Nikumbh has always hidden his feelings, his pain, his sufferings and all that which could have broken him completely. He acts strong to the world and pretends he is happy, but there is more to this. Nikumbh has a rejected childhood, where all his dreams were shattered by his dad, who did not allow him to enter acting, as he felt he will never be able to do justice with the role and he does not have any talent. The way his dad insulted him infront of everyone made him cry, when he was 10 year old. Nikumbh always loved the stage and wanted to be appreciated by people on his acting skills.
The problem arises when the principal fumes knowing Samrat, the hero of the play, who is doing Dushyant’s role is in jail. He asks Nikumbh to finalize a new hero in just three hours else he will cancel the play itself. Yamini and everyone tell Nikumbh that there are everyone’s dreams and hardwork related to the play, so he can’t take the decision alone. They insist him to do Dushyant’s role where Nikumbh refuses. Azam shows a video to Yamini, where Nikumbh is being scolded by his dad and is asked not to act ever. She feels bad that how can any father demoralize his son. She goes to talk to Nikumbh and tells him that she knows everything. She asks him to prove his dad wrong and go for this play. She says he has to make his relation with his dad fine again, by doing justice to himself, as this play is his dream too.
Nikumbh finally gets convinced to act opposite her, as she is doing Shakuntala’s role. The banners get ready with Nikumbh and Yamini on it. Raghavendra walks in and tears Nikumbh’s photo side and tells everyone that there won’t be any importance given to him, as this play will only shape up good for Yamini. Nikumbh is shocked and does not oblige. On the other hand, Nikumbh plans to give a twist to the play end, but Yamini is adamant for a happy ending.
