Remove toxic Cookware. These days, People’s lifestyle has changed to a great extent with the invention of new technology, modern methods, organic food and many more. At the same time, they are much aware of the importance of eating good food to stay strong and healthy. But in some cases, many people don’t have the accurate information regarding the cookware to be used to cook food. If the cookware is toxic, the healthiest diet can also bring health complications and severe diseases. Today, we are sharing some tips to identify the toxic cookware that we found in almost all the kitchens and suggested some safer cookware to use for cooking.

1. Aluminum cookware: One can find aluminum utensils in every kitchen and used by both rich and average class people. It is very strong, lightweight metal with hidden dangers. It is a toxic metal linked to nervous system diseases, including Alzheimer’s and ALS. Though aluminum cookware is usually coated, when the coating starts removing, the toxic metal leaks into your food. You can use glass cookware as an alternative method. It will never release anything toxic when heated as it is made up of glass and very durable, environment-friendly that does not hold any bad smells.

2. Ceramic-coated cookware: 100% ceramic is completely safe for cooking purposes, but a coating of ceramic usually hides terrible cookware material. The coating is not durable enough and starts chipping after months of everyday use. This is the most dangerous types of metal poisoning and can result in abdominal pain, headaches, infertility.

You can use 100% ceramic cookware as a safer option as it is made with completely natural materials, non-toxic and no peel off. It is a non-stick cookware and will last for a long time.

3. Teflon cookware: This is the most dangerous non stick cookware coated with PTFE and PFOA chemical compounds that release toxins when the cookware heats above 572 degrees Fahrenheit. If the toxic release into the food, people will suffer headache, loose motions, vomiting and several types of cancer including breast, ovarian and prostate cancer.

It poses no risk to human beings if used for limited purpose and heating, so it is best to limit the usage in cooking the food. You can try real cast iron cookware as an alternative and safer cookware. It also works as a non-stick, very safe and convenient to use. It does not leak any toxin in your food when heated. In fact, this cookware raises the iron levels in your body.
