Yeh Rishta Naira Dadi big clash. Dadi declares her final decision that she will accept Gayu, but not her child. She asks Samarth not to misuse the name of Goenkas and not give the name to the coming child. She tells him that he should just think of becoming Gayu’s husband. She wants Gayu to abort the child. Manish and Samarth try to convince Dadi. Dadi doesn’t change her decision and compels them. Kartik and Naira ask Dadi about her decision. Dadi asks her to start the preparation for Samarth’s engagement. Naira doesn’t know what is on Dadi’s mind. Devyaani stays upset as things are hidden from her. She confronts Rama for hiding about Gayu. Rama doesn’t want to divulge anything. Naksh and Kirti see the cropping problems between them.

Naksh worries and wants to know what’s going on. Dadi tells Naira that she has no issues with Gayu, but her thinking will not change because of anyone. She feels she is just doing the right thing. Kartik doesn’t want Naira to think more about Dadi. He tells her that Samarth and Gayu have gone somewhere on the day of engagement. Everyone tries to contact Samarth and Gayu. Devyaani informs Bhabhimaa about Gayu’s matter. She feels bad that Rama has hidden this and made them outsiders. Rama asks Devyaani to understand her helplessness. She expects much from Singhanias. She accepts that Gayu has made a mistake.

Devyaani tells Rama that she will always support Gayu, but its wrong to make relations based on lies. She asks Rama to think of telling the truth to Goenkas. She doesn’t want Gayu’s new relation to turn bitter. Kirti explains Rama that Devyaani isn’t wrong. Goenkas arrive for the engagement ceremony at Singhania house. Kartik and Naira tell the families that engagement won’t happen, as Samarth and Gayu have eloped. Dadi gets a big shock when Naira confronts her. Rama gets worried. Dadi too can’t believe that Samarth took this wrong step. Kartik and Naira reveal about Dadi’s condition of aborting Gayu’s child.

They tell everyone that Dadi is responsible for Samarth and Gayu’s extreme step. Samarth doesn’t want Gayu’s life to go through a roller coaster again. He wants to protect her from all sorrows. Purushottam had promised Samarth that he will always support him and also help in saving Gayu’s child. Purushottam tried to impress Naira by showing his broad mentality. Dadi gets blaming Naira for cheating her once again. She feels Naira never belonged to Goenka family. Dadi’s big accusations break Naira’s heart.

Kartik doesn’t want Dadi to misunderstand Naira and punish her for Samarth’s move. Naira tells Dadi that she has done everything to save a baby’s life. Dadi scolds her for covering up Gayu’s pregnancy and deceiving her. Kartik asks Dadi not to accuse Naira, she always thought of Goenkas first. Dadi can’t believe that Kartik always takes side of Naira. Dadi comments on Naira’s priorities and asks her to choose between her family or in-laws. Kartik tries to make things easy for Naira. He asks Dadi not to compel Naira for anything wrong. He feels proud that Naira is right. He wants to take decisions as a woman, an individual first than following any roles. Dadi is angered that they fooled her.

Naira questions Dadi over her decision of killing a unborn child. She hurts Dadi verbally to put some sense in Dadi. Naira crosses the limits to open Dadi’s eyes. Dadi tells Naira that she is becoming bad for Samarth’s good. She doesn’t want the society to defame Goenkas for Gayu’s illegitimate child. Naira tells Dadi that she has to understand the pain of losing her heir and value a life. She reprimands Dadi for showing them the wrong path. Naira asks Dadi to think of Gayu’s coming child, who will adapt to Goenka family since birth. She asks Dadi to accept Gayu’s child. She makes Dadi emotional by making her realize her big mistake. Dadi accepts her mistake.
