Yaadein 5th November 2026 Written Update: Dev Defies Masaan Baba’s Punishment as Mallar Exposes the Villagers

Jia Wants Dev and Shristi to Leave Kallari

The episode begins with Jia telling Dev and Shristi that they do not need to accept any punishment. She suggests that they should leave for Mumbai immediately. Shristi refuses to run away and says she wants to see what punishment the villagers have decided for them.

Masaan Baba announces the punishment. He orders Dev and Shristi to blacken each other’s faces and slap each other 25 times. Vandana brings a plate containing black water for the couple.

Dev reminds Shristi that she promised to stand by him. His words make her recall her earlier assurance. In a sudden move, Dev kicks the plate away. The black water spills right at Masaan Baba’s feet, leaving everyone shocked.

Johala Chap witnesses the incident and remarks that Masaan Baba has ended up humiliating himself while trying to punish Dev and Shristi.

Dev and Shristi Challenge the Villagers

The villagers confront Dev over his behaviour. Dev and Shristi make it clear that they respect each other and will not slap or humiliate one another. The villagers insist that the couple has committed an offence and must accept the punishment.

Dev and Shristi argue that the village’s law book cannot be placed above Indian law. They warn everyone that if the villagers try to force the punishment on them, they will file a police complaint against all those involved.

Dev further challenges the villagers to come forward and blacken their faces if they have the courage. He asks Gehna to record the entire incident and show everyone what kind of influencer she is. Gehna agrees to do so.

The villagers are confused by the word influencer. Uditanshu explains that influencers post videos that can go viral on the internet. Gehna shows them some of her social media posts to establish her popularity. Masaan Baba questions whether the woman in those videos is really Gehna. She responds by dancing to a song and proving her identity.

Masaan Baba then questions the villagers, asking whether they are afraid of a woman and are therefore refusing to punish Dev and Shristi. Malon Ji declares that the couple will indeed face punishment.

Mallar Takes a Stand for Dev and Shristi

At this point, Mallar steps forward in support of Dev and Shristi. He argues that choosing whom to live with is their personal decision and asks the villagers not to turn the matter into a bigger issue.

Mallar also points out that everyone tells little lies from time to time. He then exposes his father’s dishonesty, revealing that he sells 700 grams of ration while claiming that it is one kilogram. He also reveals that Vandana steals money from Malon Ji’s pocket.

Dev adds his own comments about the villagers’ behaviour, questioning their hypocrisy as they judge his and Shristi’s personal lives while ignoring their own actions.

The villagers remain firm in their position. They refuse to let Dev and Shristi live together without being married and insist that if they want to stay in Kallari, they must get married.

Surprisingly, Masaan Baba also declares that he has no objection to their marriage. The villagers turn to Dev and Shristi and demand their decision.

Dev agrees to the marriage, but Shristi remains silent. Dev takes her aside and tries to convince her to accept the wedding proposal.

The episode ends with Shristi yet to give her answer.

Precap: Digvijay Arrives in Kallari

Digvijay arrives in Kallari village, bringing another unexpected twist to Dev and Shristi’s complicated situation.

Review

The episode delivers a strong confrontation as Dev refuses to let Masaan Baba humiliate him and Shristi in the name of punishment. Their stand against the villagers’ unreasonable demands makes the drama more engaging, while Mallar’s unexpected support adds a satisfying moment. His revelations about the villagers’ own dishonesty expose their hypocrisy. Dev agrees to marry Shristi, but her silence leaves the biggest question unanswered. Digvijay’s arrival promises to complicate matters further.
