Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shahad Shahad 12th June 2025 Written Update: Katha’s Big Move. Katha and the Tomato Plant of Doom: A Love Story Gone Rotten.
This episode kicks off with Katha in crisis mode—but not over UV. Nope, it’s her poor tomato plant that’s on life support. She and Naina set off on a mission to save it like it’s the last green thing on Earth. And lo and behold, the universe answers! A plant health camp magically appears, and of course, it’s crawling with UV’s cousins putting on a Broadway-level act to paint UV as Saint Gardening Guru.
UV makes his heroic entry, dabs some mystery potion on the plant, and delivers some Oscar-worthy “strict instructions.” Katha melts like the tiramisu he brings her. Yep, UV came bearing dessert and deception, and Katha fell for both. She leaves smiling, and UV and his cousins burst into a victory dance like they just won Kaun Banega Manipulator.
But the plot thickens. Katha has a dreamy morning moment (literally) and wakes up thinking maybe the dream was a divine sign. She gets all fluttery over UV and cares for the tomato like it’s her firstborn. Naina, being the voice of reason, scolds her—but does Katha listen? Of course not. Tomato > logic.
Meanwhile at the Jindal house, Eshwar turns into Grumpy Grandpa, scolding everyone for street dancing. Rukhmani tries to cool him down and steer the mood back to sanskaar. But behind the scenes, Vinith and Ambika are playing villain bingo—planning to sabotage the factory. UV catches a whiff of their plotting but lets it slide like a true half-hearted heir.
Back to our hopeless romantic, Katha arrives at college glowing like she’s ready for a rom-com climax. She marches to UV’s café to apologize for doubting him. But UV, instead of practicing humility, calls her a fool and “ghobar devi”—because clearly, the man has no concept of walls having ears. And guess what? Katha hears everything. Oops.
Heartbroken and humiliated, she walks away. UV and his clown squad realize their big fat blunder and chase after her. But it’s too late—Katha slaps UV so hard, even karma must’ve said, “Well deserved.”
Precap:
UV goes low—dragging Katha’s father into the mess. Katha claps back with a personal dig at UV’s upbringing. And boy, UV looks ready to explode. This tomato tale just turned into a full-on food fight.
Verdict:
UV might be trying to cook love in his café, but all he’s serving is betrayal with a side of ego. Katha, girl, keep watering that plant—but not that man.
Rating: 3.5/5 stars — extra points for the slap, minus a few for the overdose of manipulation.
