Dasvi 7th April 2022 starring Abhishek Bachchan Yami Gautam Dasvi to premiere on Netflix and JioCinema on 7th April 2022 After a long time actor Abhishek Bachchan will be seen in the meaty role of Chief Minister Ganga Ram Chaudhary who is sent to judicial custody for teacher recruitment scam. He is the badass minister who doesn’t agree to bow and go inside the jail and demands to fully open the gates. His attitude makes him create ruckus inside the jail. But IPS Officer Jyoti Deswal’s arrival causes humiliation and embarrassment for Ganga Ram Chaudhary. He demands to fulfill his long-lost dream of clearing his 10th board and promises to not sit on CM’s chair if he fails. Dasvi seems to be a strong story of determination and hard work against the backdrop of a social comedy film.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan will be seen playing the role of an illiterate politician Ganga Ram Chaudhary, Nimrat Kaur will be seen as Ganga Ram’s wife and Chief Minister Bimla Devi while Yami Gautam will play the character of strict IPS Officer Jyoti Deswal. Abhishek Bachchan took to his Instagram and posted the promo of Dasvi and captioned it: “Public ki demand pe, aur bhaari bharkam vote se, present karte hai #DasviTrailer! #Dasvi”. Actress Nimrat Kaur was also quick to enlighten her fans about her upcoming film and posted the promo while captioning it: “Sarkaar chalane ke baad mai gaay bhains na charaungi. CM toh ab Bimla Devi hi rewegi. #DasviTrailer out now. #Dasvi”.

Actress Yami Gautam known to play power-packed roles proudly uploaded the promo of Dasvi and captioned it: “Jail mein macha ye shor hai, #Dasvi trailer on the floor hai! #DasviTrailer out now”. Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor, Chitrangda Singh, Suniel Shetty, Diana Penty, Farah Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Juhi Chawla, Sonu Sood, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and Aditya Dhar congratulated the artists of Dasvi for their excellent trailer.

According to the speculations actors like Arun Kushwah (Luka Chuppi), Manu Rishi (Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!), Shivankit Singh Parihar (Cubicles), Shivam Roy Prabhakar (Bajrangi Bhaijaan), and Sumit Shekhar Rai will also be a part of this film. Dasvi is based on the life story of the ex-Chief Minister of Haryana named Om Prakash Chautala who passed his 12th examination studying inside the jail at the age of 82. The movie is directed by debutant director Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Jio Studios, and Bake My Cake Films.
