Private Investigator (P.I) is a crime, detective, weekend TV series, new offering from Star Plus. Raffe Roy Choudhary is the central character having special attributes like thinking at a lightning speed and his guesses are never wrong. Raffe is a 21-year old young criminology student and helps the police Inspector in several crime cases such as kidnapping, suicide. Raffe has the ability to see things which the police and others couldn’t see. He was born with natural instincts and sharp problem solving skills to solve crime cases. For instance, during a visit at a suspected suicide, the police inspector who usually takes Raffe’s help thinks that he is not needed there as it suicide case is evident.
However, Raffe has the ability and knack to see beyond the obvious and soon learns that the handwritten suicide note is not written by the deceased but by the murderer or person involved in the crime. The deceased (dead person) was Dr. Hrishikesh Pathak, a famous Hindi writer. Raffe asks and justifies his point by suggesting – How come a famous writer can have a spelling mistake ? [Kyunki (because in hindi) was written incorrectly]. He points out to inspector that it is a murder case and suggests him to find out the person who has written that letter. Raffe’s mother is a mathematician. There will be new actors joining the primary cast in the same way of episodics. Private Investigator starts from 7th December @ 8:00 PM every Sunday.
