Radhika Hopes Veer Will Return on Karwa Chauth
Radhika’s first Karwa Chauth turns into an emotional ordeal as she observes the fast despite being away from Veer. Although she has returned to her parents’ home, she continues to hope that her husband will come back to her.
With her mother and sister-in-law performing the Karwa Chauth rituals, Radhika also joins them. Deep down, she believes Veer will come to complete her fast. Her heart is still waiting for him, even after everything that has happened between them.
As Radhika begins the puja, Veer finally arrives. Seeing his face through the sieve brings a brief smile to her face. She assumes that he has returned to fulfil the Karwa Chauth rituals and make things right between them.
But her happiness lasts only a moment.
Veer Hands Radhika the Annulment Papers
Instead of completing her fast, Veer hands Radhika the annulment papers. The documents leave her completely shattered. The little hope she had felt when she saw him is crushed in an instant.
Radhika is unable to understand how their relationship has reached this point. What should have been a beautiful first Karwa Chauth together becomes a painful reminder of their separation.
