Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 28th October 2026 Written Update: Myra and Kabir Share a Sweet Moment as Krish Opposes Tanya’s Wedding

The 28th October episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai brings emotional moments, family drama, and a subtle development in Myra and Kabir’s relationship. While the Poddars prepare for the byahath ritual, Myra remains distracted by her college admission worries. Arman and Abhira try their best to cheer her up, unaware that she is still thinking about Kabir. Elsewhere, Krish creates a scene over Tanya and Samar’s wedding, while Myra and Kabir unexpectedly cross paths and help each other when they realise they are both unwell.

Myra Worries About Her College Admission

The episode begins with Manisha asking Myra to learn more about the byahath ritual. Vidya observes that Manisha has become a teacher for the day as she guides Myra through the customs. Kaveri and Vidya instruct Tanya to follow their directions and complete the ritual properly.

Abhira asks Myra to distribute the cones to everyone, but Myra remains lost in her thoughts. Arman notices her distraction and asks what is troubling her. Myra explains that she is thinking about her new college and the admission process.

Arman and Abhira grow concerned as Myra reveals that she needs to cover local news to secure her selection. Arman reassures her that she will surely get admitted, encouraging her not to lose confidence.

He then asks Myra to take a family picture. As she prepares for the photograph, her thoughts drift towards Kabir. Even during the family celebrations, she finds herself distracted by him.

Kabir and Myra Both Fall Sick

Samar asks Kabir to take the family picture, but Kabir says the camera battery has died. He points out that by the time it charges, the function will be over.

Raghav comes to the rescue by giving Kabir a backup battery. Just then, Kabir sneezes. Nandani assumes that he has consumed too much ice cream and comments on his condition. Kabir leaves the place, but the sneezing does not stop there.

Myra also sneezes, prompting Arman and Abhira to worry about her health. Tanya notices that both Kabir and Myra are sneezing and stuns everyone by revealing that they have both eaten too much ice cream.

Their similar symptoms create an unexpected connection between the two. Although neither is feeling well, Myra’s thoughts continue to circle around Kabir, hinting that her feelings for him are becoming harder to ignore.

Krish Creates a Scene at Tanya’s Wedding Preparations

The celebrations take an uncomfortable turn when Krish arrives with a band and starts roaming around Tanya. The Poddars are shocked by his behaviour, and Arman asks him to stop.

Krish refuses to listen and continues irritating Tanya. Abhira also intervenes and questions his actions. Krish turns on her, asking what problem she has with him.

He claims that Tanya has swallowed his entire family and now complains that the Poddars are supporting her as well. His accusations reveal how strongly he opposes Tanya and Samar’s wedding.

Abhira asks Sanjay to take Krish inside before the situation gets worse. She then tells Tanya not to let Krish ruin her mood or spoil the celebrations.

As Myra sneezes again, Arman asks her to get ready because he has planned a surprise for her. Abhira also asks Arman to bring a steamer for Myra on his way, showing that she remains concerned about her health even as the family drama continues.

Krish Learns Why Neena Allowed Barkha to Attend the Wedding

Krish later questions Neena about allowing Barkha to attend Samar and Tanya’s wedding. He believes Neena is also against the marriage and cannot understand why she has agreed to let Barkha be part of the celebrations.

Neena explains that Tanya threatened to file for Barkha’s custody if she refused to allow Barkha to attend the wedding. Krish is shocked to learn that Tanya used such a threat to get her way.

The revelation leaves Krish even more determined to stop the wedding. He asks Neena to do something that will prevent Tanya and Samar from getting married, making it clear that he has no intention of accepting their relationship peacefully.

With Krish growing more hostile, the wedding celebrations remain vulnerable to further disruption.

Arman Plans a Surprise to Cheer Up Myra

Elsewhere, Arman and Myra meet a journalist, hoping to help Myra with her local news assignment and college admission prospects. They fail to notice that Krish is also at the restaurant.

Arman then surprises Myra with bubbles in an attempt to bring a smile to her face. He wants her to forget her worries for a while and enjoy the moment.

Myra recognises that Arman and Abhira are making genuine efforts to keep her happy. She decides to fake a smile in front of them rather than reveal what is really going on in her mind. Arman clicks her picture, believing that his surprise has helped lift her mood.

Yet Myra’s thoughts remain complicated, especially when it comes to Kabir. Her attempt to appear cheerful suggests that she is keeping her feelings to herself rather than sharing them with her family.

Myra and Kabir Cross Paths at the Playground

Kabir brings Barkha to the playground, where he unexpectedly bumps into Myra. Their encounter takes a surprising turn when they realise that they are both suffering from a cold.

Despite their discomfort, the two quietly help each other. Myra offers Kabir her nebulizer, while Kabir gives her medicine.

Neither makes eye contact with the other as they exchange the items. Their silent interaction carries an awkwardness that suggests there is more going on between them than either is willing to acknowledge.

The moment is brief, but it adds another layer to Myra and Kabir’s developing connection. Even without a conversation about their feelings, their instinct to help each other comes naturally.

Precap: Myra Hesitates to Visit the Damani House

In the precap, Abhira and Arman dance at Tanya’s function. Abhira is shocked to discover that she has brought a different sari for Tanya.

Myra realises that Tanya’s sari has been left at home. When the question of taking it to the Damani house arises, Myra refuses to go because she does not want to face Kabir.

Her reaction raises questions about how she will handle her growing feelings and whether she can continue avoiding him.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 28th October Episode Review

The episode balances the tension surrounding Tanya and Samar’s wedding with Myra’s personal struggles. Krish’s dramatic behaviour keeps the family conflict alive, while Neena’s revelation adds another reason for his opposition to the marriage.

The more interesting track, though, is Myra and Kabir. Myra’s college worries give her a separate goal, yet her thoughts repeatedly return to Kabir. Their quiet exchange of medicine and the nebulizer is a sweet moment because neither needs to say much for their concern to come through.

Arman and Abhira’s efforts to cheer Myra also add warmth, even as Myra hides her true feelings behind a smile. The precap promises another awkward encounter, with Myra refusing to visit the Damani house because of Kabir. Her feelings may be growing, but admitting them is clearly another matter.
