain deeply respected him. Hussain often praised Hakim’s character, which makes the visit appear less suspicious.
After hearing her explanation, Seher concludes that Hakim may not be involved in the case after all. Still, she knows better than to underestimate Hussain’s cunning nature.
She wonders whether Hussain might have handed the evidence over to Hakim, using the doctor as a means of keeping the truth hidden. Seher is therefore unwilling to close that line of investigation completely.
With Mahid supporting her, Seher continues searching for answers. The mystery surrounding Kausar’s death deepens, while Haider’s plan threatens to destroy Mahid’s reputation and the relationship he has only just begun to cherish.
