Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 27th October 2026 Written Update: Myra and Kabir Hide Their Pain During Tanya’s Wedding Ritual
Vidya and Kajal Discuss Tanya’s Wedding
The episode begins with Vidya asking Kajal whether she feels upset about the family attending Tanya’s wedding. Kajal replies that if Tanya has decided to marry into their family, there is no reason for her to feel bad about it. Vidya decides to stay home with Kajal.
Manisha points out that Tanya will feel hurt if Kaveri does not attend the wedding. Kaveri makes it clear that she cannot bear to see Tanya become the daughter-in-law of the Damanis. Her resentment continues to affect the family’s preparations.
Later, Manisha asks Vidya to try her jewellery set, commenting that Vidya’s collection is outdated. Vidya says she is happy with whatever she owns, but Manisha realises that her words have hurt her. She apologises, trying to make amends.
Tanya Worries About the Byahath Ritual
Nandani speaks to Tanya about the upcoming byahath ritual. Tanya becomes worried as she wonders who will perform the ritual on her behalf. The wedding celebrations are supposed to be a happy occasion, but the absence of support from her own family continues to trouble her.
Nandani learns that Kabir has caught a cold and decides to prepare kadha for him. Tanya notices that Kabir still seems unable to move on from Myra. His feelings remain unresolved, even as the family prepares to celebrate another wedding.
Abhira Supports Tanya
Manisha tells Abhira that she has bought jewellery for her. Abhira later approaches Armaan, saying she needs to discuss something with him. Armaan reveals that he also wants to talk to her, but their conversation is interrupted when Tanya calls.
Abhira invites Tanya to the Poddar house for the byahath ritual. Tanya is surprised and asks how Abhira knows about it. Abhira explains that Nandani has already told her.
Tanya wants to thank Abhira for including her, but Abhira asks her not to thank her. Tanya then expresses her gratitude to Nandani, who reassures her that she is now part of their family.
The gesture gives Tanya some comfort at a time when she feels the absence of her own family’s support. Abhira and Nandani make it clear that she does not have to face the wedding celebrations alone.
Armaan and Abhira Notice Myra’s Hidden Pain
Elsewhere, Abhira and Armaan discuss Myra’s emotional state. They have noticed that Myra smiles in front of them, but her sadness returns as soon as they leave.
The two realise that Myra is still struggling with her feelings, even though she tries to appear normal around them. They decide not to pressure her and agree to give her time to heal at her own pace.
At the Poddar house, preparations for the ritual continue. The family wants the celebrations to proceed smoothly, but tensions surrounding Tanya’s marriage remain unresolved.
Kaveri Warns Sanjay and Krish
Kaveri calls Sanjay and Krish to discuss the ritual. Sanjay makes it clear that he has no interest in participating in Tanya’s wedding celebrations. Kaveri says she expected this response from them, but warns both of them not to create any drama during the ceremony.
Sanjay then stops Kajal from attending the ritual. Armaan tries to reveal that Kajal has no objection to Tanya’s wedding, but Abhira intervenes. She explains that they cannot disclose Kajal’s feelings to everyone.
Kajal, on the other hand, believes she needs to help with the preparations. She points out that everyone is working together and that the ritual cannot be left entirely to the others. She decides to stay back and assist.
Armaan and Abhira then decide to speak to Myra again, hoping to understand what she is going through.
The Poddars and Damanis Celebrate the Ritual
Tanya arrives at the Poddar house and feels awkward amid the wedding preparations. Abhira and Armaan welcome her warmly, trying to make her comfortable.
Myra asks Kaveri about the byahath ritual, and Kaveri explains its significance to her. The Poddars and Damanis then come together to celebrate the ceremony.
Despite the festive atmosphere, Myra and Kabir hide their pain. Their unresolved feelings remain beneath the surface, making it difficult for them to enjoy the celebrations wholeheartedly.
Samar asks Kabir to take a photograph of the family, but Kabir refuses. Samar insists that he click the picture, putting Kabir in an uncomfortable position.
At the same time, Raghav asks Bhairvi to be happy because their family members are finally together. Bhairvi, though, remains troubled by another question. She wonders what Tanya said to Neena that convinced her to allow Barkha to attend Samar’s wedding.
The family continues with the ritual, but the questions surrounding Tanya’s wedding and the emotions Myra and Kabir are trying to suppress remain unresolved.
Precap
Myra and Kabir cross paths and both sneeze. Myra indirectly offers Kabir a nebulizer, while Kabir gives her medicine. Without openly expressing their feelings, they continue to take care of each other.
Armaan and Abhira are happy to see Myra returning to her old self. Abhira remarks that Myra has been acting unusually sober and mature over the past few days, but she finally seems to be back to normal. Armaan believes this means Myra is forgetting Kabir.
Review
The episode focuses on the emotional complications behind the wedding celebrations. Tanya receives much-needed support from Abhira and Nandani, while Kaveri’s reluctance and Sanjay’s opposition keep the family drama alive.
The most interesting track remains Myra and Kabir. Their silence, Kabir’s refusal to take the family photograph, and their struggle to hide their pain suggest that their feelings are far from settled. The precap strengthens this impression as they instinctively care for each other despite trying to move on.
Armaan and Abhira may believe Myra is healing, but her quiet concern for Kabir tells a different story. The wedding rituals bring the families together, yet the emotional distance between Myra and Kabir remains the episode’s biggest hook.
